This started out as a simple drawing of X-Key with permanent markers. Then I decided to color it ...then one of the members of the team looked at it and told me "You should add a background." Short version; I ended up spending a lot more time with this pic then I planned, but it was a fun distraction. Sharpie and pencil, colored in photoshop.
A rough sketch of a young Lilith.
Fan art! Check out krisyona1994 and drawing of Liltih! Love the shades of red! Thanks so much!
We love posting and reblogging people’s fan art so if you have some let me know and I’ll be sure to give you a shoutout. Thanks again!
X-Key in the field. The original drawing was made with pencils and ink then colored in Adobe Photoshop with a Wacom Cintiq drawing tablet.
NYCC Part 1- Daniel and I are just settling down in Philly and pulling our Kickstarter campaign in to full gear, but we wanted to share some photos from the floor of New York Comic Con. A big thank you to everyone who took the time to come and visit our booth, and a very special thanks to our friends who came by and visited the booth! Many came from other parts of the country to share this launch event with us, so thank you. I also want to personally thank the members of Team X for doing a stellar job. I am still kind of tired and actually coming down with some kind of cold, but seeing the energy on the floor really motivates me to keep going and push harder to move our project forward! (This is a multi-part post so please take a look at the other photos as well)
A quick sketch of Lilith. I always enjoy drawing Lilith because it gives me chance to capture a fiery intensity, wrapped around a naturally cool demeanor. Her eyes are seen as very intense and determined, so I challenge myself to try to convey that even with her covered. 0.7 and wooden HB pencils. -JC
Looking over the print version of Rebellion.
A quick Lilith sketch by Jonathan.
Back on tumblr...for real this time. X-key. Pencil, Ink, Photoshop.
