First sketch of the new year. Pencil and sharpie.
Hello everyone!
Today is the first day of our Halloween Social Media Giveaway. Many of you are new to the Team X Visual page and were not fans of the page when we did our first promotion. As stated in our Post New York Comic-Con video, we will be drawing sketches of our fans in the style of X-Key. Some of the sketches from the last promotion are viewable on our (www.teamxvisual.tumblr.com) Tumblr account. If you want to see yourself in the world of X-Key, read the rules below and participate. The contest ends when 25 people have responded across the various social media platforms or on November 3rd at 3:00 PM CST.
The following are the rules for the giveaway:
1. We will be awarding the first 25 responses on each of our social media platforms with a sketch of yourself in the world of X-Key. This means if you are not one of the first 25 on Facebook, you can still aim for Tumblr, Twitter, or Instagram.
2. Follow us on Facebook, Tumblr, Twitter, or Instagram.
2a: Facebook (www.facebook.com/teamxvisual), Tumblr (www.teamxvisual.tumblr.com), Twitter (www.twitter.com/teamxvisual), Instagram (www.instagram.com/teamxvisual).
3. From your social media account (Facebook, Tumblr, Twitter, or Instagram), leave a comment answering the following question: “What would you like to see from a Team X booth at either C2E2 or New York Comic-Con?”
4. Please be thoughtful with your responses as we are taking these suggestions seriously for next year’s convention circuit.
5. We will contact you if we do not have an image of you that we can use to draw from for the sketch.
6. BONUS: A number of the sketches will be cleaned up, inked, and colored. The selection will be at random (so as not to play favorites).
Enjoy Halloween in a safe way and thanks for following us!
Happy Halloween!

We really enjoyed New York Comic Con and we hope to see you next year!
NYCC Part 3 Photos from later on in the show, I was pretty tired by the final day but the energy of the people on the floor kept me afloat. It was such a great experience seeing so many people react to X-key thank you all, you made the experience worthwhile.
NYCC Part 2 -More photos from the show floor. A special thanks to Chihsuan for traveling all the way to NYC for the show. Also a special thanks to Brandon Foster, concept and line artist for Story of X, who took a big break from his schedule to come out and support his fellow Team X members on our project X-key.
NYCC Part 1- Daniel and I are just settling down in Philly and pulling our Kickstarter campaign in to full gear, but we wanted to share some photos from the floor of New York Comic Con. A big thank you to everyone who took the time to come and visit our booth, and a very special thanks to our friends who came by and visited the booth! Many came from other parts of the country to share this launch event with us, so thank you. I also want to personally thank the members of Team X for doing a stellar job. I am still kind of tired and actually coming down with some kind of cold, but seeing the energy on the floor really motivates me to keep going and push harder to move our project forward! (This is a multi-part post so please take a look at the other photos as well)
Hey everyone, its been a while since we had a "Sketch Saturday" due to the preparations for our Kickstarter Project and our appearance at New York Comic Con, so we thought we would make this one a special post. This Saturday we are jumping back through time to take a look at some of the earliest X-Key artwork. Some of these date back to late 2010 which was pretty much the beginning of Team X's work on the project. For us, it is very interesting to see the ways in which the designs have changed or stayed the same. We hope you enjoy as well.

The first order of business this week is to let everyone know that the second issue of Rebellion will be available on our website next Friday, August 29th. Even though it’s going to be a while, I really enjoy drawing this character and I thought I’d give you all an early sneak peek.
