Jonathan did a quick sketch of DJ Jam with markers and colored pencils. Jam is a character in X-Key. She looks super cool don’t you think?

Here’s a bit info about our process: After sketching, Jonathan inks line art and shading over a non photo blue copy of the sketch. Then I split the image digitally into separate layers in photoshop and illustrator.

Took me longer than it should have to make this little gif but I was messing around with the mask layer and timeline in photoshop. Anyway just wanted to try a different way to show the underlying sketch of this digital rough.
