Maybe UA 2nd Year is where they learn about Hero ethics and de-escalation techniques. And unfortunately everything happened before Deku could learn any of that.
spinaraki e-couple discourse where shigaraki gets mad at his little kitty for not answering his 1am league of legends game request in the public LoL discord server 💔
(never thought I would actually see e-couples fighting on discord but I guess there's a first time for everything)
NO WAY NO WAAAAAAAYYYY ARE PEOPLE DOING THAT. DERANGED. anyways i do think it would be funny in a fucked up way if shigaraki tried to make it so that spinner conformed to his own wake-sleep-game schedule regardless of insomnia but he isn't subtly manipulative enough to trick spinner into it. luckily spinner has no friends who are capable of talking to him about red flags and also spinner thinks it's really romantic that shigaraki wants to spend that much time with him 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
A lot of people get hung up on the fact Dabi called spinner lizard, which is considerably quirkist, but no one ever wants to talk about how after the first and only time it happened he never did it again once spinner clearly established he didn't like it. Dabi was willing to grow as a person and learn not to use the term for his teammate after one time.
Dabi's first interaction with Spinner really was to call him a slur
It's probably to be expected for the product of a multigenerational eugenics project though...
My theory about what happened to Touya is pretty much the same as yours - he attempted to do something dangerous with his quirk and burned alive for it. As to reason for it, I don't know. I do think, however, that it WASN'T during training, and I don't think Endeavor trained him at all after it became clear that he was "defective" - what would he gain from it. From what we see of the flashbacks, Touya was a healthy kid that played with his siblings.
I agree. The timeline doesn’t seem to work out that way.
We know that while Touya had a powerful fire quirk, his body was too weak for it.
So Endeavor must have given up on training him already at a young age and went on to have other children: Fuyumi, (unless twin theory, which I think it’s quite plausible given Endeavor’s and the other kids’ age), Natsuo and Shouto.
Here is Shouto at five, pre-scar, not allowed to play with his siblings - and Touya is still among them. Endeavor clearly only training him.
