I have tourette syndrome and it's effecting my life alot so much so that I have to do home school ( it's not the only reason but it's the main one) and what has helped me was my family. Since it came on so suddenly( after quarantine) my class decided that I was faking it (REGARDLESS OF The TEACHERS telling them that I had it NOT me) so they bullied me point where I didn't even want to go to school. I missed an entire semester
A year later I went back I was held back seeing these normal so I was in the grade behind me I was friends with a lot of the people there so I thought it would help and it did a lot I got through almost all the year and then I started getting chronic nausea apparently my tourette syndrome now affects my whole body so now I do homeschool but having my family around has helped so tremendously my friends are still by my side my animals still love me even if they cause me to have attacks sometimes I couldn't have asked for a more supportive family 😁
Do any of you have disabilities either physical or mental?
How do you think it has effected your life? If at all?
What would you say has helped you the most with getting through it/working with it?
You don't have to answer these if you don't want to but I was just curious.
