I actually like Fulgrim's fall, as a story (or at least the parts I've read). I think the people saying that picking up the sword takes away any agency from him are wrong and need to read the books. I think as he is written he is one of the better choices for a daemon primarch of Slaanesh. I just don't think he benefited that much from falling, if at all.
‘if only fulgrim didn’t pick up the sword he could have’ could have what. could have what. stayed under the oversight of a distant father figure? kept pressuring himself and his sons to be perfect and flawless all the time? been disposed of when he’d served his purpose? i hate you
So... appearantly when Bile falls asleep, he dreams of his fucking surgery thingy deattaching itself from him and conducting its own experiments. This is a genuine canon thing.
(I swear this man is only 50% mad scientist, the rest is just him being a silly tired gandpa)
Scythes of the Emperor fight for Democracy?
Astartes II
I imagine it's because of how their centuries of war weigh on their souls.
After watching And They Shall Know No Fear - why do they insist on giving the Astartes such deep, sad and soulful eyes that show the weight of centuries of war on their very souls? And why are we all fine with that and indeed demand more?
"My ignorance is as good as your knowledge" but leftist.
its scientifically proven and for some people its a religious thing. it goes hand in hand with manifestation and subliminals. stop fucking posting about something u dont understand. u sound like an idiot

1990s mecha anime vs 2020s mecha anime
Sometimes, a good take can be found on r/grimdank.
It's been wild seeing all the people immediately jump to calling this transphobia. I am literally asking for people to respect other peoples' gender identities.
I even very specifically did not say "trans people" in my original post, because the problem is not and never was trans people. (In fact, I'd say a GNC safe space needs to let trans people in for the same reason any queer safe space, including GNC ones needs to be able to let cishet people in--if it's not a safe space to people who are questioning, it's not a safe space)
I wouldn't even go as far as attributing this behavior to trans people. When it comes down to it, the people themselves are not the problem, it's their behavior.
The problem isn't trans people, it's people--of any identity--who think that, for some reason, the phrase "you should respect other people's identities" does not apply to them.
Call it queer infighting, but I feel like a safe space for GNC people should not have people who insist that being GNC is a pipeline to being trans.
Each of the base marine detachments except for First Company is designed to be particularly fitting for one of the codex-compliant first founding chapters.
Anvil Siege Force: Imperial Fists
Stormlance Assault Force: White Scars
Ironstorm Spearhead: Iron Hands
Gladius Task Force: Ultramarines
Firestorm Assault Force: Salamanders
Vanguard Spearhead: Raven Guard
They are also pretty blatant about which chapter they correspond to. Anvil has an enhancement related to the chapter fleet, which seems like it comes out of the blue until you realize that the Imperial Fists have always had a pretty important and powerful fleet.
Ah classic GW, going out there proclaiming the "year of chaos" or whatever and then on the reveal show that has all established chaos legions primed they show off more new/refreshed models for some redundant cringe Space Marine offshoot than the actual chaos factions get.
In addition, they somehow imply to make Imperial Fists and Salamanders unique factions BEFORE Drukhari is even on the horizon for a Codex. Just what is up with that?
GW, what the hell?
i love characters who do the “i worship the myth i make of you” and in turn dehumanize and get wrong the object of their devotion and love. yes project a thing that does not exist onto a pedestal and kneel at it like it is your altar. this will surely not blow up in both of your faces eventually
