Guys I found something lurking in my files

I remembered my home, recently. I don't know why, but I never really thought about if I had one. It was a bit later in life, while I was living in Green Hill, but it was nice. I lived there with Rouge, for a little while, until she moved in with the echidna. Is it strange that I miss it? I suppose not. At least, not any stranger than missing everything else from back then.

I also remembered the first time Sonic had ever been there. Idiot tried to race me in the rain (even though he didn't like getting wet?), and after losing several rings I figured I should probably give him a bit of mercy. I'm gonna try to recreate the hot chocolate I made at some point- it was spiced with herbs, something the Professor made for Maria and I back on the Ark. He always snuck medicinal herbs into whatever he could.

I wish I could curl up on that couch again. Listen to the radio on the kitchen counter, watching his dumb dance moves and air-guitaring.

I definitely miss that place. Lots of good memories.

I was so terrible to you. I could treat you so well in this life. I could make up for everything.

Part of the reason I'm really fond of team dark, specially of Shadow and Rouge dynamic, is because I Headcanon that they are equally broken. They both, as confortable with themselves as they are, might not be what they once envisioned being. Yet, that's what makes it easier for them to support and understand each other.
