In honor of informing others what will happen if TikTok is banned in the US, I'm reblogging this. It has happened in India. This articles explains it, but Instagram reels and Youtube Shorts were created shortly after the ban occurred in India. India had 200 million TikTok users. They all shifted to American companies.
I plan to draw Kamala Joshi in a Nauvari sari. I feel it would suit her and hope @cassandraclare can include this in her story or maybe @cassandrajp can also draw her in this attire. I was born and raised in Mumbai so I’m very excited at the prospect of my city being included in a series I love. The Nauvari ( Nine yards of fabric) is also referred to as the Kaashta or Lugade. It is a traditional sari of the state of Maharashtra and Mumbai is the state capital. Unlike other sarees, the Nauvari is built to mirror the traditional trousers that men wore and is made to be comfortable and easy to move in. It was also the staple of the Maratha clan of fighters, which was a clan that rivalled the Mughals in power and firmly established guerrila warfare training in their soldiers.
I wanna date her. It would be amazing.

Sounds good.
Hi!
I’m witchlightdreams and I’m planning to reread the entirety of The Last hours including online extras and side stories in other companion books of the Shadowhunter and I made a plan so everyone can join me. 💜
The Shadowhunter wiki has a very concise timeline of the stories, but it doesn’t include the online Extras and snippets that aren’t canon. So I put together a longer list that has all extras (excluding a few super short snippets) together. This is probably not for people who read TLH for the first time though, since a few of the short stories and extras contain spoilers.
I already asked people if they would be interested in a book club to reread TLH and I got much positive feedback. I thought long about how to achieve a communal book club so I had the idea of just making a hashtag that hasn’t been used yet to share our thoughts on the current chapter, post art, etc. What do you guys think of #TLH reread challenge?
I’ve made a plan in which order I will read the The Last hours again before the big finale and everyday I will post something about the reading section of the day, life-blog about my thoughts while reading, post art and reblog other stuff from the hashtag, so if you want to keep up-to-date and join the book club, you can either follow this blog or the hashtag or just DM me if you want to join the book club but don’t want to post yourself. I would be very interested to read this communally, so if you want to read at the same time as me, please use the tag or tell me directly. Of course you can also join later or skip the extras at the beginning entirely.
Of course no one has to follow my recommended plan, you should always read in your own time and find joy in reading. I just made this for myself and everyone who wants to read parallel with me. I’m trying to keep every daily section under 50 pages and always between 25-45 pages, but in the beginning it might not be possible, especially with the extra stories, since they don’t have page numbers and because short stories are usually longer than chapters.
If you want resources where to find the extra stories, I made a second post for that and tagged it with our book club tag.
In case you don’t own the companion books or don’t want to read the short stories because they’re too long, that’s not a problem! The Shadowhunter wiki has a good summary of those so you don’t have knowledge gaps!
Happy reading!

If we enjoy this book club I will continue the challenge for Chain of Thorns, but since we don’t know the chapters and their length yet, I can’t plan this yet.
Vi: First of all, I'm a lesbian. I don't have to understand.
This meme was brought to you by the innate obliviousness that comes with sapphic feelings.

This person has the some of the best insults I've heard.
I haven't had a lot but I've had a few Elon Musk stans on my post calling me a loser for ragging on him.
You know that licking the feet of a billionaire is not a substitute for a personality, nor is it an accomplishment of your own?
I would think shoving his nasty pasty toes down your throat would be cause for concern too, I doubt that man washes his feet.
Me: The submission for this assignment is tonight, gotta do it fast.
Also Me: Look at that lovely little book. Look at how lonely it is over there.
Me: But it's due-
Also Me: Shhhhh. We got this. We'll just do it later. Just grab that book. It's right there.
Me: I-
Also Me: I CRAVE ANARCHY TOWARDS SET SCHEDULES. GRAB. IT. NOW.
