WE NEED TO HELP THEM! They are a wonderful being and NEED things!
Well, guess who's been screwed when it comes to their car, their electric bill, their internet bill AND food stamps this month? I have less than $100 in my banking account and I need at least $300 to cover the rest of the expenses this month (more if I want to eat).
So please, if you like any of my work fanfic work over the years please consider sending a dollar my way to help me out through this shitty, shitty month. I'm disabled and on a very limited income so anything helps. And if you can't donate then please reblog! The more eyes on this the better!

If the business is allowed to have personal financial gain as the main goal, then so are the employees.
If the business was a worker coop, then helping each other make a profit instead of focusing on your own pay would be the goal. But if the business is not required to care about the well being of the employees, then the employees should not be required to care about the well being of the business.
If the business can replace an employee and leave them for dead when the employee stops being profitable, then an employee can quit a job and leave the business for dead when they get a better offer.
i did this again, what in the name of Primus did i do!? Perform the blood eagle??

My brain died and went to the land of unicorns trying to understand what was going on first-
as someone who has not been allowed to take risks (or really engage in any child-normal activities) I can confirm this. I've recently started to actually do things with my friends that might not be the safest, admittedly not much, but it has increased my confidence in doing anything physical.
On my hands and knees begging adults to allow children to engage in risk play.
And by risk play I don't mean handing them a gun and playing Russian Roulette.
I mean like climbing trees, getting so sick spinning on the swing they throw up, balancing on the curb, sitting in the mud, walking on slippery surfaces, building half ass ramps to ride their bike over, standing on rocks, or anything that involves a smidgen of confidence and out of the box thinking that could result in injury.
Obviously like watch your kids and such, but when we talk about the fun of being an 80s or 90s kid, it's not just talking about CDs and Walkmans or not having iPads. It's about how kids today were robbed of critical learning and experience skills we were allowed to have.
Playgrounds disappearing, helicopter parents, and sue culture really destroyed a child's development in the United States, and I think it's about time we as adults recognize that, because the kids sure have.
