Please...

Save our lives ๐Ÿšจ๐Ÿšจ

โ€œEvery day I lose my beautiful daysโ€ฆ and I die in this war.โ€ ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ’”

I'm not okay.

I don't sleep, I don't eat, I don't breathe like other people do.

I just count what's left of me... and wait.

Will I die today? ๐Ÿ˜ญ

Will a missile fall on me and end this pain once and for all?

Will I lose my son, still swimming in my belly, searching for a beating heart, a small dream, a chance to survive?

But I have nothing for himโ€ฆ no milk, no roof, no safetyโ€ฆ only my fear. ๐Ÿ’”

Yesterday, I saw in my dream a child reaching out his hand to me, saying, "Mom, save me."

I woke up screaming...

But no one heard me.๐Ÿ’”

There's no room in my body for bullets, but war resides in my eyes, in my womb, in my silence, in every heartbeat I hear from inside my belly. Even hope no longer visits me, even prayer has become faint. ๐Ÿ’”

Please...

Help me before I become another silence on this weary earth.

Help me before this child loses his mother... just as I lost everything.

Help Asmaa evacuate her family and treat her husband abroad
Chuffed
I am Michelle from Greece, and I am running a campaign for Asmaa. Please consider donating if you can to help them.

Also, my husband is between life and death and I am helpless ๐Ÿ’”

I am the wife of a man who was never just a husbandโ€ฆ He was my support, my hope, and my everything in this cruel world. And today, as I write these words, my heart breaks for him as he battles his illness without medicine, without a hospital bed, and without even the reassurance of peace.

My husband has severe pneumonia, and hepatitis is eating away at his body day after day. His ability to breathe is no longer what it used to be, and his chest pain wakes him up terrified. As for me, all I can do is wipe away his sweat and hide my tears.๐Ÿ˜ญ

I watch my loved one wither away in front of me, and I don't have the money, the support, or even a safe place to rest my head. We count his breaths in prayer, hoping he'll hold on for another day... that someone will come... that someone will hear us. ๐Ÿ’”๐Ÿ˜ญ

I appeal to those with compassionate hearts, those who have the ability to help, do not delay. A human life is in your hands, and my husband does not need much, just hope... just medicine... just a chance to live.

A Plea to Save My Family from the Horrors of War

I studied Information Technology and earned my bachelorโ€™s degree, working for a private company for some time. But when the war in Gaza erupted, the company stopped operating and was completely destroyed, leaving me without a job and no place to work ๐Ÿ’”.

As the bombing intensified and the violence escalated, we were forced to flee our beautiful home, which was completely destroyed, to the city of Rafah in southern Gaza. We lived in a small tent barely a few meters wide, but even that was not enough. We were forced to flee again to central Gaza, where we now live in a school for displaced people, moving from one place to another without knowing when this tragic journey will end ๐Ÿ’”๐Ÿš๏ธ.

Ghada's Journey From Gaza:
Ghada's Journey From Gaza:

My father, Nabil, who is 62 years old, used to own an aluminum workshop, but it was destroyed during the war. My mother, Fatima, 57 years old, faces daily struggles with the lack of electricity and the closure of bakeries. At their age, my parents suffer greatly from the constant displacement and the challenges of moving from place to place ๐Ÿšถโ€โ™‚๏ธ๐Ÿšถโ€โ™€๏ธ.

Ghada's Journey From Gaza:

My younger brother, Khaled, 23 years old, graduated with a bachelorโ€™s degree in accounting and worked at a contracting company before the war took away his job and shattered his dreams. Despite this, Khaled now bears the responsibility of providing for our basic needs like food and water, trying to keep our family afloat under these harsh conditions ๐Ÿž๐Ÿ’ง.

Ghada's Journey From Gaza:

Ghada's Journey From Gaza:

I also have two married brothers, Mohamed and Ahed, who live with us in the same displacement location with their children (Lama, Nabil, and Amir) and (Fatima, Eman, and Noor). The children, having lost their toys and games, have found some joy playing with the pets ๐Ÿพ, trying to find happiness in the darkest of times.

Ghada's Journey From Gaza:

But the bitter reality is that we are living in an uninhabitable environment. Diseases and insects are widespread, and sewage water floods the area around us. The children, who should be focused on learning and playing, now suffer from malnutrition and disease. Recently, the spread of the polio virus among them has only added to their pain and suffering ๐Ÿฆ ๐Ÿ˜”.

Ghada's Journey From Gaza:

Life here no longer meets basic human dignity. We live without clean water, without a home, without even the basics of survival. Our children have no education, no toys, no new clothes, not even shoes to protect their feet. Skin diseases, malnutrition, and polluted water and food are our daily reality. We are living in inhumane conditions in every sense of the word, and we beg you not to forget us ๐Ÿ™.

Ghada's Journey From Gaza:

All we hope for now is to find safety, to not die before we can escape or move to a safer place. But even that simple right seems impossible. We need your help to raise the money needed to cross the Rafah border between Gaza and Egypt, where the coordination cost for one person ranges between $5,000 and $7,000.

We are trying to hold on to hope ๐ŸŒŸ, trying our best to find safety for ourselves and our children. With your support, we might just achieve that. Every share of this story, every donation, every bit of help can make a huge difference.

Help Khalid Sisters in Gaza not to be Homeless

Hello Dear,

We, (Najwa, Jana, Farah, and Maryam), are the sisters of Shaheed Khalid Saed Ash-Shawwah, who was martyred on 07/31/24 along with Al Jazeera correspondent Ismail Al-Ghoul and his colleague, photographer Rami Al-Rifi . Khalid was our older and only brother and he was a great support for us and others. As you may heard Khalidโ€™s story in the news, he was bombed while he was riding his bicycle coming back from delivering food to our old and injured neighbors.

Before the IDF forces killed our brother Khalid, they forced us to evacuate our house and left everything behind. They then destroyed our house and our fatherโ€™s restaurant. We had to move at least 10 times since every new area we seek refuge to gets bombed.

Help Khalid Sisters In Gaza Not To Be Homeless

Currently, the 4 of us and our parents, are living devastating and sad life in a bombed room in Gaza. It is extremely difficult for us to get the basic needs of food, water, and shelter.

Help Khalid Sisters In Gaza Not To Be Homeless

We sincerely hope you can empathize with our dire situation and consider supporting us. We are raising funds in order to be able to pay the rising cost of basic necessities in north Gaza. Our family is large and the cost of survival in north Gaza is astronomical. If you have anything you can spare, we implore you to support us. From where you are right now, you personally can help save our lives in north Gaza.

Please donate and/or replog ๐Ÿฅบ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡ธ

ok last thing. but what people fundamentally need to get through their heads is the significance of gaza fundraisers not being the same as like mutual aid when you're helping someone get groceries, because it is a genocide. there is insane deliberate scarcity and prices are unmanageable, because there is nowhere nearly enough for everyone, so only people who can pay can eat. and what positioning individual fundraisers as the only course of action does is quite simply give a tiny percentage of random people whose fundraisers take off the ability to pay those prices while thousands of others can't. and every one of those thousands of people without a fundraiser is suffering through the same inconceivably horrific reality. it is giving a few completely desperate people out of hundreds of thousands a slightly more favorable position in a horrific war economy of imposed scarcity. and what grassroots community kitchens do is try to mitigate in some small way that inconceivable hierarchy of who can pay and who can't, by stretching ingredients as far as they can last to cook meals at large scale and give them out at no cost. and obviously people are still going to send money to their friends and families because this is hell what else are we supposed to do but please just think about that before promoting endless individual fundraisers as somehow the most ethical way to help
