Getting Started: The Seven Laws of Magic

Magic is an inherently mysterious thing but there is a strange logic to its nature. Describing said nature is a difficult thing. How does one describe something that can never truly be known?

The answer for most of history? poorly. Practitioners of the arcane arts are not known for straightforward explanations. I will do my best to explain the basic mechanics:

The Law of Contagion: Once together, always together. The part of the thing is the whole of the thing. By performing magic on a strand of your hair, one can effect your entire body. The more intimate the connection, the more powerful the effect. A cigarette butt you smoked will have almost no effect, but a phial of your blood will be extremely effective. Magic using this law is known as Thaumaturgy.

The Law of Sympathy: Like attracts like. The image is the thing. A drawing or representation of something can gain its properties. A photo or drawing of you will have a similar thaumaturgical connection to you. Combining sympathy and contagion is the basis for poppet magic.

The Law of Correspondence: As Above, So Below. The gods are like us and we are like them. When viewed closely, atoms resemble solar systems. The big effects the small. The idea that there is a sort of harmony between similar patterns no matter their size. This is the basis behind astrological magic.

The Law of Resistance: Some things are more magically conductive than other things. Everything exists on a spectrum of “magical“ to “mundane“ and the less magic something is, the harder it is to effect with magic. The same extends to people who, for whatever the reason, simply have a harder time being interacting with magic. 

The Law of Balance: Magic seeks equilibrium, and therefore, every magical action has a cost. No magical act takes place without some sort of power behind it. Energy will not move unless something is moving it, be it a practitioner or the natural energy of the moon. A body in motion will stay in motion, a body at rest will stay at rest unless acted upon by an outside force.

The Law of Reciprocity: If you don’t know where its pointed, its pointed at you. If it doesn’t have enough energy, it will get get energy from you. The process of getting hit with your own improperly constructed spell is known as Recoil. Safe practice often involves setting up wards to act as a barrier between you and any mistakes.

The Law of Reversal: That which is done by magic can be undone by magic. For every spell there is a counterspell, for every ritual a counterritual. Every ward can be hexed, every curse can be dispelled. This does not mean countermeasure will be easy or efficient.

Faerie doors are portals into the faeries realms. You can find them hidden within the roots, molded into the frame of an elder tree. The faerie doors are found within the woods either near mossy grounds or near water. On your next nature walk keep an eye open for the faerie doors. These magical portals are found by those the faeries trust.

When you first started working with deities were you scared? How did you know if they wanted to work with you? How do you communicate?

I was definitely scared and nervous when I first started working with them! I wasn't sure if they were even real and when I did get more secure in that, I didn't want to offend them or say something wrong. It can be really nerve-wracking but you get used to it!

As for how I know they wanted to work with me, I know this may sound a little weird if you're not spiritual or not used to practicing spirituality or even religion, but I just "knew". Kind of like how I know for a fact that 2+2=4, I also know when they're around or if I'm talking to them. I think it really helps to be confident in your own skills and knowledge here!

Communication with deities is different for everyone! For me, I literally just talk to them in my head. I'm not super comfortable speaking out loud to them (and they know that), so I speak to them in my head and I get a general feeling for what their response is. A simple example would be me saying something like "hello!", and then getting a feeling of them greeting me in return! There are tons of ways to communicate with them though, including prayers, tarot cards, pendulums, offerings, written words, spoken words, music, etc. While there are definitely classic ways to communicate, in modern times, there really is no right or wrong way as long as you're respectful!

firstly, decide what you want. it can be anything. LITERALLY. go wild. you're limitless, you can get anything. don't think about the how or shit. you want something? you'll get it. okay, now that you've decided it. let's go to the next step!

okay, so i want you to choose an affirmation that implies you have/will get your desire. if you're struggling with choosing one, just go with, "i already have what i want." that's more than enough!

now close your eyes, and just visualize/feel how you would be living your life if you had what you want. and when you visualize/feel, i want you all to vividly do that. use all your senses, and it's okay if you can't visualize is 1st person, doesn't matter. use some music if you want (you all can ask me for song reccs, I AM A PRO AT THAT!). don't think of anything else, throw away your doubts. for some time, immerse yourself in your little daydream. feel that gush of emotion flowing through you. you can do this for as long as you want. after you're done, open your eyes.

now, repeat that affirmation for some times. don't just repeat it like a robot. do it with feeling. that affirmation will be your reality in seconds!! remember that. affirm once or twice or any times, but do it with some feeling.

now that you're done, i want you to close your eyes and tell yourself how powerful you are. basically self concept stuff, just motivate yourself by saying things like i'm the god, i have the power to change my reality in literally seconds. nothing can stop me, everything is possible for me. just say stuff like these, and remind yourself that the moment you open your eyes, you're gonna see what you want in the 3d. that means you're gonna have whatever you want once you open your eyes.

DONE! THAT'S IT! CONGRATULATIONS, YOU HAVE WHAT YOU WANT!!

now, even if you don't see your results (which is HIGHLY unlikely to happen) persist! please, don't give up. assume that whenever you feel like giving up, that's a sign you're one step away from getting what you want. just do it. i know it sounds stupid, but who cares. GOD ISN'T STUPID AND GOD IS YOU!

this works only if you assume it does. so it really just depends on you. it might sound to good to be true, but once you murder logic and bury it, it'll be a piece of cake for you. manifestation is easy. you don't even have to do all of this, this post is for people who think methods really help them! you're so damn powerful, and your 3d is malleable, it doesn't have any power. nobody has power but YOU. you wanna live your dream life, isn't it? so don't give up. this post WILL help you, i promise. if it doesn't, bully me or whatever.

Different anon but can you meet someone in the 5D and then... not remember it? I've seen a few people talk about how some might not remember meeting someone in the 5D but from what you're saying it sounds like you need to already have had your awakening and be pretty far into it actually. So I'm just confused I guess, that you'd be at such a level but still not remember what happens in the 5D?

Also, if you're not there yet, like not fully awakened, can you still meet other souls in the 5D? Or is that something that's reserved for people who already know stuff? I'm sorry, I'm just trying to understand how all of this works

yes absolutely!! that happens to me a lot, not remembering what happen it's totally normal, for my own experience, it's like, i know i communicate with my twin the whole night,, but when i wake up i remember a few details or i just don't remember anything at all,, but the feeling is there

also, there's no need to have an awakening -yet- because our souls are constantly communicating through the 5d realm, even as kids we can have such experiences when we remember random 5d experiences, having an awakening is more like, something that will help you grow spiritually, it surely will help you to connect in the 5d more easily, and by doing meditations and raising our vibrations it will help you remember more easily
