“The Will Live A Long, Happy, And Healthy Life”
A sigil meant to be used on somebody other than yourself. Draw/Paint/Whatever this sigil on to a picture of your target and keep it somewhere safe.
summing up all of my posts, in one phrase: discipline will get you places.
humans are creatures of habit. if all you’ve been used to your whole life is speaking negatively to yourself, procrastinating on projects, not setting priorities, ignoring responsibilities, not putting the quality of your life first, you can’t expect to move mountains if you refuse to continue on a new path you set for yourself. no one is saying it’s going to be an easy, pretty, pink sparkly process but stop making it a habit to give up after something goes wrong or a mistake is made. this is not a race or a graded assignment that needs to be perfect, this is life; a personal journey. stop thinking that failure is fatal. it’s nothing but an opportunity to learn and grow. that is how you become successful. you have the chance to live the life you dream of. it’s up to you to get up and keeping going. make that choice time and time again no matter what it takes. you can do this.
What kind of things should i write down when i record my tarot pulls? like obviously the day and the cards, but are there other things i should write that might be useful?
The date
The deck or decks you used
Why you're doing this reading
What you asked/thought before pulling cards
Cards you pulled
How you pulled them, was it purposeful or did the card fall out, ect
If the cards were upright or reversed
If you do a more complex spread, list the exact positions of the cards, draw a chart if necessary
If the cards have been pulled in other readings, if so list when & any thoughts you have on what that might mean
Patterns & little noteworthy things, were there cards of the same number or suit? Were two cards looking at each other? ect.
Overall meanings of the cards
Meanings, words or lines from a guide book that stuck out to you
What you specifically think they mean/intuitive feelings you got about what they mean for you
Just some ideas! All of this has gone into my notes before & I've found it very useful.
Hello! How are you?
how do I begin working with deities and do you recommend it? Also do you know where I can learn more about it?
There are a lot of different deities so your first step should be to figure out who you want to work with. Recognizing that some cultures are barred from anyone outside of that culture is also pretty important!
If you're talking about the Greek deities specifically, this post is a great start! From there, this site is pretty commonly used! And of course wikipedia is a great place if you can't find anything else :)
When it comes to "do i recommend it"... it really depends on you. It's not for everyone, sometimes that's personal preference and sometimes people just aren't comfortable with it. If you're genuinely interested in it then I'd say go for it! Do what you can to learn about which deity/deities you want to work with, how to work with them, and how to incorporate them into your life. Look for signs of communication from them, learn how to communicate with them, always be respectful, and you know... just go from there!
our last day together.
