Some tips I’ve learned along my path.
✨Make a vision board on Pinterest with things you want!
✨Be grateful! There are so many things we can be grateful for, so write it down or say it in your head/out loud
✨I prefer not using specific time like “…by Tuesday” etc. Use “in divine/perfect timing” instead. The Universe is always working to get you want you desire, so trust that everything will come at the right time when you are truly ready for it!
✨Scripting is very powerful and fun way to manifest! Don’t forget to write in present tense (I am, I have…). Do not use I want, I need etc.
✨Connect with the moon and do new moon rituals! New moon is the best for new beginnings and setting intentions.
✨When asking for money, use the phrase “money comes to me by happy means” or something similar. You need to be specific, because otherwise you could receive money through some bad accident or something unpleasant.
Tips for Manifesting PART 2
items:
- storm (or rain) water
- freshwater shell (I used an apple snail shell, but a something like a mussel or other shell would work. if you don't have one sub with a saltwater/estuarine shell and see how it goes!)
- Any charm that you can hang, preferably one that invokes imagery/symbolism of water or rain
- 2 more shells (salt or fresh. I used ones with open faces)
- silver bell
- sea glass (blues and greens)
- salt (epsom or sea salt preferred)
- large/medium feather of a water fowl (grey or white preferred)
- clear quartz (optional)
- offering dish (optional, really for presentation and clean up)
prep:
1. Set up the freshwater shell on the offering dish (or table) and keep it stable with a ring of sea glass (optional: single clear quartz or clear sea glass at front).
2. Place the charm in the shell with rope/thread/ribbon draping towards you.
3. Place the silver bell at the "north" of the dish (imagine the dish as a compass) and place your other two shells on either side of it.
4. Put the feather in front of you with the quill end nearest to your dominant hand.
5. Have the salt in a small container you can pinch into.
ritual:
1. Breathe deeply 3 times with eyes closed to center yourself. You can also create a circle or do any other grounding exercises at this time.
2. Make a circle around the inner rim of the offering dish (or table) with the salt and get this meaning across with words: "salt, mineral of the oceans, protector and cleanser"
3. Pick up the feather and stir the energies to the metaphorical north (treat the offering dish like a compass). I did this with my eyes closed as it lessens distractions. You will repeat this action for each cardinal direction and get this meaning across in order:
"I beckon rain from the North, to soak the rich earth"
"I beckon rain from the East, aided by its winds for a swift arrival"
"I beckon rain from the South, as the heat of is your creator, and it is the heat you will abate"
"I beckon rain from the West, as all waters merge and must complete their cycle"
I find it important to use "will" rather than might/should as to bolster the confidence behind your intentions. Feel free to alter and add to this wording as much as you like for it is already loose and use this time to invoke any specific deities or spirits as I did not.
4. Place the feather down gently, breathe, and say "after I have rung this bell 3 times, whenever I hang this charm where the sky can see, it will intice rain for as long as it hangs" (be thoughtful of wording and your intentions here, loopholes are very easy to accidentally create, so set clear parameters that aren't too outrageous)
5. Ring the bell with steady motions. It's important that you get 3 clear rings, so if you try to ring it once but the sound isn't great, try until you have 3 satisfactory chimes.
6. Once you have placed the bell back down, close your circle or breathe to realign any energies.
And that's about it! I tried this today and we got a good spell of rain (with thunder and everything!) even though there was no predictions for it this whole week. I'm hesitant to do a spell for storms as I live in a hurricane-prone region and it's that time of year, but feel free to replace "rain" with "storm" or whatever wording feels specific to what you desire. I kept the wordings here intentionally vague/loose because it's important to use words that you mean something to you.
Let me know if you try this and get anything out of it, or how you changed it! It's the first spell I've posted here so I'm interested to know.
A: The thing that still hurts you
B: Advice
shuffle and draw as you usually do
the first card is about your wound. it's something that still hurts you to this day, either consciously or subconsciously. it can have a great impact on your current life or a smaller one, however, aspects of this still linger and influence you.
the second card is a suggestion. something that may help you work through it or slowly come to terms with it. it can be a piece of advice or a thought to remind yourself of, a message about it, or a piece of general advice on how to deal with the influence of this old wound.
personally, I tend to go by suit. with a cup card, my old wound would be related to emotions or relationships, with a sword card, it may have been an argument, my thoughts, someone else's thoughts/opinions, criticism, or problems that left a mark on me.
A: Four of Pentacles
B: Star
Depending on how you usually read the cards, this can have multiple interpretations (read: more than just these two I wrote out here)
Possibility 1)
The way I personally read, I'd say this is about someone who had to be very careful with money in the past, someone who had very little and needed to hold onto their resources tightly all the time. It may prompt them to stick with this behavior, even if their situation might have changed by now. To me, the star signals letting go of this, trusting a bit more that times changed and that they don't need to hold on so tightly anymore, that they can give themselves a nice little thing once in a while.
Possibility 2)
Another way would be to say that the first card is about someone clingy, someone who is afraid to give room to people or things because they might leave then. someone who is afraid to lose something
and with the star there, the message wouldn't change much from the previous one, but perhaps, the focus would be more on "trust it will be alright" because the star is always a positive omen and a signal that hope and faith are needed to overcome something.

After a rough couple months of mental health, all my wards and shields kinda… fell by the wayside. Since I’ve been putting them back up, I thought I’d offer a general explanation of how I do it.
Basically, I use a form of sympathetic magic to reduce the toll my wards take on me. Otherwise it has to be an obnoxiously complex multi day process. Since this works just as well, I don’t see the point in putting myself through that.
So clearly it comes in handy if you have limited energy reserves, but it’s also useful if you have issues visualizing. I’ve included another method to make this work specifically for folks with visualization issues.
Supplies
All you need is a few writing utensils in assorted colors and some paper, or an image editing program. It doesn’t need to be a fancy one, you can literally do this in Paint if that’s what you’ve got.
The Prep Work
For the sake of convenience (and also not publicly posting my actual house on the internet like a dingus) I’m gonna be using a random Sims 3 lot for this post. Say hi to our demo house:
We’ve got the house, so now we’re gonna map the place!
If your place is on its own lot, include the whole lot. I like to do this from a top down view so if I’m struggling I can go to Google Earth and get a reference.
But since I’m using the Sims for this demonstration I’m gonna just… shift the camera angle.
So, from here you’re going to mark off the property line, walls of the house, trees, gardens, paths, frences, decks, etc. Whatever you think is relevant.
It doesn’t have to be perfect or 100 percent straight, just enough you can tell what’s going on.
This is what I ended up with for the demo house:
So yeah, clearly it doesn’t have to be perfect, just close enough you have everything of importance covered.
This is a lot sloppier than I’d normally do it since it was like 5 AM and I wanted my bed, but it would still work because I don’t really do a ton with plants so the missing tree and chunk of garden aren’t a big deal to me.
(That said, be smarter than me when you’re doing this for realsies. Don’t do it for real when you’re about to drop from exhaustion.)
So, now you set up your external protections.
For this exercise I picked a fire based ward for the property line to incinerate malicious magic and deter anybody nasty, a ward filler that was inspired by Apollo and made up of golden arrows that will sap the strength of malicious magic and cause extreme discomfort to people with less than honorable intentions who got through the first ward, a fog based ward to slow/delay any intruders and to hold any magic that gets through the rest of it till it dissipates, and a sanitization ward at the front porch and the back deck because I’m an empath and don’t like taking residual crud from outside into my house.
You can set these up in a few ways, but I’ll be including one with visualization and one without so this doesn’t get any longer than it already is.
The Procedure: Visualization Edition
Drag your finger along the lines of the diagram and visualize the ward going up on that part of your property. While you do, focus on what you want your ward to look like, how it feels, what you want it to do, how strong you want it to be, where you want it how you want it to react to an attempted breach, etc. That’s it!
It’s still going to take energy, but the drain on your resources should be a lot smaller.
The Procedure: Not Visualizing Edition
So, this is a little more complicated but not too much so. You might want to make a few copies of your diagram (or take a couple pictures on your phone. Just in general replicate it a couple of times.) just in case, because you’re gonna draw your wards.
Grab some pens/pencils/markers in colors that correspond to your wards (or pick colors in your graphics program if you’re going the tech magic route)- elemental affinity, purpose, both, up to you.
Using my example wards, I ended up with this:
Since you’re not visualizing, focus on the intent as effectively as you can while you’re drawing, because you’re gonna speak (or think!) those suckers into existence.
Describe what you want it to look like, what you’d want it to do, how strong you want it to be, where you want it how you want it to react to an attempted breach, etc. All the same things you’d be visualizing if you were going that route.
If you’re confident in your art skills, you can save a bit of energy by not focusing as much on what you want it to look like and drawing a direct representation of your ward instead. (I’m not fantastic, so I’m sitting there adding stuff like “this red line is a wall of fire taller than the house” into my description. Still works!)
This is a little less energy efficient than the visualization method in my experience but it’s still heaps better than doing it all on a large scale.
So that’s the process! It’s the same deal inside your place, except instead of rocks, trees, and decks you’ll be marking windows, doors, and furniture.
Feel free to modify the method here however you see fit, and if you do I’d love to hear about it!
Once again I was inspired by the coziness of Ghibli films to make a hearty soup!
I’m calling this one Forest Porridge 🍂💕
(Vegetarian and vegan substitution at the end!)
Melt a tablespoon of butter in a skillet. To the skillet add one diced sweet onion, Cook on medium heat until onions begin to become translucent. Then add 1 pound of mushrooms to the skillet (stems removed) and continue cooking until the mushrooms release their moisture.
In a soup pot melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Add three carrots and two ribs of celery, sliced, three or four diced red potatoes (more or less to your preference) and cook over medium heat until tender (about eight minutes).
Add three cloves of minced garlic and 1.5 teaspoons of dried thyme and 1 teaspoon of dried basil to the skillet with the onions and cook for about a minute, stirring.
Add onion mushroom mixture to the soup pot along with 6 cups of chicken broth and one cup of rice (I used jasmine). Cover, bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer 30 minutes.
In the skillet you used for the onions cook two diced chicken thighs until golden brown.
Add the chicken and any drippings to the soup pot to simmer with the rest for the remainder of the 30 minutes.
Finally, mix in 1 cup half-and-half, 1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese, and 1 to 2 cups chopped fresh spinach.
Salt and pepper the absolute hell out of it, to taste but anything with potatoes and needs boatloads of salt.
Enjoy!
For a vegetarian variation swap chicken broth for vegetable broth and omit the chicken, omit the parmesan cheese or use a vegetarian/vegan substitute.
For a vegan variation swap butter for preferred oil or vegan butter, chicken broth for vegetable broth, omit the chicken, use one can of full fat coconut milk in place of the half-and-half and omit the parmesan cheese or use a vegetarian/vegan substitute.
Hey, it’s the next part of my jar spell series! Warding and protection is super duper important when working with witchcraft and spirits in general. I designed these spells specifically for strong protection and I charged them with the specific intent I wanted. This little bottle can be jam packed with power if you charge it well, and the larger the capsule is, the more you can get.
For this spell, I used…
crushed bay leaves (protection, psychic power)
sea salt (purification, cleansing, protection)
sage herb (purification, psychic power, protection)
cloves powder (protection, banishing hostile forces)
rosemary herb (purification, psychic power)
peridot chips (strength)
tigers eye chips (protection & strength)
amethyst chips (purification, cleansing)
turquoise chips (protection, wards off psychic attack)
Feel free to use as many of these ingredients or as few as you like; substitute items, replace them, and add your own! Let me know how it goes ❤️❤️
