I'm searching for a short nickname for my own. It don't have to be a real word or name. If you have something in mind that could fit, feel free to send me a message.

It's just course,,,i'm really struggling with the names/nicknames that i have,,,nothing seems to fit.

The Science of Deduction - Sherlock’s Blog

Friendly heads up to whomever it may concern. 

It seems that as of this year, the BBC has not renewed the domain to our poor buddy Sherlock’s blog, The Science of Deduction (http://thescienceofdeduction.co.uk/). Now really no one is going to read it. Don’t tell him.

If you remember, it looked like this:

John’s blog, (http://johnwatsonblog.co.uk), is still up and running (and even Molly’s blog and Connie Prince’s site are… who knows) but I can’t help but wonder for how much longer if this has been the case for Sherlock’s.

As a result of these events, I’ve created a “copy” of sorts (the best closest I could) of Sherlock’s blog here on tumblr for anyone who may ever just want to go back and check it out. Felt it was sort of my duty, in a weird way. There are some pretty funny comment exchanges in his forum, including his sort-of liveblog when John made him watch James Bond.

Share the word if you like so that anyone who might be interested out there has a way of knowing, and maybe read up on John’s Blog as a precaution. You never know, they might put Sherlock’s back up some day. But I feel like having a back up wouldn’t hurt, no matter what. Thanks!

P.S. Keep in mind I really just made this copy to match on a desktop computer what Sherlock’s blog site looked like. While you can view it on mobile, viewing the blog in the Tumblr App will basically be non-functional. Open it in a web browser to really look at it.

PSA:

Out of my own paranoia due to Sherlock’s BBC Official blog being taken down (The Science of Deduction) and sentimentality in regards to all things Sherlock and John, along with the nostalgia within these blogs, I went ahead and created a back-up of John’s Blog as well.

I figured that given the fact that the BBC hasn’t renewed the server for Sherlock’s blog, that I can only assume it’s a matter of time before John’s is gone, as well.

Plus, John’s blog has a lot more content than Sherlock’s so I knew it was going to be a process to copy it all. Keep in mind that of course, my copy isn’t going to be identical but it should still have everything written on the original blog (plus a few things that vanished from the “official” one; aka Sherlock’s hat photo and the hit counter). The dates also appear sort of odd because I couldn’t work them into the theme to match John’s, but I’ve still included them so you know when the entries were posted.

Reminder: These blogs are designed to be viewed on a desktop or in a web browser only. They are essentially non-functioning and unable of being navigated within the tumblr app.

Enjoy and feel free to ask any questions and point out any mistakes to me! (Except typos. Any typos you see were in the OG blogs and I felt it only right to include them :) )

P.S. I’m not going to bother making backup copies of Molly’s and Connie Prince’s blogs. If you would like to then I encourage you to do it and let me know so I can update my links accordingly.
