heavily debating on having a side-clangen-blog using the Dark Forest Challenge rules... Would anyone be interested in that? I will say that updates would be a bit slower between tidalclan and the dark-forest blog but if no one minds that then why not right
Wonder what would happen if Shade, Light, and Cold saw familiar faces surviving among the other clans at their first Gathering

Map of TidalClan's territory and the neighbouring Clans!
More details about the different Clans and landmarks can be found below the cut
*Friendly Note: Any Clans that share names with existing ClanGen comics/runs are completely coincidental.
TidalClan’s Camp is made up against the furthest cliff point along the coastline. Surrounded by a rugged ring of stones, the cliff face holds two small caves, one being the Medicine Den and the other being the Elder’s Den, providing a dry spot away from the wind. The Nursery is nestled outside the Medicine Den, protected by tall stones and bound reeds. The Warriors and Apprentices’ Dens are on either side of the entrance, made of moss and seaweed. The Leader’s Den is a hollowed out tree jutting out of a cluster of stones. It’s also used by the leader to call for meetings. At the center of camp is a shallow tidepool, allowing kits to play and get used to water early.
Most of the territory consists of sandy beaches and shallow ocean waters. The cats that live along the coast often take whatever the ocean offers, be it seaweed for bedding or medical uses, fish for prey, or shells and the like for decoration. Along the west side of the territory is the river run-off, where the river flows to the sea. Beyond it is a small camp used by Twolegs during Greenleaf and early Leaf-Fall. Groups of visiting Twolegs come in monsters off the Thunderpath, build great fires and remain on the beach until midnight before returning. Beyond the sand is grassland below the Thunderpath and the cliffs overlooking the sea. The cliffs are patrolled with caution due to its steep fall.

CycloneClan’s Camp is made up on the side of a small hill, bordered by thick bushes and thickets. Most of the dens consist of dug-out burrows. The Leader’s den is a dug-out hollow directly underneath the Low Stone, a flat stone where the leader makes their meetings.
CycloneClan’s territory consists of a flat valley with long grasses. CycloneClan cats have adapted to using the long grass to hide themselves during hunts or battles. East of camp is a well-known flower patch that blooms each year called The Sun Patch. It provides the medicine cat with some flowery herbs and decorations for CycloneClan cats. Additionally, CycloneClan cats know flowers attract bees, and the bravest of them follow the pollinators back to their hive to collect honeycomb for kits. Their territory stretches beyond the Thunderpath to the top of the cliffs overlooking the coast, but the territory is rarely used due to the obvious dangers. To the west is the river, where interactions with RumbleClan are common.
RumbleClan Camp is made out of an eroded sinkhole. Gaps in the hard earth and thick bushes allow for dens for the nursing queens, apprentices and warriors. A ring of thickets and pine trees make it difficult to attack the camp from above the sinkhole, making it one of the most protected out of the other Clan camps.
RumbleClan territory consists of shorter grasslands, forests, and rocky terrain. The range of different areas makes for various hunting skills, with some warriors preferring the open terrain while others hunt in the undergrowth. To the northeast of camp lies the Rabbit Hills. Apprentices are taken there to learn how to hunt rabbits in the abandoned burrows, and taught how to tell if a predator has moved in. The Sun Stones are a cluster of stones near the river in the east. They make for a relaxing spot during the warmer seasons, and a good place to find small prey. Like CycloneClan, they also have a patch of territory past the Thunderpath to the south, but it is patrolled with caution.
The Gathering Tree: A tall, gnarled oak tree that stands close to the river, surrounded by stones. The Clan cats have used this place as a gathering site for generations, discussing clan news under the truce of a Full Moon.
Star’s Rest: Star's Rest is a small meteor crashsite. The meteor is still there, nestled in the earth. Cats who come to Star’s Rest press their nose against the warped stone before falling asleep close to it, where they then meet with their StarClan ancestors. The Elders share many different tales as to what the meteor is and how it got there, ranging from the meteor being a piece of the moon carved by StarClan themselves, to an exiled StarClan spirit imprisoned in stone
The Thunderpath: A long stretch of road that cuts through RumbleClan and CycloneClan’s southern territories. Monsters don’t pass by often, so cats don’t completely avoid it. However, it is no less dangerous and has taken more than one life in the past.
The Burn: The former territory belonged to BlazeClan. In its prime, it was a lush, green forest filled with undergrowth and strong trees. Perfect for BlazeClan cats, who were adept climbers and stalkers. However, a fire had mysteriously started in the forest, and spread quickly. BlazeClan was swallowed up in the flames, and all that remained were ashes. While the forest is starting to regrow in time, the damage is severe, and there will be less tree cover than there used to be. CycloneClan has been eyeing the territory as of late…

Ooc- what was Shadestar's warrior name in-game? :3c
Shadefoot! I imagine if things had turned out differently, she would have been given her suffix for her stealth
moon 16 part 1.

If you see this on your dashboard, reblog this, NO MATTER WHAT and all your dreams and wishes will come true.
What exactly happened to make Shade, Light, and Cold leave their previous clan?
So obviously I didnt answer these questions right away because I knew the comic would answer these questions later on. So sorries for the probably very late reply, but here's the written version since we've not gotten to that point.
Back when Shadestar was a 'paw in BlazeClan, she unexpectedly received a very disturbing dream. She doesn't remember it very well, but there were voices speaking, and the scent of smoke and seasalt. Thinking it might've been from StarClan, Shadepaw approached their medic cat, Duckcry. Duckcry was shocked to hear Shadepaw had such a dream and was immediately brought to Thornstar. In their private meeting, Shadepaw learned that both Duckcry and Thornstar have had the same dream. But while Duckcry urged to heed the warning, Thornstar dismissed it completely. He demanded that neither cats tell anyone about it, even threatening to punish them.
Unable to truly ignore the dream, Shadepaw convinced Lightpaw to follow her. As they snuck out of camp, the only kit born in the season, Coldkit, had followed them out. Shadepaw wasn't able to convince her to go back, and decided to lead the two cats out of BlazeClan territory, towards the sea.
She had always planned to return if she was wrong about the dream. But when she received her nine lives and heard the voices again, she had a feeling that this new arrangement was permanent. And when she saw the dark smoke in the sky, there was no doubt that BlazeClan was destroyed.
She still doesn't know why she received the dream, or why Thornstar denied a warning from StarClan, but she doesn't believe it was StarClan's will to see BlazeClan destroyed. She firmly believes they were trying to warn them.
A blog dedicated to my unhealthy obsession for pixelated cats! Things may go horribly wrong or horribly right, so grab your seatbelts
