Finally finished all the Prime Decepticons!!
You and me, we’re more ghosts than people…
So basically…. Ghost Rider Arthur Morgan…. Been working on this on and off lately… And its DONE..!! God I’m so proud of this. Boys this LIGHTING. It KILLED me. But it came out SO GOOD. Enjoy guys!!
I’m never going to write this but I am so very intrigued by the concept of platonic!Jeyna in Tartarus and thought you guys might appreciate so:
-No idea what exactly the context here is but Reyna ends up following the Seven across the ocean a bit sooner than she does in canon and helps out during the end of MoA and she’s the one who ends up dangling over Tartarus
-And yes it absolutely has to be Jason coming to Reyna’s aid for the fall. Because it’s already established she’d do anything for him. She crossed an ocean for him in canon. But Jason’s whole thing since this all started has been that he chose Leo and Piper over Reyna/CHB over Camp Jupiter (or at least it felt that way to her). Their shared home isn’t his priority anymore. She isn’t his priority. She hasn’t been since he disappeared. She’s not expecting him to come to her aid.
-When she orders him to drop her, she expects him to listen like the proper Roman soldier that he should be. And then he doesn’t.
-There’s something very intriguing to me about the concept of “your only way to survive this situation is to trust a person with your life who you’re aware you’ve loved forever but who you don’t really know anymore”
-All his trust in her is muscle memory and all her trust in him is linked to a version of him that no longer exists. Least convenient place to get to know each other again!
Not super many thoughts on scenes but I do have two in mind:
1) at one point Reyna moves during a fight to cover Jason in a way that would have worked with CJ Jason but doesn’t with this one because his fighting style is more a mix of Greek and Roman now and one of them ends up hurt because of it
2) Jason is the one dealing with Akhlys and it startles Reyna really badly because she knows Jason goes off when necessary but seeing him so fiercely protective of her specifically in a way where he’s lost control entirely is both terrifying and pulling her right back to the moment when she killed her dad to protect Hylla. Potentially the thing that stops him is Reyna also losing control of her powers and having her terror bleed over into him.
I see a lot of posts taking about how Elphaba couldn’t believe someone like Fiyero would ever love her (because she’s been told she’s repulsive/unloveable her whole life). Like, why would a handsome prince who could have anyone he wanted chose her, the weird green girl?
But you know what I love even more? If Fiyero can’t believe Elphaba would want him.
Fiyero. Handsome, charming, a literal prince. Admired by all his classmates and landed the school’s it-girl, Galinda. No doubt has a bright future ahead regardless of how many schools he’s kicked out of because he’s at the height of wealth and privilege.
And he’s sulking around campus because he doesn’t think he’s good enough to date the green girl everyone dislikes.
After all, Elphaba is so smart and brave and beautiful despite what others say about her green skin. She doesn’t put on airs or act shallow like the other students do. She’s sharply perceptive, seeing right through him in a way that no else really has. She cares deeply about those in need and has the courage to do something about. She spat in the Wizard’s face, told him he has no real power, and ran off from a tempting offer for a better life in favor of doing what she knew was right. Despite her cold exterior, she’s never outright cruel to others despite how cruel others are to her. And on top of all that, she’s a once in a lifetime talent at sorcery.
She’s extraordinary. Why would she go for a shallow, brainless party boy like him? (He tells himself as she’s singing “I’m Not That Girl” elsewhere in the woods).
Still thinking about a fic idea where Dutch decides to break up the gang because Micah is whispering in his ear about the efficiencies of a smaller crew.
Not that Dutch would completely separate the gang. More like he has Hosea set up camp somewhere else while he and his "perfect crew" go on a robbing spree somewhere else. And slowly they visit the other camp less and less.
It would be the train robbery crew: Micah, Bill, Javier, Arthur, Lenny, and Charles. Dutch would be oblivious to the tension.
I really like that one pink Soundwave piece that floats around every now and then 😌 I don’t know who made it but I put my own lil twist into the pink recolor by changing it up a little mostly by giving him some lil hearts cuz I think that’s what he needs. Kill them with kindness, pink Soundwave 🩷 you got this
This is the thing I’m referencing; but I dunno who made it so if anyone happens to know I’d be glad to update this post with who made it 😌 (cuz from what I gathered it’s an edit. Probably? I dunno)
Concept: Percy and Leo are arguing over the whole burning of Camp Jupiter but their tiff is interrupted by a scream.
The two of them spring apart, instantly on guard and surveying the scene. But neither are prepared for the sight that takes their anger and turns it into sorrow.
Jason.
Jason Grace who had always been in the short time they’d known him, a pillar of strength. A picture perfect image of one who stay composed in any situation.
That picture shattering before all of their eyes as tears cascade down from his.
Jason’s hands grip the sides of the ship like he’s about to leap off. Yet his legs remain frozen in place. He doesn’t respond when they call his name.
For all his attention lays on the burning embers of the only home Jason has ever known. His whole frame shaking with tremors and sparks.
His mouth open whispering something that at first no one can identify. But soon realise is an apology he chants like a mantra.
“I’m sorry.”
“I’m sorry.”
“I’m sorry.”
Like the way a mother would sing her child a lullaby through a storm.
Leo almost wishes Jason would just turn around and start yelling at him for all of this. It would hurt sure but not as much as seeing him like this is.
Frank and Hazel are upset of course but Camp Jupiter didn’t mean the same thing to them as it did it Jason.
Piper is the first one to walk over and gently puts a hand on his shoulder. It gets his attention but oh does she wish it didn’t when Jason looks at her with haunted eyes.
“It’s all my fault” he whispers with shame colouring his words. She shakes her head, firmly “no no it’s not. It’s not anyone’s fault but those eidolons.”
Jason shakes his head as new tears well up in his eyes. He lifts a shaking hand to the wind that’s billowing around them.
“I can hear them…all of them blaming me.”
Sean: As ya best friend...
Arthur: You're not my best friend, Charles is my best fri-
Sean: AS YOUR BEST FRIEND
I wish the hoo books didn't erase the 'roman-ness' from jason completely just because he adapted to the greeks. we needed a proper, cold, calculating roman representation. hazel and frank could just as easily fit into the greeks because they were very new to camp jupiter and reyna was shipped off to the hunters.
jason was always kind of eccentric in the argo ii if you guys hadn't noticed. when jason was talking in praise about diocletian(?) hazel looked at him in horror because he wasn't supposed to be saying good things about him. but the romans were supposed to be like that. they were supposed to take in the beneficial aspects of even bad people, they didn't think about feelings. they were the "we see good in everyone but only because we need them for our benefit".
it would take a million years for jason to trust someone completely, hot take but he would take longer than nico to warm up to someone. nico is just more open about not trusting someone, but jason would hide it better. annabeth said jason had this unnerving vibe about him and neither she or hazel could get a read on him. he would be calculating your every move and would read so much into what you say, because he's a roman by blood, by virtue.
and jason would take betrayals HORRIBLY, arguably he'd take it the hardest, it isn't easy to anger him but a broken promise, a broken trust, drives him absolutely insane.
Galinda: I could fix her
Fiyero: yeah? well I could accept her as she is! you don’t like the murder? grow up! the atrocities are part of her, and I’ve decided that they’re funny.
I have this headcanon that Daring and Briar are that one purely platonic duo where they bond over being too pretty for this world. They’ll never admit it or say it out loud cause they know its rude but every now and then they’ll go to a coffee shop together and silently judge people together. Like they’ll be eyeing someone’s outfit and silently eye each other as if to say “we’re in agreement when I say that skirt and pair boots are just not it together right?” “Oh yeah absolutely!” They 100% help each other take pictures for each other’s instagram too.
Also, you CANNOT convince me that they dont bond over being the oldest sibling. Look, it seem like siblings in the world of ever after are pretty rare in general (let alone having more than one sibling), so you know damn well that when someone brings up the topic of siblings and almost everyone in the room is like “can’t relate”, the two will simultaneously be like “lol I can” and then just go off about how as the oldest sibling, its easy to love your younger sibling and yet find them the most annoying person in the world at the same time.
And to top it off I absolutely love the idea that after the events of Epic winter, Briar started giving Daring advice on how to inpress Rosabella. Like the day before Daring went to meet Rosabella’s parents, he was relentlessly freaking out. Being Rosabella’s cousin, Briar was just there like “Dude…Relax! Everyone in my family is super chill. Look, I know your parents expect alot from you, but My Aunt and Uncle are not like that. They dont care who Rosabella is dating so as long as they’re a good person. You dont have to try so hard to impress them….If anything they’re gonna find it awkward when they catch you trying too hard to impress them”.
