Online activism culture has lost the vocabulary to express “this deals with touchy stuff in a way many people might find inappropriate, and you should probably avoid it if insensitivity on this subject gets you angry/upset, but it’s not promoting hateful ideas or demeaning people or affecting anything but my opinion of the creator’s sense of tact.”

A collection of different drawings for a recent DnD character!! Their name is (as decided by the party+their past) Porpl Dusk! They’re an amnesiac changeling who died then came back having experienced ✨the horrors✨ special guest in third drawing is @xlulu2002 ‘s character!! 1) Based on the overall vibes from the song No One Else, they’re a bard so I wanted to draw them playing one of the instruments their proficient in 2) They cast mainly with their voice, but occasionally will use the violin! As for the crystals, I may go more in depth in future posts (and if the gods will it, an animatic) 3) Just felt the urge to draw them and their guardian doing a little dance 4) Their main design, which I actually haven’t drawn outside of their ref! I’ve decided to give this YouTube thing a serious go and start making some real content soon. I’m currently in the process of gathering equipment with the help of an amazing friend who will work behind the scenes on it with me and we’d very much like your feedback about what kind of content you’d like to see from me!

It has been a dream of mine for the longest time to go in this direction and make videos for you all, that’s part of the reason why I’m studying Multimedia computing now (where I learn things like sound/photo/video editing, and so on), but I’ve never had much confidence to do it. I’m shy and awkward in front of the camera, but with a gentle push from Leona, I am much braver than before and believe that I can do it.

I struggle with the fear that I will disappoint you all, that’s why feedback is so important to me, so if you have any suggestions, please do tell!
