I Haven’t Read Private Peaceful In Years. I Remember We Had To Read The Whole Book Out Loud In Class

I haven’t read Private Peaceful in years. I remember we had to read the whole book out loud in class (must’ve been Year 8), and I cried like a baby at the end. Got made fun of for crying though.

Dear Fanfiction Readers,

If you’re afraid to leave a review/comment because you think it’ll sound stupid, don’t be. Just leave an incoherent reply in all caps. We love that shit.

Sincerely,

A Fic Writer that needs constant validation.

This is one of my idea, but I haven’t got round to writing it and don’t know if I will.

I called it Silent and my idea was that John doesn’t talk or is deaf, but I guess it could be used for any character or have any other name.

Hope this helps.

Has anyone got any ideas or suggestions for a short story? I need to submit a proposal tomorrow for my assessment piece which involves me writing a maximum of 750 words in a story telling form. I’ve been too busy revising for my first exam to be able to spend some time thinking about it and now that my first exam is over I’m stuck for ideas! I’d love to write some TAG fanfiction but I think it’s got to be something original :P

On September 5, 1986, A 22-year-old Flight Attendant Held Off A Group Of Armed Hijackers. Her Name Was

On September 5, 1986, a 22-year-old flight attendant held off a group of armed hijackers. Her name was Neerja Bhanot, and when the attackers boarded Pan Am Flight 73, she shouted a secret code to the pilots to allow them to escape. From there, she spent 17 hours on a full plane with the hijackers, hiding the passports of foreign passengers, to keep them from being targeted. When the power began to fail, the hijackers began to open fire and set off explosives. She gave her life protecting children running to the emergency exit.

She died 2 days short of her birthday, which is today.

I cover her story in the RP book. Last year, a movie about her life, Neerja, came out. I believe it’s now on US Netflix.

“Beam me up, Scotty” was never actually said in any of the episodes. The closest they ever got was “Scotty, beam us up.” in "The Gamesters of Triskelion" and "The Savage Curtain" episodes.

Beam me up Scotty!

“Don’t let Johnny hear you say that.” Scott advises mischievously. “It makes him pull a special kind of face when his favorite shows get misquoted.”

Beam Me Up Scotty!

“Live long and proper, anon.”

I’m not nearly as good a writer as you (I read Bring Our Starman Home, and I cried like a baby), so here’s the idea I came up with.

John is forced to come home after Ghost Ship and spend some time on Earth to get checked over for injuries, and Scott goes to talk to him about his first mission (I know there was EOS, but that was on his own ship, saving himself. This is the first one we see that he saves people.)

I know it’s not much, but it’s something. :)

The Official Title This Is Saved Under Is ‘John Post Spider Smashing V2′ But Tbh It Probably Works

The official title this is saved under is ‘John post Spider Smashing V2′ but tbh it probably works for most John-gets-into-trouble-in-space/with-gravity/assorted-evils kind of things… I’d love to have someone give this a proper story so ideas are welcome XD xx
