I think we should stop expecting Victoria to forever be "the mean girl of high school" that Chloe would hate and could never be friends with or hang out with in Double Exposure.
Because, you know, it's been 10 years and Victoria might not be the same person she was before. Like, imagine if something happened down the line in all those years that made her grow as a person.
For example, if a "natural" disaster hits and destroyed her hometown and killed everyone close to her, and for a while she think she was the only survivor... Is it crazy to think that a mean girl could see this as a second chance and try to be a better person since then?
Maybe she doesn't even think about being a better person. Maybe she just went to therapy because of this disaster and then ended up working through other issues she had that made her that mean girl of high school in the first place.
And Chloe, who might not be the same person she was before either, bumps into her by accident and is surprised by this change and decides to stick around to get to know this new Victoria, and maybe be her friend (or even something more), because, you know, they are both among the few survivors of this disaster in their hometown.
