Me and a friend got an aggie together to draw Sonic characters with a bit more extreme height/ body proportion differences- but it very quickly turned into us drawing sibling fluff.

If you're curious what the changes are:

Sonic is taller and lankier, built for running and being aerodynamic.

Tails is shorter and pudgy, his fox height will kick in when he gets older.

Knuckles is the tallest and is built like a fridge, but mostly in his forearms. (but not Sonic Boom's weird pizza body with spindly legs)

Amy is shorter, but her hammer is MASSIVE. Little innocent tween that looks like she's a damsel in destress but actually is your hero.

(Shadow isn't here because I didn't doodle him in the aggie) but he's a bit shorter, however he is taller than Amy. He's more built for physical combat, having him be bulkier than Sonic (and physically stronger). I like to think that he's a bit more condensed to help stabilize and control the chaos energy inside him.

(and Silver is skin and bone)

Some lovely people have tried to inform me that real hedgies can have clicky purrs and I am very much aware of that. I just think Shadow is built different.

Headcanon time: LD is always, *always* the one to suggest violence as an answer to problems. Need help with the toaster? He'll smash it to pieces and put it back together with chaos energy. Brothers are being annoying? Smacks their shit and dumps them in the backyard. Badniks? Nuked from orbit. Weird eldritch horrors? Just fistfight them bro. Eggman? Has to be physically restrained from offhandedly murdering him whenever they see each other.
