so bearing in mind that t4t was invented by, to be about, transfems, how would you have transmascs who connect with that concept go forward from here? would you want us to come up with our own thing or just try to handle using t4t with more like, awareness and respect and stuff? if youd like to pitch in
genuine question and you definitely dont have to answer, if you answer harshly i wont take it personally haha
listen, there's no reason to give up using it. that cat is out of the bag and it's not really possible to make the space exclusive again, and personally i don't think it would be better that way. all i want and what the transfems i've also seen talk about this seem to want is for the transmascs and straight trans women who use t4t to remember its history and not feel the need to step up and correct or shut down conversations that are being had by transfem 4 transfem lesbians, we do still have our own little community even if it only used to be called t4t and we should remain an autonomous party in conversations about both t4t and our own community. basically don't butt in like that last anon did.
and thank you for asking that's absolutely the right question to ask when you find out your terms are taken from a marginalized group you don't belong to, the answer will vary depending on the situation but the question is always good
that was snippy lol but you have honest to god got to get over the propaganda spoonfed to you about heroin and meth in particular. no they are not magic evil killers that instantly take over your brain like an invasive fungus no there is no such thing as any drug or medical intervention that is 100% risk free. you already know heroin and meth users they are members of your communities and social circles and societies not bogeymen from a childrens book. this kneejerk treatment of heroin and meth like they're uniquely addictive and dangerous and too awful to even be spoken is racialised & classed & it kills people. get over itttt
people have got to learn the difference between I didnt like it and It was bad
PLEASE TAKE A MOMENT TO READ!!
Mona (@mohammedshehabtt) has reached out to me to share new info with you all. She needs to buy two tents for herself and her mother and father. The cost of the two tents is $3,000. It’s now winter in Gaza and the conditions are horrible. Mona, her husband, her parents, and her two young daughters have no shelter to keep out of the cold and rain. These tents are essential to their survival. Please donate if you can, no amount is too small. So far, they have only raised 2k out of their 30k goal. We can help them reach their short term goal of $3,000 with your help. Please, please consider donating. Even a few bucks will help get them closer to their goal. Sharing this post is also incredibly helpful.
Thank you ❤️
Vetted here (#111 on this list)
I don't often ask for this, but this out of urgency.
This post is on behalf of Nader @abdalsalam1990, as I have a large following which could help it get traction.
Nader is 17 years old and his family is in Gaza facing dire circumstances. Food is scarce, prices are high, and there are shortages in water. They, like countless others suffering during this war, have already had to relocate many times, and their home is destroyed. They do not have enough money to safely relocate right now, or a stable source of income, as places of work have been destroyed.
Nader had just lost their uncle to the vile Israeli occupiers, and they're desperately asking for donations. Any amount of money can help Nader and his family escape this destruction.
I have donated myself and I know a lot of my followers can afford to donate at least something. It's not a hard donation process, so I hope you take a moment of your day to show some support.

“there are femboys who are cis men” there are femboys who say they are cis men girl 😭 don’t be dense you know the difference. did you have male privilege when you were trapped in the closet? or is there some magic soul difference between you and all the “cis men” who haven’t come out as trans yet? be for real. stop appealing to magic soul gender. gender analysis has to be material: crossdressers are TMA. crossdressers crossdress for “sex” or for “performance” or for “fetish” or a million different other reasons because it is socially unacceptable to express it in their public lives, even partially, even if they don’t come out as trans women. do you think Eddie Izzard was immune to transmisogyny before a few years ago? Do you think that didn’t affect job opportunities etc?
whether you want to classify these people as victims or perpetrators (or somewhere in between) the fact is that there is a very real social and legal incentive for sissies and crossdressers and femboys and drag queens to draw a line and say "i am still a cis man, i am not one of those trans women" in not so many words. And they benefit from that and sell it and tme people celebrate it in a way they do not when that line is crossed.
this isn't some "magic soul difference" or whatever bad faith argument you're assuming of me; this is just the clear and simple statement that people view and treat feminine AMAB people differently once they say "i am not a man", once we demand to be respected as women.
I would normally never do this and I normally avoid all political posting, but the FDA has had to stop a lot of food testing due to staff cuts currently planned at least until September 30th.
This is very dangerous for certain foods and if you live in the United States, I highly recommend that you keep track of this list: https://www.fda.gov/food/food-safety-modernization-act-fsma/food-traceability-list
That is a (not fully comprehensive but useful) list of the high-risk foods for contamination and sickness that could result in serious harm or death. The broad strokes are cheeses, but especially soft cheeses, raw/fresh vegetables, pre-sliced fruit packages, ready to eat salads, chicken eggs, milk (bird flu), anything fermented like melons, and pet food, among others.
This is likely not a comprehensive list, so be sure to look things up yourself as well.
If you buy vegetables and plan to eat them, it is best to cook them to a safe temperature and wash their outsides well with water and light scrubbing instead of eating them raw. Treat it like chicken in that regard.
Make sure that the individual foods that you buy often are safe to eat or at risk, and adjust accordingly. This is a fundamental necessity that everyone here will need to follow. Testing is reduced or gone, and reporting on outbreaks will also likely be reduced or banned outright as well.
All you can do is stay safe, use your masks in public again, and make sure that you are clean as well as your food.
Attached below are more tips for vegetables, meat safety should be the same, just be more vigilant.
I love you all and don't want any of you hurt. Let's all support each other, thank you.
