I would love love love to see the Traffic Life Trivia as Um Actually questions. I know it wouldn’t have worked given the nature of Um Actually, but I can imagine a bonus episode where they just answer Triaffic Life trivia questions in the Um Actually format, where three players are called to compete against each other to answer questions in rounds and the winners then compete against each other in a tournament style. Cherrifire hosts it. Martyn yells “GET IN THE COMMENTS” every time he isn’t given points for his answers. The players who are not actively answering questions are behind the camera reacting to answers. Every time the answer to a really hard question is revealed, you can hear everyone else in the background going “OH COME ON” “HOW WOULD WE HAVE KNOWN THAT”. Sometimes the players behind the camera try to pantomime the answers. Without remorse, Cleo, who watches Dropout, keeps stealing answers from players who keep forgetting to say “Um Actually”.
I think that special interests are actually a disabling part of autism
I'm tired of people (allistic and autistic) saying that it's bad that special interests are 'pathologised' because passions are good. This is because that comes from a fundamental misunderstanding of what a special interest is. Special interests are not just things you like a lot, they are 'highly fixated interests abnormal in intensity or focus'. For me (and pretty much everyone with autism I've asked about it), this means that special interests are basically your whole life. For me, my special interest is ASD. I think about autism all the time. It's the only thing I find interesting, and every thought I have can be linked to autism in some way. This is pretty disabling to me because it makes it way harder to talk about and do stuff that isn't related to my special interest.
It makes making friends really hard because, on top of my social challenges, I also don't know how to talk about anything other than my special interest, and I will bring the conversation back to my special interest if I feel comfortable around someone, and just not talk to someone if I don't feel comfortable around them. It also makes doing the things I need to do in life (such as doing work for uni, taking care of myself, cleaning my living space, etc) so much harder because my brain doesn't think it's interesting in the slightest and therefore I have absolutely no motivation to do them.
Maybe my special interests are more extreme than other people's. I wasn't diagnosed with a level, I just got a diagnosis of ASD, but I'm probably on the higher end of level 1, possibly on the lower end of level 2 but I can't really figure that out for myself. However, the ASD diagnostic criteria in both the ICD-11 and DSM-V state that your traits of autism must be causing 'clinically significant impairment' (i.e. they must be disabling) for you to qualify for an ASD diagnosis.
I think C! Scott should eat people and be in love

wild life session 5
Staring contests are surprisingly common on Hermitcraft, and because of this they have a few rules that come with them.
First off, Keralis is banned, since his eyes can’t physically close and looking into his eyes for extended periods of time is a bad idea anyway.
Second, Etho isn’t banned, but he’s on thin ice. The Hermits are still trying to figure out if he can just go awhile without blinking, or if blinking is completely optional for him.
Third, Grian was previously banned but is now allowed to participate again. This has nothing to do with his ability to blink, but instead because he kept cheating by kicking his opponent. If he gets caught doing it again to anyone who isn’t Scar he’ll be banned again.
It isn’t a rule, but Wels can’t participate. It’s a little bit hard to have a staring contest when you’re a mannequin that doesn’t have eyes. He is very upset by this. Also, despite only having one organic eye, Doc can participate.
Once season 10 started Joe was almost temporarily banned from staring contests, since he was a muppet and his eyes were presumably made of plastic. But for staring contests he always covers his eyes with his hands whenever he would reasonably be blinking, so he is free to have as many staring contests as he wants.
Whenever Imp and Skizz have staring contests with each other, they somehow always end up tying.

Lizzie and Scott are both sacrificial lambs, but like.
Lizzie is a sacrificial lamb in the sense of. A wounded animal fighting against its bindings, because it isn't fair for its life to be reduced, time and time again, to what cleansing flames can offer other people.
On the other hand, Scott is a sacrificial lamb in the sense of. An animal who follows you and lays down in your lap as you prepare to slaughter it, because it's accepted that it's only worth is in the gain of other people.
If this makes sense to anyone.
