Elijah: he put a basket of things on sydney’s windowsill, or at least it was assumably him, because. who else would do that. this might be a nicer thing to do if it wasn’t all weird stolen shit inside.

Rowan: a NICE blanket. a real soft one since sydney is always really cold

Juniper: he got him a graphoscope and sydney was very happy but didn’t have a clue what it was or how to use it.

Salem: she said happy birthday. she still has a little bit of beef with him.

Yvonne: she got him one of those necklaces that you can put a crystal inside of :]

Soren: despite being absurdly rich, his gift was decor for the worms (which was actually very appreciated!! thought that counts.)

Joshua: sydney mentioned ONE time several years ago that he wanted a djungelskog and he remembered it for some reason

Matthew: matthew put sprinkles onto bread and brought that to sydney :]

Jedidiah: jedidiah has gotten a gift for sydney every year without fail since they met. they’re ALWAYS heartfelt and personalized. for the first time, that summer he did not hand sydney a gift. sydney waited all day expecting for it to be a surprise only for jedidiah to remain off site. this is not to say he failed to buy him a gift- he absolutely did- but could not bear to be that close with him. remains in his office in a drawer as looking at it only hurts him.

There’s also “mystery man” who seems to be narrating this scene. I wonder if that’s a one episode thing or if there’ll be multiple episodes like that.

My best guess for the identity of “mystery man” would be Agent 7. He could be trying to give more information on the specifics of files, and that’s why he’s cutting in to explain. If it is him that would imply he (or another agent) was there watching this scene go down, or they have some sort of video evidence of it, since if they only had the audio files he wouldn’t be able to know specifics like the look in Adam’s eye.

AND THE LOOK IN ADAMS EYE!!!! A GLIMMER OF REVERENCE AND FEAR?!? If this is in regard to Sydney (which it probably is) IT IMPLIES SO MUCH !!!!!
