Very First Sketch Of The Gremlin

First post of the year and it’s a WAHOO kind of post! I’ll file this under “dreams come true”, I’ll SLAM-DUNK it in that magical folder with no hesitation whatsoever. Here’s the collab between me and my beloved @gingerhaole and I couldn’t be happier. When she asked me if I felt like adding lineart and colors to her gorgeous sketch I just about happily cried. OF COURSE I yelled Y E S and here’s the result! The colors I ended up adding to the piece are pretty different from the ones she first sketched, but I really like how two artists can give a completely different mood to the same picture 💚

Back when I made this I had NO IDEA of what was about to happen in the season finale and *sigh* I was painfully correct without knowing it. I still love this artwork, but it kinda became a painful remainder- so I decided to edit it and have both versions available on my Etsy :')

I wish I knew why I am the way I am It's practically pixel art. There was absolutely NO REASON AT ALL for me to repaint the photo on the back cover of Hate and Ashbury. No one will notice it in the final illust EVER, where it will be even smaller and deformed because of the book perspective
