Y/n groaned and slowly sat up, moving her hair over her shoulder as she looked out the window. The bright light shone through as she swung her legs over the bed to sit on the side of it. Looking to her bedside table she took a small glass vile, the conversation she had with the teachers clear in her mind.
*Flashback*
Y/n's eyes slowly opened and she blinked rapidly at the bright light. Hearing noises around her she turned to see Riven and Sky in the greenhouse. Her smile quickly left as she seen them leaving saying "Beatrix/Stella needs me."
Looking around the room she seen Silva with a look of disappointment and Dowling and Harvey with the backs turned towards her. She coughed as she tried to speak causing the teachers to turn towards her. Harvey came towards her with a glass and helped her drink the water before moving towards his office.
"How are you feeling?" Dowling asked, smiling gently at the young fairy. "Like I've been hit by a mental barrier." Y/n groaned causing the fairy and specialist to chuckle at her. "That will leave eventually, don't worry." Dowling smiled gently. "I can't keep loosing control, I could seriously hurt someone." Y/n stated, sitting up more and looking at both teachers. "Which is why I have came up with an angent which should help you with controlling your magic. It is only an aid, which means that you also have to work on it yourself." Harvey stated, walking towards the group with a small box containing small vials. "How does it work?" Y/n asked, looking at the vials n confusion. "It will slightly decrease your feelings and magic binding. Meaning that it will decrease your loss of control with negative emotions. When it starts becoming easy for you we will then decrease the strength." "We are here for anything you should need." Dowling stated with a nod of her head. "Should I take one now?" "no, every morning, preferably same time." Harvey stated. "Okay, can I go now?" "I'll walk you back." Silva stated, seeing Harvey nod.
Y/n stood up and waited a second to gain stability before moving towards the door. Silva watched carefully as she picked up her bag and headed out the door. The two walked in silence as they walked the halls. Reaching the door to her suite, Silva turned and faced her before she could open the door.
"I'm sorry for the way Riven and Sky have been towards you. I am especially disappointed in the way Sky acted when you needed him most." He stated causing y/n to sigh. "It's okay, it's just the way it is now. They have their own lives away from me, they don't need to spend every minute with me." She stated, smiling slightly. "I don't think I remember the last time I've seen them with you. Last year I used to catch you in their rooms after hours, now, I don't see you even attempting to go to their room." Silva stated, giving her a concerned look. "They are busy with their girl friends or whatever it is their calling them, that's okay. I'm not going to stop them having other relationships." "Y/n.........." "Really Silva, it's fine." She stated interrupting him, " I better go, it's getting late. Goodnight headmaster Silva." She stated as the door opened. "Goodnight Y/n, I'm glad that you are okay." Silva stated, nodding at the girls who were looking from inside the room before leaving, hearing the girls fuss over y/n.
*Flashback end*
------------------------
"What's that?" Y/n snapped her head to the door to see Terra standing there, looking at the vial in her hand. "Oh it's to help me with my umm, magic." Y/n replied reluctantly, looking at the vial before downing it in one go.
"Oh, does little y/n not have her magic under control. Aww." Stella mocked, causing y/n to roll her eyes as she came into view. "Shut up Stella. Your not doing much better from what I remember." Terra stated, looking at Stella. "Stay out of it Terra." Stella stated before looking at y/n with a smirk, "Y/n here lost control and almost injured a teacher, I don't see that as control. I mean how are you even meant to protect others if you can't protect yourself."
Y/n stormed to the door and slammed the door in Terra and Stellas face. Locking the door she turned to see a picture of her and her parents, smiling as they posed in front of an igloo they made last Christmas. Tears built up in y/ns eyes as she slid down the door. Pulling on her hair, she ignored the knocks on the door as she tried to control her breathing.
------------------------------------------
Fixing her hair, y/n took a deep breath before opening her bedroom door. No one was there so she didn't have to worry about Stella annoying her. Grabbing her keys and phone she left the dorm and headed towards the training area.
Looking around as she passed training mats she seen Riven and Sky training together. Smiling slightly she watched as Silva went to them. She raised her eyebrows as Riven managed to floor Sky before walking towards a bench to sit down.
"You shouldn't be here." "I think it's a bit late to be telling me that when I've been coming here since last year. "Y/n stated sarcastically as Silva came to her. "How are you?" She asked in concern. "As good as I can be." Silva smiled gently, sitting beside her on the bench. "They will find it Silva, some of the best specialists are out there." y/n tried to comfort her friends father figure. Silva nodded and looked at the two boys. "Have you told them yet?" "No I haven't had the time." She looked down at her hands. "They can help you Y/n. You know you need the support of friends." Silva stated, looking y/n in the eyes. "They wouldn't understand." The young fairy stated as she watched Riven and Sky sitting on the bench with Stella. "They would if you talk to them. They will help you y/n. Your just causing yourself harm." "I get your trying to help me Silva but please, leave it. They have their own lives anyway." Y/n stated before the boys came up to her.
-----------------------
Boys POV:
"What do you think that's about?" Sky asked Riven as he got back onto the bench he had just been pushed off. "I dunno, but I'm worried about her." Riven stated as the two watched their friend and teacher talking across from them. "We haven't seen much of her this year." Sky stated. "Yeah well you've been the princess herself and I've been with Beatrix. Not that it's a good enough excuse." Riven stated, muttering at the end. "She wanted to tell us something at the start of the year, but she never did. I think something happened over Summer break that she hasn't told us." Sky observed, his eyes not leaving y/n. "If it was really important I'm sure she would of said it by now." Riven pointed a finger to y/n while looking at Sky. "Yeah maybe." Sky muttered. "Come on, let's go to her. I dunno about you but I find it concerning that she's talking to Silva." Riven stated, hitting Sky gently on the chest before getting up and walking towards his trainer and friend.
------------------------------
Usual POV:
"Hey." Y/n spoke, looking up at the blonde and brunette as they stopped in front of her. "I'll leave you guys to it. Think about what I said." Silva said before speaking to y/n at the end. "Riven, Sky." he nodded his head at the two. "Silva." he nodded back before Silva left. "Bye." Yn smiled weakly before Sky and Riven sat beside her.
"Everything okay?" Riven asked, looking at y/n with concern. "Yeah, everything is fine. How are you two?" She asked, looking side to side at the two of them. "Good, yeah, we're good. What was that with Silva?" Sky asked, pointing at the direction his father figure left. "Just talking while waiting for you two is all. Nothing serious." She half lied, looking at Sky as she shook her head. "Are you sure? Because you know we are here for you?" Sky stated.
Y/n looked at Silva who stood in the distance watching two first years fighting. Feeling her gaze he turned in her direction and he nodded in encouragement. Taking a breath she went to speak.
"Actually.............." "Sky, there you are. I need your help." Stella stated, walking to the view of the three. "Stella can it wait? I'm kinda busy." Sky stated, pointing at y/n who looked down. "It's kinda important." Stella stated, glaring slightly at y/n causing her to look down at her lap. "Right okay. I'll, uhh, talk to you later yeah?" Sky asked, looking at y/n who nodded, "Right, bye." He said awkwardly before leaving with Stella.
"I better go too.................." Let me guess, Beatrix needs you." Y/n snapped, looking at Riven who had a shocked face. "Uhh, yeah, are you okay?" riven asked, shocked at her outburst. "Yeah I'm fine. Sorry I don't know what happened there, Stress I'm guessing. That's fine. Have fun." Y/n fake smiled before Riven left, looking back at her before he was out of sight.
Silva watched as Sky walked away from Y/n with Stella and shortly after Riven. Y/n stood up and looked at Silva and shrugged her shoulders causing Silva to sigh and shake his head in disappointment. She smiled weakly before leaving back to the school building, Silva watching her with caution.
---------------------
"Hey guys." Y/n sighed as she sat at a lunch table with Bloom and Musa. "Hey." bloom sighed, before returning to her conversation with Musa. "It's just strange not seeing Aisha get something right." She stated. "Agreed. Not sure why that makes you obnoxiously guilty though." Musa said with a smirk. "I know you have to feel everyone's emotions but you don't have to broadcast them." "Aisha's probably just tired." Y/n stated, taking a bite out of her sandwich. "Yeah. My parents think Alfa's in Switzerland so they skype me at 9am Switzerland time every mornig." "It's 2am our time. Yes, we can all hear you." Musa interrupted Bloom with a slight smile. "Am I being loud? I'm trying to be quiet." "Like an old lady unwrapping sweets in the cinema." Musa teased her. "I personally can't hear you. Which is lucky for you because I can be a nightmare if woken up." Y/n stated in a monotone voice causing Bloom to look at her before turning to Musa who was looking in the distance. "Hey, where'd you go?" Y/n asked, snapping Musa out of her trance. "Is it my turn to broadcast your emotions." Bloom teased. "They're developing, plus there's complications." Musa stated causing y/n to laugh lightly as Terra came down to their table.
Y/n zoned out of the conversation as she watched Riven with Beatrix. The two walked through the hall before she lost sight of them. Sighing, she jumped out of her trance when Bloom and Terra left, realizing that Musa had also left. Getting up, she grabbed her tray and put the rubbish in the bin and walked out, passing Stella and Sky on her way.
------------------------------------------
Y/n lay on her bed and stared at the ceiling, feeling numb. Thinking of her life and the burned ones, a tear drifted down her cheek. Quickly she wiped the tears away before looking up to the sound of Terra shouting out. Checking her appearance in her phone she quickly got out and headed into the bathroom to see Aisha and Bloom helping Terra with makeup. She looked behind her to see Musa behind her.
"Well, this is weird." "Get dressed. We have to go. We're gonna go to the party. We're gonna show everybody that we're cool and and fun and..........." "Hot?" Musa asked, interrupting Terras rant. "I'm okay here, parties aren't my thing." Y/n stated, going to leave the bathroom. "Y/n please. You have to." Terra begged, looking at the older fairy. "Terra I really don't think I should......" Y/n stated only to be dragged to the seat by Bloom to get makeup done.
------------------------------
Y/n walked through the crowd in discomfort as Terra dragged her to a table. Sitting on a chair she looked around, ignoring the conversation Sam and Terra were having. She gasped and jumped as she felt an arm wrap around her shoulder.
"Y/n, you came." Riven said excitedly causing y/n to roll her eyes. "Seriously Riven, drinking already." She stated, unamused. "Lighten up y/n. Have a drink. Relax." "I don't drink Riven, you know I don't." Y/n stated causing Riven to sigh disappointedly. "Well come meet my friends. You'll like them, I promise." He stated, getting her out of her chair and walking to the far end of the wing, not moving his arm from her shoulders.
Y/n looked around in discomfort as the crowds seemed to be closer to her. She didn't want to be here, a party was the last thing she needed. She pushed her thoughts away when Riven sat down and pulled her onto his lap.
"Guys meet y/n. Y/n meet Beatrix and Dane. They're both first years but are like me." "Druggies and alcohol drinkers despite their age." Y/n stated a little harshly. "Always sarcastic." Riven joked to the two, squeezing y/n into a little hug. "Hi, it's nice to meet you." Beatrix stated with a fake smile which y/n could see through. "Likewise." Y/n muttered. "I'm going to get another drink. Get to know each other." Riven stated, moving y/n to the side before leaving. "I'll get one too." Dane stated before leaving the two girls alone.
"So how long have ou known Riven?" Beatrix asked with a fake smile. "Since last year." Y/n stated, scratching the back of her head before looking away. "He's better without you." Beatrix stated bluntly. "Excuse me?" Y/n asked in confusion. "I don't know much but I do know that your pretty messed up in the head. Look at you, is anyone really safe around you. I mean you lost control in class and luckily a teacher was there, what happens if you hurt Riven, or Sky."
Y/n looked down and blinked rapidly to avoid the tears falling down. She looked in the direction of Riven to see him laughing and joking with Dane at the bar. She turned to leave the booth when a hand grabbed her shoulder.
"Sky and I are playing Beer pong. Come on, Aishas waiting and Sky is getting Riven." Bloom stated, holding her arm gently.
Y/n looked back to Beatrix and seen her smiling, giving a fake wave. Y/n looked ahead in confusion before putting on a smile as she and Bloom reached the table. Riven and Sky were waiting as well as Aisha.
Y/n opted to stand back and just watch the four play as she wasn't in the mood to be drinking. Watching the four plaing her thoughts swirled around her head on what Beatrix had said. Could she hurt her friends? She almost hurt Dowling, Silva and Harvey, so it was a possibility.
"I'm not feeling great. I'm going to go." Y/n stated suddenly causing Riven and Sky to look at her in confusion. "Do you want one of us to go with you?" Sky asked. "No, it's okay. You enjoy the party I just have to go." Y/n stated, already moving away from the group.
Sky and Riven watched her go with concern on her face before gasping as a cold liquid splashed all over them.
------------------------------------
Y/n lay in bed with darkness surrounding her. Sighing she switched on the light and lay on her side. Staring ahead of her she freezes as she sees a picture of her parents smiling in front of her. In a rush of anger she grabbed it and slammed it face down. Realizing what she had done she picked it up only to see the glass smashed in pieces. Seeing the picture ruined she just let the tears she had been holding back all day fall down.
!!!!!!!!!!Trigger Warning!!!!!!!!
Through her tears she seen a shard of glass on her counter table. Wiping away the tears she picked up the piece of glass and looked at it. Taking a deep breath she looked ahead at the wall.
As if on autopilot she rolled up her sleeves and pressed the glass onto her wrist. Not even realizing what she was doing she just cu her arm 5 times. 1 for allowing her parents to die, 1 for allowing herself to loose control of her magic, another for feeling so weak and 2 just to feel something other then numbness. She gasped as she seen the damage she had done to her arm.
"No, no no no no." She muttered repeatedly, realizing what she had done.
Standing up she opened her bedside locker drawer and shoved the shard of glass into it. Wrapping her arm around her wrist she looked around, listening for a sound. Hearing none she quickly got up and rushed into the shared bathroom.
Removing her hand from her wrist she looked at the blood that coated her hand and dripped from her wrist. She closed her eyes as memories of her parents lying dead on the ground surrounded by blood came to mind.
Blinking the thoughts away she turned on the tap and washed the blood away. Not feeling anything she wiped the cuts dry before wrapping some gauze she found around it.
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Trigger ending!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Leaving the bathroom y/n rushed into her bed. Turning off the light she stared blankly ahead of her, realizing what she had done. Putting a hand over her mouth she allowed the tears to fall once more, crying herself to sleep.
Jay took it slow as they drove around, listening the y/n as she leaned against the back seat, her eyes closed as she gave directions. Antonio sighed, grumbling as they came to a stop in front of an apartment building. Jay gave him a look as he opened the door to y/n, allowing her to stand still before walking to the entrance of what looked like an abandoned building. Jay grimaced as he looked around at the walls, following y/n as she muttered under her breath. He nearly bumped into her when she came to a stop.
“This was it.” Y/n explained nodding to the chipped door. “You sure?” Jay asked as Antonio eyed him. “Uhuh.” y/n nodded, flinching as Antonio grabbed her to move her away from the door. “Chicago pd.” Jay called out, knocking on the door.
They heard movement behind the door and Jay nodded at Antonio to kick the door down. Y/n watched as the two detectives rushed into the apartment, guns raised before a man came into figure, trying to climb out the window. Jay was quicker, grabbing him before he jumped, while Antonio moved to the bed where another girl lay, bounded up. She screamed as the blind was removed only for Antonio to flash his badge, silencing her. Y/n watched in amazement as Jay handcuffed the guy and brought him out. She shivered as he turned his face to her, and he snarled at her before Jay pulled him away from her. Antonio came out with the victim and turned to y/n, patting her on the shoulder before walking down the stairs.
Outside y/n seen a squad car pull up and a black jeep behind them. She stopped when she seen Kelly running out of the drivers seat, still in gear from their previous call. She allowed him to wrap his jacket and arms around her, before clinging to him as she cried. Kelly hushed her as he rocked her, kissing her forehead before looking at the squad car, glaring at the man in the back seat.
“Y/n, we may need to speak to you again. Catching him in the act is a near guarantee for time.” Jay stated, walking to the fireman and girl. “Does she need to do anything?” Kelly asked, rubbing y/n’s back gently. “A rape kit would be beneficial for evidence.” Jay stated, looking at y/n. “We can go to med now if you want. I can ask April to run it.” Kelly advised, looking down at y/n. “Do we have to do it now?” Y/n asked, looking from Kelly to Jay. “The longer you leave it the less likely the evidence will be accurate.” Jay explained, nodding his head. “Ok.” Y/n sighed, nodding at the two men. “Let’s go.” Kelly sighed, kissing head before guiding her to his car.
-------------
Kelly leaned against the wall outside the room where April had brought y/n. She had called for Natalie to do the examination, but had promised Kelly that she would stay by the young Caseys side for the duration of the exam. The fireman breathed heavily as he rubbed his forehead before looking up when he heard footsteps approach him.
“How is she?” Casey asked, stopping in front of Casey. “I don’t know Casey, scared of what’s to come, heartbroken that her brother didn’t believe her.” Kelly snapped at Casey, and Casey sighed before leaning on the wall beside Kelly. “I know, I feel bad. I took my frustrations out on her.” Casey sighed, head down in defeat. “How could I imply that she lied about being kidnapped, and raped. What kind of brother am I?” Casey exclaimed, throwing his arms out in frustration. “The type who made a mistake. But you’re here for her now. That’s what matters.” Kelly sighed, not wanting to argue with Casey. “Can we see her?” “April and Natalie are doing a rape kit on her. Than she should be good to go.” Kelly explained, and Casey nodded. “Thanks Kelly.” Casey stated. “For what?” Kelly asked, confused. “Believing her.”
Kelly didn’t have time to answer when the door to y/ns room opened and Natalie walked out, April following with a bag in hand. The doctor looked at the two firemen before nodding at them.
“You can go into her now. She’s a little fragile at the minute, these kits take a lot out of victims so be careful with her. She’s good to go when she’s ready.” Natalie explained. “Thanks.” Kelly smiled softly at the women before walking into the room, Casey following slowly behind.
Y/n was sat on the side of the bed, arms around herself as she looked out the window beside her. She turned slightly when she heard the door open, and looked down when she seen Matt behind Kelly. Kelly smiled softly as he moved to sit beside her, offering his hand to her.
“You ok?” He asked as y/n accepted his hand, rubbing his thumb against her knuckles. “I want this over with.” Y/n stated. “I know. And it will be, soon.” Kelly stated, bumping into her slightly. “I think I know what I want to do when I graduate.” Y/n stated, looking at Kelly. “What’s that?” Casey asked, moving his head to the side. “A detective. I want to help people find justice for the crimes against them.” Y/n explained and Casey nodded with a slight smile. “I think, you’ll make a great detective.” Casey nodded, frowning when y/n looked away from him. “I’m sorry I didn’t believe you. I had a bad case, I should of never took it out on you.” Casey explained, moving to be in front of his sister. “It hurt me when you said I was lying. I didn’t think you would say that to me.” Y/n explained, and Casey looked down. “I know I’m sorry. I should of known you would never make something like that up.” Casey stated, shifting in his feet. “Do you believe me now?” Y/n asked, afraid of the answer. “I think I always believed you, I just didn’t want it to be true so acted on impulse with denial.” Casey explained, placing a hand on y/n’s shoulder. “I think that would be an accurate assumption.” Y/n nodded, before moving to wrap her arms around Casey’s waist. “Come on, let’s head to the firehouse, we still have a shift to finish.” Casey smiled, wrapping his arms around y/n and kissing her head. “Can I stay there tonight?” Y/n asked. “Absolutely.” Casey nodded, moving to allow y/n to step up. “I’m sure the gang are looking to see you.” Kelly stated. “Yea, Kelly here left in such a rush didn’t even explain to them what was happening.” Casey exclaimed, nodding his head to Kelly. “I was more concerned about y/n.” Kelly defended himself. “Thanks Kelly. Where would I be without you?” Y/n smiled, leaning into Kelly’s side. “I wonder the same thing.” Case smiled, knowing that he would of never known his sister if it wasn’t for Kelly. “I’m just your night in shining armor.” Kelly joked, flexing his arm causing y/n to giggle and Casey to shake his head.
Info: Y/n and Riven train together but it leads to conflict between the two friends and Sky comes to help her.
Relationship: Sky x riven x reader (platonic)
Masterlist
Y/n walked around with Saul and Dowling, watching the students of Alfea train together as if getting ready for battle.
"Do you think your ready to train?" Dowling asked her, looking over her shoulder slightly.
"I've been in control for weeks now, I think I'm ready." Y/n nodded causing Dowling to look at Saul who nodded.
"Alright, Riven, Terra, train with y/n." Silva called out to the fairy and specialist who were working together before leaving.
"Ice can overpower earth by killing it, there's no way I can overpower you." Terra stated
"But work together and we can beat them." Y/n stated, indicating to the two specialists, causing Terra to nod as they took their places at the corners.
The two fairies watched as the specialists fought it out before y/n called it out "Now." She shouted at Terra. Terra shot out a vine and y/n threw ice to wrap around it, making it solid and hard to break. The vine moves in between the two specialists tripping up the girl but Riven got out of the way before it could hit him. Y/n rolled her eyes and formed an ice puddle under his feet causing Riven to slip and fall.
"Ouch." Y/n spoke before moving off the platform.
Y/n grabs her drink before sitting beside Riven. Looking ahead, she takes a drink from it as Terra and Riven talked. Hearing Beatrix's name she turns to them as ,watching as Terra leaves
"So I see you have more control now." Riven pointed out.
"Lucky you. You could of had a spike up your spine if I didn't." She joked causing Riven to shiver involuntarily.
"Cold" Riven mumbled
"And sore." Y/n stated before turning her head to watch Sky and Bloom fight a dummy burned one.
"You okay?" Riven asked seeing her staring into space.
"Yeah, just seeing the burned one reminded me of the frozen one." She explained, nodding her head a little.
"Are the frozen ones actually real or did you just make them up?" Riven asked with a smirk.
"What do you mean?" Y/n asked, confused on why he would ask that.
"Just that no ones seen one, we've seen burned ones yeah, but not a frozen one. So who's to say that your not lying."
"Riven they are real, they killed my parents. I seen them die with my own eyes. I can't believe you would even ask me that." Y/n stated, hurt filling her as tears welled up in her eyes.
"Just saying is all." Riven shrugged, putting his hands up in mock surrender.
"I can't believe you." Y/n spoke, standing up in front of him "I'm going to put this down to the whole Beatrix thing because before this year you were the sweetest. Now your just a jerk constantly since you've met her."
"Don't you dare y/n, don't you dare act like the good guy in this okay. I'm not the one who blocked out her friends."
"Because I was grieving Riven, I didn't know what to do and you and Sky were with the girls and I felt like I had no one."
"Oh cut the crap y/n. Beatrix was right, you are an attention seeker." Riven stated as he stood up before moving away from her.
"Hey, everything okay?" Sky asked, jogging up to y/n as he seen Riven walk away from her.
"Somethings not right with Riven, he just said things that were really hurtful, that's not like him Sky." Y/n stated, turning to Sky who seen the tears in her eyes.
"Hey, it's okay. It's just the whole Beatrix thing alright? He hasn't been himself lately, even over summer he changed. I wouldn't worry about it too much alright." Sky comforted her, pulling her into a hug.
"Okay." Y/n spoke, unsure of herself.
"Come on, I've to meet Silva for a bit but then we can do something okay." Sky smiled, offering his hand to her.
"Yeah okay." She smiled, taking her hand before following him into the school building.
---------------------------------------------
Y/n and Sky ran the direction they seen Silva go. Sensing Sky's discomfort she rolled her thumb around his knuckles to calm him down, looking up at him to see him smile in appreciation before letting go of her hand.
"Silva, seriously pairing me with Bloom, it seems pretty obvious." Sky stated causing y/n to look at him in confusion.
"Well, Bloom's a powerful fairy your a powerful specialist no body questioned it."
"Questioned what?" Y/n asked to herself but Silva looked at her before giving Sky a pointed look.
"Y/n can stay." Sky said, giving Silva a pointed look.
"What have you found out?" Silva asked causing y/n to scrunch her eyes in confusion.
"She hasn't said anything about her trip with Beatrix. I'm telling you Bloom isn't some mastermind. The more time I spend with her the more I'm convinced of that. And the more I'm convinced...." Sky looked back at y/n who was watching the two speak in confusion.
"What is it?" Silva asked, causing Sky look back a him.
"Stella's gone, Rivens a mess and just snapped at y/n which he never does, and the person I'm spending the most time with I am spying on." Sky stated, causing y/n to take a step back.
"What you are doing matters. You have to trust me. Everything I do and everything I have done is to keep the otherworld safe. It's something your father and I had in common and yes it's lonely but there is an honor in that Sky." Silva stated, looking his foster son in the eye.
Sky sighed heavily before looking back at y/n who watched him curiously. He looked back at Silva and the two nodded before leaving. Y/n went to follow him when Silva stopped her.
"Y/n." He called causing Sky to look back.
Y/n looked up at him and nodded to say she was listening.
"Help him, I get it's lonely but it might help with you on his side." Silva spoke, causing y/n to nod in agreement.
"I was going to regardless of what you said." Y/n replied before leaving with Sky who sighed and followed her.
---------------------------------------
Y/n and Sky sat in the boys dorm, not speaking a word. Looking around the room, y/n sighed and got up, moving towards the window to look out. Sky watched cautisly from his bed as she didn't speak.
"What ya looking at?" He asked, trying to get a response from her.
"Just watching the specialists. I used to always do that when we weren't talking." She replied, looking back at Sky as he smiled weakly.
"I have to help them find out about Beatrix." Sky tried to explain himself.
"Somethings not right, I can feel it." Y/n spoke.
"How so?" Sky asked, standing slightly from his bed to pull y/n to lie down with him.
"Something bad is going to happen, I just don't know what." She replied, leaning her head on his shoulder.
"Maybe it's just conflict between you and Riven." Sky tried to help.
"Maybe." Y/n nodded, turning to look at the clock on Skys bedside table.
"Why don't you stay the night. I'm sure Riven won't mind." Sky suggested, seeing the dull light shining through the window.
"Silva will give out." Y/n replied with a slight yawn.
"Meh, don't mind him." Sky replied causing y/n to laugh slightly.
"Yeah, maybe I will." Y/n sighed and sitting up to slid down the floor only for Sky to beat her to it.
"Yeah no your staying there. I'll take the floor." He replied, grabbing the throw over which was folded at the bottom of his bed.
"No, Sky." Y/n whined tiredly.
"No arguments." He replied with a yawn as he snatched one of his two pillows from the bed before getting comfy.
"That can't be comfy." She stated, watching as he tossed and turned.
"I'll be fine." Sky insisted before winching as he hit his elbow against the floor.
"Yeah come back up here. There's room for both of us." Y/n insisted, grabbing his elbow and attempting but failing to pull him onto the bed beside her.
Sky sighed but moved back onto the bed, tucking the pillow under his head as he threw the throw over over y/n, knowing she'd most likely get cold at some stage and the blanket wasn't exactly made for two.
"Night Sky." Y/n smiled, curling up on her side with a slight smile.
"Not y/n." Sky replied, moving so he was laying on his back before closing his eyes.
----------------------------------------------------
Silva moved towards the last door on the corridor and knocked before entering upon no reply. He sighed but smiled slightly at the sight of the fairy and specialist curled up together. Some stage after falling asleep y/n had turned to face Sky and was now laying with her head on his chest with Sky's arm wrapped around her shoulder. Silva chucked and moved to close the door when he seen Riven walking down the hall, breathing out the last of the smoke he had breathed in.
"I'm going to take it you weren't smoking regardless of me just seeing you exhale smoke." Silva stated after closing the door.
"Nope, it's quite cold out there, must of been just my breath." Riven replied cheekily.
"Mhmm." Silva hummed with suspicion as he crossed his arms, "Don't wake them going in, your late in by the way." Silva stated before leaving down the hall.
"Them?" Rive asked in confusion before opening the door.
He stopped when he seen two bodies lying on Sky's bed before realizing who it was. Riven chuckled in disbelieve with a shake of his head before moving towards his bed, kicking off his shoes. He watched as Sky moved his head when one of them hit his bed.
"Your back late." Sky muttered tiredly, half asleep.
"Yeah, late night practice." Riven lied.
"Mhmm." Sky hummed, too tied to catch onto the lie as he fell back asleep.
Riven rolled his eyes and lay on his bed, staring at the ceiling before falling asleep.
Info: Y/n goes to see Riven and Sky but it doesn't go as planned, leaving y/n to wonder how to deal with her loss and fear possibly on her own.

Y/n looked around the halls as she made her way to Sky and Rivens dorm. Seeing a picture she stopped, recognizing it as her mother on her graduation day, beside the picture her fathers graduation picture. Looking at them with a sad smile she swallowed thickly as tears came to her eyes.
"Y/n?" She turned to see Silva standing at the top of the stairs close by. "Headmaster Silva." Y/n nodded, rubbing her eyes slightly. "You ok? What are you doing out this late?" He asked as he walked towards her. "I umm, was going to Sky and Rivens room." She said truthfully as she looked down. "I'm going to ignore what you said with all that's going on." Silva stated, pointing at y/n as she glanced up and gave him a soft smile. "How are you feeling anyway?" "Umm, I'm not sure how you expect me to answer that." Y/n shrugged as a tear fell from her eye. "Things will get better y/n, just takes time." "Doesn't seem like it." She said, looking down again. "I know." Silva sighed, placing a hand on her shoulder. "I'm going to go see the boys before late." Y/n sighed before leaving Silva standing in the hall alone.
~~~~~~~~~~~
Y/n turned the bend near the library to see Riven talking to some girl. Watching them, she seen him take a smoke from a cigarette before the girl came closer to him, inhaling the smoke from his mouth. Y/n looked down and sighed before leaving in the opposite direction, making sure not to be seen.
Walking towards the boys room she stood there for a minute before putting her hand to the door. Knocking twice she stood and waited. Not hearing anything, she sighed and knocked again as she opened the door.
Looking ahead her mouth opened in shock at what she seen. Sky was wrapped in Stella's arms, both asleep. She sighed and looked down as tears came to her eyes, thinking both had forgotten.
Wiping her eyes to avoid the tears coming out, she turned only to bump into someone. Looking up she smiled softly as she seen it was riven. He looked down at her in confusion.
"Y/n?" He asked, looking around before sighing seeing Sky in bed with Stella. "What are you doing here? It's late." "Y/n? What's going on?" Y/n and Riven turned their attention to Skys bed as he woke up. "I'm not even going to comment on that situation." Riven stated, pointing at Stella. "Shut up Riven. Y/n what's wrong? I thought you were coming after dinner." Sky asked, grabbing a t-shirt as he went to get up. "I got held up, doing things." Y/n stated with hesitation. "Okay well, what did you want to talk to us about? He asked, sitting up fully. "Oh, umm, it's okay. Clearly you both are busy. I better get back to my room before Silva sees me here. See you tomorrow." Y/n stated, deciding against telling them. "It sounded important." Sky said with a frown as y/n looked down, willing the tears that were building to not fall. "Yeah, just missing home." She replied with a half lie causing Riven to pull her into a hug. "Itll be okay. It's just first day." Riven said in a soft voice as he kissed her forehead. "Yeah your right, its nothing. I'll see you tomorrow." Y/n smiled, heading out to door. "Want me to walk you back to your dorm?" Riven asked. "No it's okay. Night guys." "Night y/n" The boys smiled and waved as she left, not knowing she was swallowing down tears.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Y/n closed the dorm door slowly, avoiding it slamming before heading to her room. Getting ready for bed her eyes caught a glimpse of a picture of her parents. The two were smiling at the camera while her mom held a toddler y/n. Tears filled y/ns eyes and she flipped the photo facing down before falling onto her bed, allowing the tears to fall.
She tried to stay silent as she let down the tears she had been holding in all day. She cried for the loss of her parents, the lack of support she felt from her friends (partially her fault), the feeling of being alone and the fear of the frozen ones coming for her.
Wishing to have someone, especially her best friends, with her, she heard her phone ping, causing her to look at her phone, hoping for a message from Riven or Sky only to see it being the weather. Thunder and hail, much like her feelings, a never ending storm.
Info: Steve and Y/n have been married for many years, having grown up together, and y/n’s wish for Christmas is to go back to the olden days
Relationship: Steve Rogers x reader
Steve and y/n were married for many years, having joined the army together and taken part in Starks studies, they had spent most of their lives together. Y/n had refused to let Steve go through the unknown without her, so had winded up being injected with the super serum as well as Steve. They had ended up in the same plane that crashed many months later, but when they were recovered and defrosted, Steve had asked y/n to marry him straight away. They had their ceremony in a registers office, just the two of them and some random scientist as a bystander.
Now 5 years into their new lives, all was well for them. Y/n couldn’t have children due to the ice damaging her reproductive system, but the couple never cared for that. Their lives were too dangerous to bring a child into the world. Instead, any free time they had together they spent exploring their new world, admiring the advancements of which the world lived in today. What y/n was most fascinated by, was the lights that now dawned the towns or Christmas.
Steve had always known of y/n’s fascination with Christmas. Growing up, she would always be the first to sit on Santa’s knee, and tell him what she wanted that year. Every year she’d wind up at Steves, helping decorate the tree with the few decorations they could afford back then. But seeing her admire the festivities now, brought a smile to his face.
“Whatcha thinking?” He asked with a smile, seeing her dazed off look. “Just admiring.” Y/n sighed, moving to lean her head on his shoulder. “You always did love Christmas.” Steve mused, wrapping an arm around her shoulder. “It’s the most magical time of the year.” Y/n stated, causing Steve to laugh as he buried his head into her hair. “I believe you love.” Steve stated, kissing her head lightly before catching her lips with his. “Makes me miss the olden days though, when the towns weren’t so busy and you could hear the songs that played.” Y/n stated, and Steve looked down at her with a smile. “Really?” “Yea, now adays people are always in a rush, they don’t stop to take in the festivities, or life in general really.” Y/n scrunched her face slightly , causing Steve to smile at her cuteness. “well why don’t we have an olden day Christmas, we can drag some of the others into it too.” “They’d never go for it.” Y/n laughed, picturing their reactions. “I’ll make them do it.” Steve smiled, causing y/n to smile at him, taking his face in her hand. “This is why I love you Rogers, so thoughtful” Y/n stated, pecking her lips. “Only the best for my love.” Steve stated, smiling into the kiss.
--
Christmas morning came all too quickly for the Roger couple. Y/n woke up to an empty bed, but she couldn’t help but smile as she realized the date. She wasn’t that into phones, but Peter had helped her make notifications for important dates, Christmas included. Steve had turned on the small Christmas tree that was in the corner of the room, and y/n couldn’t help but admire the pictures the two had of each other hanging from the branches. Grabbing her dressing gown, y/n grabbed her slippers before walking out the door, gasping at the sight.
Steve had managed to strip back the overload of decorations that Tony had professionals decorate, and in it’s place were strings with baubles dawning the ceiling. It had been a tradition for y/n to make the garlands with her mother this way, and in modern society the decoration wouldn’t fit new traditions. Along the pictures that hung on the walls were pieces of tinsel, each framing the top of pictures, sparking with the light. The stairs had white candles along the sides, and y/n chuckled when she seen they were battery tea lights, knowing that Tony probably would have had a heart attack if they were real ones.
The bottom of stairs showed Steve, standing with a plate of sausage and egg, a traditional morning breakfast in y/n’s childhood. Breathing in the smell deeply, y/n moved to kiss Steve gently before taking the plate of him. Linking his elbow with hers, y/n allowed Steve to bring her into the kitchen where Tony, Natasha, Bruce and Thor sat at the table, each eating their own breakfast identical to hers.
“Steve I love it.” Y/n smiled, placing her plate on the table to hug Steve and kiss his cheek. “Thank God, he had us up all night planning it.” Tony grumbled causing Nat to clip the back of his head. “Ah the good old clip of the ear. Nice touch.” Y/n mused, causing Steve to laugh gently. “When Steve told us you missed your traditional Christmas, we were happy to help.” Nat explained, smiling at the couple as Steve pushed out a chair for his wife to sit on. “Speak for yourself.” Tony grumbled. “Pepper managed to convince Tony.” Steve explained, glaring at Tony from across the table. “Well thank you guys, I really appreciate it.” “It’s not over yet.” Bruce smiled at the couple, and y/n looked at her husband with wide eyes. “Eat up, than you can see.” Steve stated, seeing y/n’s eyes light up.
After breakfast, Bruce and Natasha cleared the table, allowing Steve to bring y/n into the living room. Tony followed close behind, arms crossed as he grumbled about the decorations being too old fashioned. Steve glared back at Tony over his shoulder before taking y/n’s hand as they entered the living room.
“It’s not much but I tried to do it as close to your childhood home as possible.” Steve explained, rubbing the back of his head. “Steve, it’s amazing.”
The real tree had been replaced with a clearly fake, small tree. Colourful lights shone around the tree, and y/n smiled as she seen the teddies that were seen around the bottom of it. There was a hologram of an open fire near the tree, and y/n smiled as she could smell the scent of burning logs. A few boxes decorated with a red bow were seen at the corner of the tree, and y/n couldn’t help the tears that came.
“Steve, I love it.” Y/n sniffed, and Steve smiled as he pulled her closer to him. “I know it’s not exactly the way Christmas was, but I tried as best I could.” “It’s amazing. Thank you.” Y/n smiled, moving to kiss Steve gently. “Merry Christmas my love.” Steve smiled, swinging them gently. “Merry Christmas Rogers.” Y/n smiled, looking to the top of the tree where a cardboard angel lay.
Happy St Pat’s Day to all my fellow Irish buddies!! I know the events & celebrations are virtual & that SUCKS but let’s hope for better times next year!
Info: y/n has been part of the supernatural cast from the beginning as the youngest Winchester. She recently lost her mum from cancer and it’s her first convention since the loss, leading to questions being asked.
Relationship: Supernatural cast x platonic reader
Warnings: Mention of loss of parent, cancer, grief
Y/n lay on her hotel bed, staring at the wall in front of her as she lay on her side. Thoughts of her mum were evident in her mind, the last moments she had with her and the duration of her life with her. y/m/n had just lost her battle with cancer, and at the young age of 21 y/n was completely lost without her. She still remembered getting the call from her father, telling her to come to the hospice because her mother was asking for her. She remembered her dad meeting her at the entrance, him pulling her into a hug and kissing her head, before she walked into her mums room, crouching down to hug her tightly as she whispered her sorries and I love yous.
The funeral had a big turn out, y/m/n was the type that everyone loved for. Among those that turned up for y/n, were Jared and Jensen, along with cast and crew of Supernatural. They had been on a break from filming, and y/n had been at home when she was told her mother unfortunately wasn’t going to win her battle. Jensen remembers y/n calling him in the middle of the night, crying after receiving the news. Their time zone was different, and y/ didn’t think about what time it was, wanting to rant to someone. He was straight on the first flight when she told him her mother had passed, calling Jared on the way, and arrived on her doorstep, confusing her father. It was no secret that y/n had a close relationship with her co-stars, but Jensen and y/n were like the father daughter duo on set. So when the duo turned up, y/f/n just showed them to her room and left them alone. Y/n had been distraught, starring at the wall, wrapped in her mother’s dressing gown that she wore all the time. She refused to acknowledge the two lads at the start, but once she felt Jensen’s hand on her back, she broke down, and she screamed as she clung to him, Jared holding her hand over his shoulder.
---
The hall where the convention was taking place was packed. Crowds of supernatural fans had came, wanting to catch a glimpse of the three Winchesters. Dean, Sam & Isla were fan favorites, and the relationship between the three actors were something people loved to see. When they heard that y/n was returning to conventions after a long personal break, fans went wild, and y/n could feel the energy from back stage. She pulled her top over her hands as she flapped them about, before gasping in shock when arms wrapped around her from behind.
“Please welcome the Winchester clan, Jensen Ackles, Jared Padalaecki and the lovely, y/n l/n.” Was heard over the speaker before y/n moved away from Jensen as they walked up the steps.
“I’m with you if you need me.” Jensen’s voice came over her shoulder before kissing her cheek.
“Yea.” Y/n spoke softly, leaning back on him, smiling at Jared as he came to them, doing their handshake.
Y/n giggled a little as Jared jokingly slipped on the last step before waving to the crowd while Jensen messed with Jared in picking him up and making sure he’s ok. Y/n rolled her eyes at their antics before sitting on the middle seat, waiting for the guys to sit down before shaking her head. She tried to keep a smile on her face as the Q&A begun.
Y/n smiled out to the crowd as the crowd settled down from the comedic start, waving at some of the phones that were evidently recording. Jensen couldn’t help but watch y/n for a moment with a slight smile before turning his attention back to the fans as the questions begun. Y/n was relieved that most questions were upbeat.
“Are you alright Jared?” Y/n asked, placing a hand on Jared’s arm in comfort.
“I don’t know, that was a big fall.” Jared stated, pouting a bit.
“Well with your height I’m not surprised.” Y/n teased him, and he gasped in mock hurt as laughs were heard.
“Why I never.” Jared stated.
“She’s back.” Jensen smiled to the crowd, holding a hand to y/n as Jared moved away from y/n.
“My question is for Jensen and Jared.” A woman around the lads age spoke out.
“That’s exclusion.” Y/n piped out, pointing at the woman who looked down.
“Now y/n, let’s not be rude and let the nice lady ask her question.” Jensen scolded y/n jokingly, causing y/n to hang her head in shame.
“I have grown to feel like I have watched y/n grow up on screen, and I find it emotional watching her character evolve from the little scared girl to the young independent woman, and I was wondering how does it feel to watch y/n grow from the little 7 year old girl to this young 21 year old woman we see in front of us today.” The woman spoke, and y/n blushed as she looked down.
“Well I for one am personally incredibly honored to have had the chance to be around y/n since she was so young, you know. It’s not something that typically happens in our line of work, you know, working for 13, 14 years together. You generally don’t get that opportunity a lot of the time.” Jensen spoke, using his hands to express himself.
“Most of the time children don’t last very long on a show, they just don’t have the attention span. So when I first seen that there was going to be a little girl or boy, we didn’t know at the time whether or not Dean and Sam were going to have a little brother or sister, I was a little taken aback. Because the hours we do are so demanding and obviously you can’t have a child on set for 13 14 hours a day, you know, it’s not realistic. But y/n, you know, the moment we done auditions with her, we automatically knew that she was a good match for us.” Jared explained, smiling at the memory of their first meeting.
“Y/n was this shy little girl when she came in and as soon as Bobby called action she just turned like that “ Jensen clicked his fingers together, “She was amazing, and I mean you guys seen on the show how great she was.” Jensen bragged, causing cheers to abrupt from the crowds.
“Alright alright.” y/n spoke, using her hands to tell them to pip down.
“No but honestly, this woman. She really is something else. I mean watching her grow up, I have enjoyed it. I still remember her clinging to me on set every day for the first few months of filming. She would refuse to leave my side if she could.” Jensen smiled softly, placing a hand on y/n’s shoulder.
“Yea she took to you really quickly, which kinda hurt I won’t lie.” Jared joked at the end, making y/n smile sadly at him. “Nah, but she has truly become family, and there is nothing that I wouldn’t do for this kid.” Jared spoke proudly, taking y/n’s hand in his to give it a squeeze.
“I still remember when she was young she came to these conventions and mostly stayed behind, but every now and then she would run on stage, if the guys were playing she would dance with the beat until myself or Jared would take her. She would just sit there with her goofy little smile, poking us with her little fingers until we would jokingly bite them.” Jensen spoke with a laugh, causing y/n to giggle slightly.
“Now she hurts with her words so I guess some things never change.” Jared joked causing y/n’s jaw to drop in mock shock.
“She has grown so much more confident in herself which I love to see. I’m like a proud father I have to say.” Jensen spoke with a smile, causing the crowd to awe as y/n leaned her head on Jensen's shoulder.
“Thank you for your question.” Jared smiled at the woman before they moved onto a younger girl.
Moving to the corner of the stage, y/n kneeled down as she watched the girl rush towards her. Tears built in y/n’s eyes as he wrapped her arms around the girl who was close in age to her, breathing out heavily as she controlled her emotions before speaking.
“Hey guys, my name’s Amelia.” The girl spoke softly.
“Hi Amelia.” Y/n smiled at the girl who was close to y/n’s age.
“Who’s your question for Amelia?” Jared asked.
“ My questions for y/n.” She spoke hesitantly.
“Yes.” Y/n celebrated, smiling widely at the girl.
“I don’t want to thread on your emotions and I know this is a little personally, but as we all know you just lost your mum to cancer.” The girl spoke timidly, and y/n’s breath hitched a little as she nodded, “ And well, I recently just got told that my mum hasn’t got that long left so I was just wondering, how do you deal with that news?”
Jensen and Jared looked at y/n with sad smiles, not knowing how she would react or what to say.
“Can you come closer, because firstly I want to give you a hug.” Y/n spoke with a cough, and she dropped the mike on the chair as she got up.
Y/n smiled a watery smile as she felt the tears begin to fall. Quickly wiping them she stood back up from her position and headed back to where Jensen and Jared were watching the scene with sad smiles. Jared placed a hand on her back as she grabbed her mike and sat back down before Jensen took her hand, squeezing it.
“You make your mum proud, I can tell how much she means to you. My mum meant a lot to me too,, still does. But you have to brave for her which isn’t easy. Watching her go from the strong woman you know to someone who relies on you for everything isn’t easy. I’ve been there, it’s not nice. But you can’ show her how you feel. If she sees you smile, she’ll be happy. And that’s all that matters.” YY/n whispered to her, not breaking the hug.
“I’m scared of life without her.” The girl sobbed.
“I know you are, I was too. I still am, just remember the good times. And remember, there are people around you who are there for you. I’m here for you. Never forget that.” Y/n whispered before kissing the girls cheek and moving apart from her.
“Thank you.” The girl stated softly, wiping her cheeks.
“It doesn’t matter who you are or what age you are, grief is always tough. It comes in waves. But it hits different when you’ve been told your going to lose someone close to you, and you have to grieve them while they’re right in front of you. You grieve the times you had before and the times you’ll never have. But what never changes, is the love you have for them.” Y/n spoke with shaky breathes, and the crowd smiled weakly at her. “I love you mum.” Y/n spoke softly into the mike, and Jensen pulled her into a hug as the tears began to fall.
Info: Tony Stark wasn’t one for singing while sober, but he finds it hard to say no when his daughter asks him to join her choir.
Relationship: Tony Stark x daughter reader
Tony Stark wasn’t a man with a voice for singing. He avoided music like the plaque while sober, much to the dismay of his daughter. 12 year old y/n stark was a natural when it came to singing, even Tony could see that. From a young age she would bounce around the house, singing at the top of her lungs, even when her father would tell her to shut it. Tony would be the first to admit he wasn’t always the best father, but he grew into the role slowly, even when it included him going to shows his daughter put on with the school.
Christmas was the time Tony dreaded most. He knew it was only a matter of time before y/n would show him the leaflet, portraying the schools latest musical of the year. It wasn’t that he wasn’t proud of his daughter, he was, musicals just weren’t his thing. He loved the extravagant costumes, but the lengthy show with few talented people in it had him bored very quickly. If he had his way he would leave after seeing his daughter perform, but like any Stark she took it to the top, making her one of the leads each year.
“Dad, look.” Y/n called out, running through the front door with Happy close behind. “There’s my little star, what’s this?” Tony asked, accepting the hug the girl gave her before taking the piece of paper in her outstretched hand. “A note from the school, we’re not doing a show this year.” Y/n spoke, slightly disheartened at the news. “Why not?” Tony asked, secretly happy with the news. “There’s not enough interest this year, so instead we are going Carol singing.” Y/n explained, shrugging her shoulders before jumping in excitement. “Carol singing, that’ll be fun.” Pepper smiled at the girl as she walked into the living room. “And the best part is, they’re asking the parents to join us.” Y/n beamed, causing Tony to do a double take. “Sorry?” Tony asked, hoping he heard her wrong. “Please say you’ll come dad, everyone else has someone coming.” Y/n stated, taking Tony’s hand in hers. “Y/n you know I don’t do singing. That’s your area of expertise.” Tony groaned, leaning back in his chair more. “It’s carols, you don’t have to be perfect.” Y/n stated with a hand on her hip. “Sorry y/n.” Tony sighed, crossing her arms stubbornly. “Come on Tony, go with your daughter, it’ll be fun.” Pepper tried to help Starks daughter, knowing Tony would be hard to budge. “I don’t sing.” Tony stated, throwing his arms out. “Please daddy, it would make my day.” Y/n spoke, intertwining her hands together while she gave him the puppy dog eyes. “Don’t do that, you’ll make me feel bad.” Tony stated, hating when his daughter threw it at him. “Bad enough that you’ll come with me?” Y/n asked, chancing her luck. “Tony..” Pepper asked, encouraging him to help his daughter. “When is it?” Tony sighed, throwing his head back. “Next week.” Y/n squealed, moving to jump on her father. “Thank you dad.” “Your welcome.” Tony sighed, still not thrilled with the idea of him singing.
“God I hope we have a mission that week.” Tony mumbled, pinching his nose as y/n moved up the stairs to her room. “Tony.” Pepper scolded, hitting his chest lightly.
-------
The week flew by quicker than Tony would of liked. Y/n had been buzzing all week for the night the school went carolling, and had told all the avengers about it, much to the dismay of Tony. Natasha had even put down the compound as a pit stop for the class to sing at. Now, Tony stood by the front door waiting on his daughter ,donning a sour look that was a big contract to his festive jumper y/n made him put on.
Y/n was quick to drag him over to her class when they got outside the car at the school. Parents greeted Tony with smiles on their face while they chatted amongst themselves, and it wasn’t long until the teacher walked around, handing out music booklets. Flipping through the pages, Tony frowned as he seen all the traditional songs, before looking up as y/n grabbed his hand. The father daughter duo stuck together, as did the other families while they walked the pavement to do to door.
Keeping near the back, Tony tried not to sing, but receiving a glare from the teacher who stood in front to keep them all together, he cleared his throat and begun to sing. Each song seemed to drag on longer than intended, and he couldn’t help but look confused when the teacher signalled for them to quiet down in the middle of ‘jingle bells’. Hearing a familiar voice, he couldn’t help but move to the side of the crowds, trying to catch who it was. His eyes widened when he seen each kid singing a line on their own, watching y/n as he sung hers. She turned slightly to face her father, and reached out for his hand.
Seeing his daughters delight, Tony cleared his throat and moved to stand by y/n. Not hearing her father singing, y/n opted to squeeze his hand tightly, and Tony looked down to glare at her before seeing her puppy eyes once again. Sighing, he opened his mouth to sing once again, and seeing his daughters face light up, he looked around at each parent, starting to sing louder. Moving away from his daughter, Tony stood with the rest of the adults, where they begun to sway to the beat. The children laughed in awe as they moved away to watch the display each adult showed, but the one Tony cared about was y/n.
Y/n ‘s face was hurting from all the smiling she did. Seeing her father enjoying himself made her enjoy the carolling a little more. It wasn’t often she would see her father enjoying himself when it came to singing, in fact she knew he tried to avoid it all costs. But seeing him getting into it as they went through the houses, even dancing along when they were performing for the compound. At the end of the night the father daughter duo were beyond tired, and y/n lay her head on Tony’s shoulder as they sat at the back of the car.
“That wasn’t so bad.” Tony commented, looking down at his daughter. “Maybe we could do it more often.” Y/n suggested, and Tony laughed. “I didn’t say that now.” Tony disagreed with a shake of his head. “I seen the way you were today dad, you enjoyed it admit it.” “I did, but I think I’ll leave the singing to you.” Tony admitted, shaking his head yes. “I got today, that’s all I care about.” y/n smiled, snuggling into her father more. “I’m glad your happy.” Tony smiled, wrapping an arm around her to kiss her head. “I’ll get you next year though.” Y/n commented as she closed her eyes, leaving Tony to look ahead like a deer caught in head lights.
Info: During Casey and Voight's falling out Voight goes for the one person Casey cares about the most, his 16 year old sister y/n.
It had been a week since the incident between Voight trying to talk to Y/n. Casey had been overprotective since then, dropping her to school and having someone collect her every day. The crew at firehouse 51 always made sure someone was with her to prevent anything bad happening to her.
Casey sighed as he pulled up to the school, turning to y/n as she took her seat belt off.
"Alright, I'll pick you up straight after school. I'll still be on call so no hanging around." Casey pointed at her causing y/n to sigh and roll her eyes. "Can't I just walk to firehouse, it's not that far to walk." She asked causing Casey to shake his head in disagreement. "I don't want you on your own after Voight. Don't want to take any chances." "Come on Case, I'll be careful." She persisted. "Y/n no alright, I'll pick you up here after school, no later okay. Now please don't fight with me on this." Casey stated, giving y/n a warning look. "Uggh fine." Y/n groaned, grabbing her bag from the back. "Alright I love you." Casey stated with a smile as y/n kissed his cheek. "Yeah love you too." Y/n muttered as she jumped out of the truck and closed the door.
Casey watched as his sister walked up the steps to the school before leaving when she was out of sight.
----------------------------
Casey sat at the table in the firehouse canteen, eating lunch while talking to Hermann.
"So how's all with y/n?" Hermann asked, gaining the rest of firehouses attention. "She's good you know. Getting a little annoyed on having someone collect her and being here all the time. She wanted to walk home but I can't chance it with what's going on." "Yeah, I get that. She want's her independence but you've got to protect her as well." Hermann explained. "Exactly. I don't like not letting her do her own thing but God I don't know what I would do without her in my life." Casey shook his head, looking down slightly. "Your a good brother Casey." Hermann stated, pointing at him. "Thanks Hermann, I appreciate it." Casey slapped his hand on Hermann's shoulder gently.
The crew looked up as the alarm went off, alerting them of a fire.
"Truck 81, Squad 3, Ambulance 61, school fire, Chicago high." The voice announced.
"Isn't that y/n's school?" Kelly stated as they stood up. "Yeah." Casey sighed in concern as he rushed to the fire truck, everyone else following suit.
Casey's leg bounced impatiently as Cruz turned on the sirens, rushing to get to the school. Mouch and Hermann glanced at each other in concern as they watched their lieutenant worry over his sister. They rushed out of the truck as they came to the scene, Squad 3 and ambulance pulling up behind them as Chief Boden rushed passed them in his car.
"Alright, guys masks on. Cruz, Otis and Mouch take lower end, Mills and Hermann, your with me." Casey stated as he took his helmet off to put the mask on. "Got it lieutenant." Hermann nodded before they headed into the fire, Squad following them in.
Boden scanned the area before seeing the crowds of students to the far side. He turned to his side as a woman in a suit rushed towards him.
"I'm the principal of the school, We think the fires started in the lab." She announced, watching as the firemen brought out students from the building. "What would be the cause?" Boden asked. "I dunno, it's a science lab so got only knows." She stated as Hermann walked towards him. "Everyone from the bottom two floors have been brought out, Casey and Kelly are checking the top floor." Hermann stated to Boden.
"There's still someone in there." The principal stated, coming back over to the chief firefighter. "What's their name?" Boden asked. "I dunno, a girl..............." The principal stuttered. "Y/n Casey." A student called out, causing Hermann and Boden to side eye each other in concern. "That smokes not looking too good." Mouch stated, pointing at the smoke that was slowly turning black.
"Casey, Kelly, update on location." Boden called out in his radio, turning to face the fire. "Nearly finished on top floor, doesn't seem to be anyone here so should be out shortly." Kelly's voice came through to them. "Is y/n out there?" Casey asked, his voice full of concern causing Hermann to raise his eye brows warily at Boden who looked at him before sighing. "She's the only student not here." Boden replied, unsure of how his two firemen would react.
Kelly looked at Casey as he threw his head up in frustration when their chief stated that his sister wasn't out. The squads lieutenant sighed and went to answer back into the radio.
"We're going to scan the building again, maybe we missed her." Kelly stated, glancing at Casey as he headed into a room, calling for his sister. "Kelly that smokes not looking too great." Boden warned them. "I'm not leaving without her." Casey stated to Kelly, heading into a new room. "Yeah Chief we got it." Kelly replied, sighing before following Casey.
Boden sighed and looked at rest of firehouse 51. Shay and Dawson only glanced his way before aiding another student who had minor burns. Mouch and Hermann rolled their heads to the side as they looked at each other before looking back at the school, monitoring the smoke.
"Y/n!!" Casey called out, kicking a door down as he entered the last room on the top floor. "Casey, she mustn't be here, we should check down below." Kelly called out, appearing at the doorway. "You check middle, I'll check bottom." Casey shouted back before they headed down. They turned around as debree fell onto the stairs. "We need to work fast, there's no telling how long we have left." Kelly called out. "We need to find her." Casey stated before rushing down towards the bottom floor.
"Casey Kelly, we need you out of there now." Boden called out, not liking having to say it. "Chief we haven't found her." Kelly stated in disagreement. "I'm sorry Kelly but that place is about to blow so you need to leave now." Boden stated with urgency.
Kelly sighed but headed towards the stairs, scanning the rooms briefly in hopes of seeing the young Casey. Reaching the bottom of the stairs he seen Casey rushing towards the back of the hall of the bottom floor.
"Casey, we've got to go." Kelly stated, rushing towards him and grabbing his arm. "I need to find her Kelly." Casey said with urgency, not looking at him as he kicked a chair out of the way. "This place is about to go up so we have to go." Kelly stated with urgency. "Y/n's in here somewhere." Casey replied. "I'm sorry Casey." Kelly stated, eyes watering as he started pushing Casey out of the burning building as it started collapsing behind them.
-----------------------------
The two lieutenants got out of the door before throwing themselves onto the ground as the fire blew up. Hermann and Capp rushed towards them and helped them up as Otis, Cruz and Mills began letting the fire out. Casey pushed them away as he turned towards Kelly as tears built in his eyes.
"The hell Severide." He shouted, pushing Kelly back as the squad leader allowed him to. "Casey!!" Boden warned as he came towards them, Hermann and Mouch holding Casey back from Severide. "You seen there Casey, the place would of collapsed on us if we were in there any longer." Kelly shouted at him, his own tears building as the whole of firehouse 51 watched on with sadness.
Casey glanced at his firehouse co-workers, each looking at him with sadness and worry at the possibility that the light of firehouse 51 being gone.
"Maybe she got out without anyone knowing, or maybe someone didn't realize it was her they got out." Mills stated, with slight hope.
Casey closed his eyes, taking a deep breath before rushing over to the ambulance as Shay and Dawson wheeled a student into the ambulance.
"Dawson, have you seen y/n?" He asked with hope. "No I'm sorry, is she not here?" Dawson asked with worry. "Damn it." Casey muttered, turning to watch people hurry around the fire scene.
He turned his attention to a car pulling up to the scene, glaring at it when he seen who it was. Voight looked at him as he got out of the car before turning his attention to Boden as he walked towards the detective.
"Voight." Chief nodded as the crew turned to watch them. "Just here for observation, school fires, wanna make sure it wasn't achieved on purpose." Voight stated, nodding at Casey who glared at him. "Unknown yet, started at lab area so probably a case of unfortunate events." Kelly stated as he moved closer to Casey to make sure he doesn't do anything drastic. "Your sister go here?" Voight asked Casey as he pointed at the burned school, causing Casey to go for him. "Hey easy man." Kelly called out, grabbing Casey as Boden put his hand up in warning. "I think it's time that you left Voight." Boden stated, giving a hard look at the detective who nodded before leaving.
"Any luck seeing her?" Boden asked, turning to Casey once the detective was out of sight. "No, none of the ambulances have seen her." Casey, stated, shaking his head in concern. "We've evaluated the building and there's no sign of anyone in there." Capp stated as he walked towards Kelly, Casey and Boden. "That's fortunate." Mouch stated, relief evident in his voice. "Yeah but we still don't know where she is." Hermann stated causing the rest to nod in agreement. "Come with me to the hospital, make sure she wasn't brought there without you knowing." Boden stated to Casey before turning to the rest, "The rest of you head back to the department, we'll let you know if she's there." He ordered the before heading to his car, Casey following as Kelly hit his back in reassurance.
---------------------------------------
Casey rubs his head in concern as Boden rushes through traffic, sirens blaring. He turns into the hospital parking area and Casey jumps out before the car stops, heading towards the nurses desk in the emergency area as he ignored the receptionist. He slammed his hands onto the desk, scaring Maggie as she looked up from paperwork.
"Casey......." Maggie started. "Was my sister brought here." He asked desperately, interrupting the head nurse. "Casey I don't....." "Y/n Casey, was she brought in here from the school fire." Casey asked, looking at Maggie with desperation to find his sister. Maggie looked at Casey before turning to the computer closest to her, checking for y/n's name on the system. There's no y/n Casey here, are you sure she was brought in." Maggie asked but Casey ignored her as he moved back, hands on his head as he rubbed his face before rushing out.
"She's not there." Casey stated to Boden as he got back into the chiefs car. "Maybe she made her way back to the firehouse, don't lose hope yet Casey." Boden stated before rushing back towards the firehouse.
"Hi, this is y/n, sorry I can't answer right now, call back later." Y/ns cheery voice called through the phone, causing tears to build in Casey's eyes for fear of losing his baby sister.
-------------------------------
Casey paced the floor of his office as he tried calling his sister once again. It had been two hours since they left the scene of the school fire and Casey was beyond worried. No one had heard anything from her and everyone was starting to fear for the young girls life. She hadn't been found in the building after the fire was extinguished which means that she could be anywhere on her own.
Sighing in frustration, Casey threw his phone onto the desk as he sits down on his chair, face in his hands. He takes a deep breath as he tries to calm himself down as he hears footsteps coming towards him. Looking up he seen Dawson knocking on the door.
"Hey, any luck?" She asked. "No, haven't heard anything." Casey stated with a sigh, rubbing a hand down his face. "Antonios here with news on the fire." She stated, looking at Casey as he stood up. "Great." He replied, making his way to the canteen where the rest of firehouse 51 had gathered.
"Alright, what have we got?" Boden asked, glancing at Casey as he and Kelly moved to his side. "The fire was started on purpose. According to the principal it had started in the lab area so it was probably done t try distract the attention as an experiment gone wrong." Antonio stated. "Do you know who could of caused it?" Kelly asked, his arms crossed. "Could be student, teacher, someone who possibly got into the school to start it. We're currently working on finding who done it but no one say anything out of the ordinary." Antonio shrugged. "Right well if you need any assistance with this case let us know." Boden stated, crossing his arms as he stepped back. "Course." Antonio nodded before moving away from the group of firefighters. "I'll see you out." Gabby smiled at his brother before walking off with him.
"Hey Casey, any word on your sister?" Hermann asked, worry laced on his face as he looked at his lieutenant. "No nothing yet but still trying." Casey replied with a sigh as everyone looked at him. "God, it's been two hours." Cruz muttered to Otis as the two looked at each other. "I hope she's ok." Otis replied with a nod at Cruz. "Maybe we could check with Antonio, he might of heard of something talking to the school." Kelly stated, looking at Boden and Kelly. "Good idea." Boden pointed at Kelly before turning as Casey walked off to where the Dawson siblings left.
"Antonio." Casey called out, running to catch up with the detective and his sister. "Casey." Antonio nodded at him, leaving the conversation he was having with Gabby. "Hey have you heard of anything about a missing girl." Casey asked, pointing slightly at the detective. "Why?" Antonio asked in confusion. "Casey's sister y/n hasn't been in contact with him since the fire and she goes to that school." Dawson explained to her brother causing the detective to nod. "There hasn't been anything on any missing person from the fire, no said anything. Are you sure no one has heard from her? Maybe she left early or something." Antonio explained the possible scenarios. "No, my sister isn't like that. She likes school so wouldn't just up and leave. She hasn't been in contact with anyone and I'm worried as there wasn't anyone found after the assessment of the building." Casey shook his head. "Have you got a picture of her, I can look into it and see if any kid we questioned about the incident matches her." "Yeah, there's one in my office." Casey nodded, signaling for the detective to follow him. "Here." He stated, grabbing a picture of y/n smiling with a milkshake beside her from his pin board, handing it to Antonio. "Great, I'll let you know what I find." Antonio stated before leaving. "Thanks Antonio." Dawson smiled, leaning against the door as his brother left.
Casey sighed and moved to his chair, sitting on it as he sighed deeply. Gabby sighed as the firefighter ran his hands over his face in frustration. She moved closer and placed a hand on his shoulder.
"Don't worry, Antonio will find something out." Dawson assured Casey, rubbing his back gently as he bounced his leg with worry. "I just want her back here, safe." Casey stated, causing Dawson to sigh. "Yah, I think we all do." Dawson stated with a look of worry for the young girl.
----------------------
Kelly looked up from the squad table as footsteps were heard rushing into the firehouse. Seeing Hailey, he got up and came towards her.
"Kelly where's ...." "Casey's in his office." Kelly stated, interrupting the out of breath doctor.
Hailey nodded and rushed towards her fiancés office. Casey looked up as he heard the footsteps and stands up when he sees who it is.
"I'll leave you two alone." Dawson stated before leaving, smiling softly at Hailey before closing the door.
"Maggie told me you were looking for y/n, is she here, is she safe, is she ok?" Hailey asked as she hugged Casey. "Haven't heard from her, I've been trying to contact her but it keeps going to voicemail. Antonio is looking for her now." Casey explained, tears filling his eyes for the first time since the incident. "Hey Matt, look at me, she'll be okay." Hailey tries to reassure her fiancé, cupping his face in her hands. "I just, I can't bare the fact that I don't know where she is, she's my baby sister Hails, I've raised her since she was one, I can't, I need to know she's okay, I need to know where she is." Casey cries, sitting on his bed with tears flowing down his cheeks. "Matt, listen to me, she will be found, it'll be okay, she'll soon be back here with you okay." Hailey tried to comfort him as he rubbed his arm gently. "I just want her back Hail's, I can't bare the fact that she could be anywhere, maybe unconscious...." "Don't think like that" Hailey interrupted him, putting a hand on his cheek to force him to look at her. She kissed him gently before before hugging him again as he cries. "I need her back Hails." He cried, clinging to her. "I know, I know." She stated, running her hand through his hair, trying to calm him down.
---------------------------
Y/n groaned in pain as she leaned against a wall in an alley. Burns and cuts were littered all over her from the fire and her head was pounding. The guy who had been around her since she woke up gripped her arms and forced her to stand up.
"What's wrong sweetheart, scared I'll hurt you." He jeered in her face. "I think that's enough, no need to hurt her." A voice called out. Y/n glanced to the side to see a figure coming close to the man who had been around her as he walked away. " Here." The same man that spoke before stated, handing him something.
The guy who had been at her glanced towards y/n before nodding at the new man before walking away. Y/n sat up weakly, rubbing her head before looking up when she heard someone coming towards her. She moved back, her back hitting the wall as the man crouched in front of her.
"Oh don't worry y/n, I'm not going to hurt you. I think you've suffered enough now." The man spoke causing y/n to look up at him, recognizing him as Voight. "What?" Y/n asked in confusion. "Just tell your brother something for me, if he withdraws the claim against my son then all of this will go away." Voight stated, bringing his hands up to y/ns shoulders. "Why are you doing this?" Y/n asked, gasping in pain. "I really didn't want to bring you into this but my sons a good boy and your brother might ruin his chances of having a good life." He stated causing y/ to nod before scrunching her face in pain. "Let's get you back to the firehouse, I'm sure there worried about you." Voight stated before offering y/n his hand as he stood up.
------------------------
Firehouse 51 sat around the canteen, not speaking as they worried over the youngest Casey. Casey sighed as he tried calling his sister again, all but throwing his phone down when it went through to voicemail once again. Hailey had gone back to work with promises of contacting her fiancé if y/n turned up at the hospital. He leaned his head against the wall as Kelly sat across from him.
"Still nothing?" He asked, looking at his friend. "No, I'm worried man, she always answers my calls, or at least texts if she can't answer, no matter what she's doing." Casey stated, leaning on the table via his arms. "God I hope she's ok." Kelly stated, concerned for his youngest friend who he thought of as a sister.
"Casey!!! We need you." Gabby shouted from the parking lot as Mills runs into the cafeteria where most of the crew had looked up at the sound. "It's y/n." He stated, pointing behind him as Casey rushed towards the parking lot, the crew not too far behind.
"Y/n." Casey shouted in relief when he seen his sister, Dawson close by her. He ran towards where Gabby kneeled beside his sister, y/n lying on the ground tiredly. "She has burns and cuts all over her but they don't seem severe." Gabby stated, glancing at Casey as he stopped beside her, placing a hand on his sister cheek as he watched her with concern. "Bring her here." Shay shouted from the ambulance as he opened the back doors.
Casey brought one arm under his sisters back, the other going under her knees before lifting her up bridal style, heading towards the ambulance with Gabby following close behind.
"Casey." Y/n called weakly. "Hey, I'm here, your okay, your safe." He reassured her, kissing her head gently as they reached the ambulance.
Casey placed y/n onto the stretcher before watching from the doors as Shay and Dawson examined her. Kelly moved closer to Casey, placing a hand on his shoulder as they watched the paramedics place an oxygen mask over her mouth and nose. The rest of firehouse 51 gathered around the ambulance, watching on with concern for the young girl.
"Her burns don't look severe, cut's aren't too deep, y/n sweetheart are you hurt anywhere." Shay asked as she listened to y/ns breathing. "No, just tired. Where's Casey?" Y/n asked, rapidly looking for her brother. "He's just at the doors sweetie, don't move too much alright. I'm just going to patch you up." Gaby assured the young girl, pointing to Casey as Shay jumped down from the ambulance. "I don't think she's done any internal damage, her burns and cuts aren't too bad so they will clear up, she'll be fine after some rest but if she does show anything out of the ordinary we can bring her to med." Shay explained to Casey as Dawson treated y/ns cuts and burns.
Casey nods and moved onto the ambulance after Dawson got down. Bent down slightly, he moved towards y/n who reached up to her brother when she seen him. Smiling, he removed the mask from his sisters face before lifting her up into his arms. Kelly patted y/ns head as he helped Casey down before they left to his office.
"Come on little one, you can rest in my office." Casey smiled, kissing y/ns head as she clung to his neck. "I'm sorry for worrying you." Y/n stated tiredly, snuggling into her brothers chest as he opened the door with his foot. "Hey, don't worry about that, I'm just glad your okay. I was afraid something had happened to you." Casey reassured her as he lay y/n on his bed before crouching down near her head as she turned to face him "You okay?" He asked, petting her hair gently. "Yeah, you?" She asked with a smile. "I am now that your here." He stated, leaning down to kiss her temple "What happened?" He asked in concern. "I was in english class when the fire alarm went off, we made our way to the fire exit but I got trapped so I made my way to a empty classroom, closed the door and looked for water to make a face cover as you had told me to do countless of times. I think I breathed in smoke or something as I must of passed out because next thing I know I was in an alley with a guy pushing me against a wall." She stated causing Casey to look at her with worry as he grabbed her arm and rubbed it gently "Voight came after, gave him something, told him he needed me not harmed and then he came over to me" Y/n stopped as Casey's face hardened. "He didn't do anything to you, did he" Casey asked with wariness in his voice. "No he just told me to tell you that if you wanted it to stop, you just had to withdraw the claim" Y/n explained tiredly "I'm tired'" She stated, yawning gently at the end, "you get some sleep, I'll be here when you wake up unless called out. I just have to talk to Boden about something" Casey stated, kissing y/ns head before getting up from his crouched position. "I love you Casey." Y/n muttered as she closed her eyes. "I love you too." Casey smiled, relieved to have her back close to him.
-----------------------------
Casey walked into the canteen to see majority of the crew sitting around, chatting away. The air was more at ease now that y/n was back safe. Kelly looked towards Casey and nodded as he nodded for him to follow, before moving to Hermann and Mouch, asking them to follow them to Bodens office.
"Casey, how is y/n?" Boden asked, seeing him walk in along with Kelly, Hermann and Mouch. "Yeah she's resting in my office." Casey nodded, closing the door behind Mouch. "Did she anything of what happened?" Kelly asked, watching as Casey stiffened. "Yeah, it's not good." Casey stated, sitting on the chair in front of Bodens desk, Mouch taking the other one. "Well, what happened?" Hermann asked. She said she got trapped during the fire so went into a room and done water on a piece of cloth but must of inhaled smoke or something as net thing she knew she was in an alley wit ha guy pushing her against a wall." Casey stated causing the men to inhale a sharp breath. "Did he?" Mouch asked, unable to finish his question. "She said no one hurt her but Voight did come up them, gave the man money and then brought her here. Said if I wanted this to stop then I had to withdraw the claim against his son." "So Voight organized this?" Boden asked fro clarification. "From what y/n said yes." Casey nodded, holding back his anger. "Jesus why would Voight do that to a young girl like y/n" Hermann stated in shock, leaning on the back of Casey's chair. "Revenge." Kelly stated bluntly, glaring in front of him. "Casey it's your choice here, we can have y/n here at all times till this blows over" Boden stated. "I'm not withdrawing that claim" Casey stated with determination. "Then y/n stays here till somethings sorted. Have Antonio come here and tell him what happened, Voight's gone for the wrong person this time." Boden stated causing the rest to nod "Thanks chief" Casey nodded in appreciation for the guys. "She's family, and no one in out family gets hurt" Mouch stated as the rest nodded in agreement before the alarm went off for them to get to work.
Info: Living on the road means no Christmas tree, but Dean makes sure his little sister has some of the Christmas magic.
Relationship: Winchester brothers x sister
Living on the road with an 8 year old was hard, but during the Christmas period it was harder for the brothers to keep their little sister lively. Seeing all the Christmas trees at each motel they went to, y/n always frowned when she seen the boxes that were underneath the tree. When they went to victims houses and see the piles of presents underneath the tree for the kids, Dean felt disheartened, knowing his sister couldn’t have that. But he wanted her to have some form of a normal childhood, so tried to do something special for her each year.
Y/n always stood admiring the Christmas lights that dotted the shops ceilings during Christmas time. She loved to press the buttons of each teddy bear or decoration she seen, much to the annoyance of her brothers. For an 8 year old she was very understanding when it came to their lives being very different to that of a normal family, but December she was always disappointed, knowing she couldn’t have the Christmas joy regular kids her age had.
“Sam, what is Christmas?” Y/n asked, looking up at her older brother innocently. Sam’s heart broke a little, knowing she wouldn’t get to experience the magic. “Well, Christmas is different for everyone. But for most of the world it’s a time for family and presents.” Sam spoke as he crouched down to his sister. “Why do they have a tree indoors?” Y/n asked, confused. “Well they place presents under the tree and then open them on Christmas day.” “Why don’t we have that?” “A tree in baby, no way.” Dean remarked, shaking his head rapidly at the thought. “No silly, presents.” Y/n giggled, and Dean and Sam looked at each other with sadness. “Our gift is each other, that we survived another year of hunting.” Dean smiled, crouching down beside Sam. “I like our present.” Y/n smiled widely, throwing her arms around her brothers necks. “Me too.” Sam sighed, patting his sisters back slightly.
Y/n pulled apart from the two older Winchesters before running down the aisle to where a large bear was dressed up as Santa and dancing. Sam watched her as she began wiggling with it with a laugh before looking to Dean who was moving away from him.
“Where are you going?” Sam asked his brother, frowning at him. “Getting her a selection box.” Dean stated, moving towards the chocolate section. “Your gonna make her hyper.” Sam called out. “No, I’m gonna give her Christmas memories.” “With a box of chocolates?” “Every kid loves them Sam.” Dean remarked, throwing his arms out before flipping him off.
True to Deans word, he got y/n a selection box, and she was over the moon to see the box cut out like a stocking . And true to Sams word, she became hyper on the chocolate, refusing to leave even one bar left. She winded up causing herself a sugar crash with all the giddiness she had, and Sam glared at Dean who avoided his sight.
“Told you she’d get hyper.” Sam snapped at his older brother. “Oh one day of her being hyper, the tragedy.” Dean spoke, acting scared, “let her live like a normal child for once Sammy, she doesn’t get that often.” “There are other things that could give her a normal childhood for a while.” Sam shot back. “Like the playground or something.” “It’s Christmas Sammy, you see her watching the presents under the trees and lights hung around. She doesn’t get that normal Christmas that every other child does, let her have this” Dean spoke harshly, glancing in the rearview mirror to watch as y/n moved around in her seat to an uncomfortable position. “Who’s fault is that?” Sam snapped. “Don’t go there Sammy.” Dean shouted, only for Sam to look back when they heard whining, “Look I know you don’t agree with the way dad has her life, but we can make it a little better by giving her some aspects of a normal childhood alright.” Dean spoke softly, not wanting to wake their sister. “Right.” Sam sighed, leaning his head against the window.
---------
Case after case the Winchester’s rolled through each town, barely stopping for more than a few days, and soon it was Christmas eve. Dean had parked the impala at the top of the hill, and before Sam could remark about his choices the oldest brother leaned back to shake y/n who was covered in Sam’s jacket as she slept.
“What?” Y/n asked tiredly, not opening her eyes. “Come on, I want to show you something.” Dean spoke, moving to get out of the car. “What?” Y/n asked again, this time opening her eyes. “Yea what?” Sam asked, also moving to get out of the car. “I heard town folks talking about their annual firework display Christmas eve.” Dean explained to his brother before opening the back door and lifting y/n out of the car. “This is your way of giving her some form of Christmas.” Sam asked, confused as he grabbed his jacket. “Think positive Sammy.” Dean remarked, placing y/n on the hood of Baby before jumping on himself, Sam wrapping y/n in his coat once again.
The sibling trio remained silent as they overlooked the town below. Y/n leaned against Dean tiredly, and he wrapped an arm around her to keep her from falling. Seeing the crowds of people begin to gather down below, Dean nudged y/n to wake her up once again.
“Watch this y/n.” Dean spoke, leaning down to tuck some of the girls hair behind her ear. “Huh?” Y/n mumbled, confused on what was going on. Look.” Dean pointed to the sky as the display began.
Hearing the first bang, y/n quickly woke up and looked ahead with wide eyes. Sammy couldn’t help the smile that appeared on his face, grabbing one of y/n’s little hands to squeeze them reassuringly. Dean jumped down from the impala to lean against it, keeping his arm around y/n’s waist. He looked at the young girl to see her watching amazement, and he smirked at himself. Y/n quickly grew accustomed to the bangs, and began to giggle as the colourful sparks lit up the sky. Sam shared a look with Dean, nodding in confirmation.
“They’re pretty.” Y/n remarked, reaching a hand out in front of her. “Yea they are.” Dean smiled, looking at his sister who’s eyes never left the sky. “Can we watch them again?” Y/n asked as the display finished, a light trace of smoke filling the air. “Maybe another time. It’s getting late.” Sam spoke, and y/n awed in disappointment. “Hey now, no sad face for tonight of all nights.” Dean spoke, placing a finger under y/n’s chin to lift it up. “We’ll see them again soon.” Sam pointed out, and y/n smiled at that. “Why don’t you go to sleep, we’ll be at our next spot soon.” Dean leaned down to kiss y/n’s head before picking her up. “Will you stay with me?” She asked, snuggling into Dean’s chest. “No way is Sam driving.” Dean spoke quickly, causing y/n to lean away from him. “I’ll stay with you y/n, don’t mind him.” Sam spoke, sliding into the back where y/n happily crawled in to snuggle with her brother. “Yea your gonna be so stiff.” Dean remarked, sniggering at the thought of Sam’s long legs going numb from the back. “I don’t care if it gets her to sleep.” Sam remarked back, rubbing y/n’s arm gently as she closed her eyes. “Don’t complain to me when your legs go numb.” Dean spoke before starting the engine. “You know for someone who went out of his way to give y/n some form of Christmas, your very sour when it comes to getting her to sleep in the car.” Sam remarked. “I can’t hear you over the music.” Dean spoke, even though they both knew he could since it wasn’t that loud.
---
Christmas morning, Dean and Sam sat at the table while y/n slept in. They were researching for their new case in town, and with libraries close for the holidays they only had their old laptops to work on. Dean looked over Sam’s shoulder when they heard movement, and soon a little face popped up from the pillows.
“Rise and shine sleepyhead.” Dean remarked, and y/n only groaned, turning away from them.
Sam didn’t turn around, waiting for the little one to come up to them. When he heard movement, he braced himself for impact, only to hear a gasp instead causing him to whip his head around in confusion, missing the smirk on Dean’s face.
“What’s up y/n?” Sam asked. “A socks one the floor.” Y/n replied, jumping off the bed. “That is where you threw them last night?” Sam spoke, confused. “Not my sock, a big sock, bigger than yours.” Y/n remarked, lifting up the sock with excitement. “What?” Sam asked, whipping his head to look at Dean who sat there with a smirk. “What you get y/n?” Dean called out, and y/n came running to them. “There’s something in it.” Y/n spoke excitedly, throwing the sock onto the table as she climbed onto Dean’s lap. “Damn right there is, it is Christmas after all.” Dean commented, and Sam chuckled in disbelief. “What you get y/n?” Sam asked, closing the laptops and moving them away to make room.
The brothers watched as y/n excitedly tipped over the sock, allowing the contents to fall out of it. Small toys, a bouncy ball and some coins landed on the table, and Dean moved y/n’s hair out of her face as she looked through the contents excitedly. Sam looked over y/n’s head at Dean, who just shrugged at him. Seeing a Christmas card at the bottom, Sam reached out to get it, before reading it and laughing.
“What?” Y/n asked innocently, reaching for the card. “I think this is for me and Dean y/n.” Sam spoke, moving his hand away from y/n. “It was in my stocking.” Y/n spoke sassily. “It isn’t exactly for your age.” Sam remarked, looking at Dean with a raised eye brow. “It was in the girls stocking Sam.” Dean spoke, smiling as he knew what was in it. “Merry Christmas you filthy animal. Out of all the cards you choose that.” Sam remarked, and Dean just smiled. “Well she is an animal.” Dean joked, tickling y/n’s sides causing her to squirm. “Merry Christmas y/n.” Sam spoke, deciding to ignore Dean’s antics. “IS this Christmas?” y/n asked, squinting her eyes. “This is our Christmas.” Dean spoke, leaning down to lean his head on y/n’s shoulder. “Merry Christmas Dean.” Y/n moved to wrap her arms around her oldest brother, “Merry Christmas Sammy.” She jumped over to Sam, who caught her before she fell. “Merry Christmas y/n.” Dean smiled, bouncing her new ball on the table.

Each year they made a big event of it, with the Queen hosting a ball for the newly wedded couples of the year , one which even the children could join. The eldest Bridgerton knew how much his sister loved Christmas, but ever since she could talk it seemed her excitement had grown.
“Y/n, please calm down, you will cause yourself injury.” Anthony scolded the child before looking to the door as his wife walked in. “Oh let her be, she is excited for what’s to come.” Kate smiled, wrapping her arms around her husband from behind. “Yes brother, you do know why y/n is like this.” Benedict remarked from the bay window, paint brush in hand. “I do, but I would much rather not have y/n miss the one ball she can attend to.” Anthony raised his voice at the last bit, looking at y/n as she quietened down. “How much longer?” The little girl whined to her brothers, running over to pull out of Anthony’s arm. “Perhaps you should go find mama, getting ready may speed things up for you.” Anthony teased his youngest sister, poking her nose causing y/n to giggle. “I’m gonna wear a red dress.” Y/n remarked, running out of the room. “Oh how lovely, she shall be easy to find should she go missing.” Colin smiled from his spot by the fire. “Colin.” Penelope hushed her husband, not wanting y/n to act up on that statement.

“Easy y/n, please.” Voilet’s Voice was heard from up the stairs. “Yes mama.” Y/n’s little voice was heard.
Benedict stifled his laugh from the top of the stairs behind his mother as he watched y/n all but run down the stairs in her little red dress. Her mother had been against the vibrant red, but y/n had managed to convince the retired Viscountess to allow her to get it. Anthony and Kate waited down the stairs, looking up at the young girl that rushed down the stairs, eager to get going. Wanting to prevent any injury, Anthony moved to the last step and picked y/n up, causing her to giggle.
“Well, look at you.” Anthony smiled, holding y/n on his hip before poking her chest lightly. “I wearing red.” Y/n pointed proudly to herself. “I see that.” Anthony smiled, looking at y/n’s colourful dress choice. “You look lovely y/n.” Kate commented her new sister, tucking a piece of hair behind the little ones ear. “Must we all attend tonight.” Eloise asked, coming down the stairs with her mother in toll, tugging at the fabric of her dress. “Yes, we are going as a family. I will hear no complaints.” Voilet tapped her daughters shoulder, giving her the eye to stop fidgeting. “I agree, what a wonderful thing for us all to attend.” Colin stated, coming down with Hyacinth & Gregory beside him. “Are we all ready?” Violet asked her children, sharing a look with Kate. “Let’s go, let’s go.” Y/n wiggled in her brothers grip, trying to get out. “Don’t wander y/n, and put on your coat.” Anthony called out to his sister. “Should you think she heard you?” Eloise asked her brother, watching her baby sister run off. “I don’t believe so.” Benedict shook his head, causing Anthony to glare at him before taking the youngest’s jacket from the door man.

The town was packed with families from all over London, and Violet struggled to hold y/n’s hand as she tried to drag her mother towards the front. Seeing his mother’s struggle, Benedict took y/n’s hand before picking her up, ignoring as little hands tried to push him away.
“For a better view.” Benedict remarked, and y/n stopped at that.
Anthony and Kate walked hand in hand, smiling at each other as they walked the streets. Behind them was Penelope and Colin, who were laughing at something Penelope had observed. Hyacinth and Gregory walked obediently in front of the adults, and Eloise tagged along behind them, folding her arms as if all she wanted was to get away from here. The night was chilly, but the crowds made it tolerable. Feeling her brother come to a stop, y/n grew excited and looked around, giddy for what was to come. Violet placed her arms around Hyacinth and Gregory as they all waited for the lights to turn on.
Y/n bounced in her brothers arms as the crowd started to count down. She wasn’t very good with numbers, but she knew when the crowd started chanting, the lights would soon turn on. Benedict kissed his sisters cheek as she leaned closer to him, thinking it would help her to see. She clapped happily when the lights turned on, causing her brother to laugh.
“You happy y/n?” Benedict teased her, adjusting her to have a comfortable hold on her. “They’re so sparkly.” Y/n spoke in amazement, looking above at the strands of light. “There just lights y/n, nothing special.” Gregory remarked, and Violet squeezed him tighter. “Don’t upset your sister Gregory.” Violet stated, not wanting to catch a scene. “She’s so amazed.” Penelope stated, smiling slightly at the youngest. “Ever since our y/n has been a babe she has loved the lights.” Colin explained to his wife. “She was only in mothers arms when she would stare up at them with a wide smile.” Benedict admitted, tucking some hair behind y/n’s eyes. “We used to have a small set of Christmas lights on her roof so she would sleep because she didn’t understand where they went.” Anthony explained, an arm around his wife’s waist. “We don’t know why, she just took to them.” Benedict shrugged, watching his sister with a smile. “I wanna touch them.” Y/n stated, and Anthony jumped forward to grab her hand. “No no, hot y/n.” Anthony spoke harshly, trapping her arm in his hand. “Aww.” Y/n pouted, not understanding. “When does the party start?” Hyacinth asked, wanting to go to the ball. “Ball Hyacinth, not party.” Violet corrected her, “We’ll make our way now.” “Can I stay here?” Y/n asked, glaring at Anthony as she pulled away from him. “Sorry y/n, you’ll see them on the way home.” Anthony smiled at his sister, who frowned in disappointment.

For the duration of the night, y/n never moved from the window, staring out at the light. She smiled at the sparkling of them at the window, and Benedict chuckled at his youngest sisters antics.
“She really loves those lights.” Benedict admired. “I do wish she would stay away from the window.” Violet sighed, eyeing her youngest. “She’s only five, leave her be.” Lady Danbury commented with a slight smile.
“Hey y/n, you gonna move away from the window any time soon?” Colin asked, smirking at his sister. “They’re so pretty.” y/n murmured, dancing her finger along the window. “They’ll still be there tomorrow night. Come dance with us.” Colin smiled, offering his hand. “Can we dance near the window?” Y/n asked, fluttering her eyelashes. “Well I..” “We can dance wherever you like.” Benedict interrupted her brother. “Hey, don’t steal my dance partner.” Colin joked, hitting Benedict on the chest. “You have Penelope, I have no one.” Benedict announced dramatically, taking y/n’s hand before twirling her. “Make sure we can see the lights.” Y/n stated. “We can see the lights, don’t worry.” Benedict smiled, taking her into his arms to make sure she could see them.
