TUTORIAL OVER MAKING CUSTOM SIMS 3 PAINTINGS:

Okay y’all, here’s my first tutorial. I broke it down barney style for those who have never worked with the programs before, so forgive me if you’re more advanced. I wanted anyone to be able to follow this. [Forgive my background noise, I have a sensitive mike and a 4 year old who doesn’t understand the meaning of quiet yet lol]

Useful TS3 shortcuts you might not know about - quickly copy and recolor! (GIF)

• Hold Shift while dragging a palette to recolor the entire floor or wall

• Ever get frustrated copying objects with an eyedropper? Hold Shift and place the selected object to copy it without loading it! Works in both Build or Buy modes, can copy Debug objects with no codes ;)

• Hold Shift and drag fence or wall tool to create a room; hold Ctrl to remove the wall or fence

These shortcuts have saved me lots of time! I rarely use both sledgehammer and eyedropper :) By the way, the support team has said that my tumblr is finally unbanned! Whew, let's see!

Around the Sims 3 | Advent Calendar 2020: it’s starting!!!

Here we are again! The famous time of the Advent Calendar! :D So, you might already know how it works: every day, from the 1st to the 24th of December, you’ll find at Around the Sims 3 new objects to download. From your 1st  December, not from mine, so it might not be time yet for you now! ;) All the objects are available for 24 hours only, and then are replaced by a new download. No worries, though, all the objects are getting available again from the 25th of December (my 25th, but I shouldn’t be very busy with Christmas celebrations this year…) Something new, though: all the gifts can also be found, on Patreon, and there, they don’t disappear after 24 hours, so if you missed a day and don’t have the patience to wait till Christmas, you’ll find them there. :) Thank you for your support! <3

Tutorial - Hiding objects from the Build/Buy catalog - A slightly faster method for CCMagic users.

AKA Declutter your Misc Decor section!

So, I found tutorials on how to hide things from the catalog that requires manually opening and editing each package using s3pe, but I’ve found a somewhat faster way to do this, whilst keeping the original file unchanged, that I haven’t seen anyone else mention, so thought I’d share (I mean, someone else has almost certainly worked this out before me but I couldn’t find it anywhere). This requires CCMagic, and an understanding of how to make collections using CCMagic (very straightforward), and s3pe. Doing this will mean you can find all the items in collections, but they won’t be clogging up your catalog, eg Misc Decor (I had to do this as my Misc Decor had become so full, it often crashed my game when loading haha).

(This is also possible if you manually merge your CC, but you will have to add them to collections however you do that without CCMagic, I assume in game.)

Now, this is still a rather tedious process, and goddamn if someone could just create a program to do this for us I would die of gratefulness lol. But anyway, it’s still faster than the other method. And hey, maybe this will help someone 😊:
