100 FOLLOWER EVENT
in your first meeting, you simply glanced at him, while he nervously tried to make you talk. it seemed like a one sided conversation, and in reality, it is. but when he got you to talk, he noted that you don't talk much.
if you two are in a relationship, he will still remain annoying and talkative, but you could care less, you found it adorable. he also respects your trouble of talking, so he gladly talks for you, and you are incredibly doting. once he learns about how severe your inferiority complex was, he is there to shower you with praise and sweet nothings. you were ignorant to his teasing, which results to him pouting and sulking at some point.
you two were polar opposites, as he presents himself as loud and confident in his abilities. you, on the other hand, maintained a stoic and distant approach. he observes that if he puts his own life on the line, or using his Foul Legacy form, he could see your composure break whenever he puts himself in danger. his heart twinges a little, but he is honored to be the subject of your affection. instead of looking at your usual aloof expression, all he could see was worry in your eyes and in your aura whenever he decides to do something reckless.
he spars with you occasionally, and he is amazed on how strong you are, and how powerful your attacks are compared to his. you were also immensely fast, almost leaving Childe in a state of shock. your speed was what surprised him the most, really. because of this, he asks you how you do it, it is up to you to decide, but most of the time, you decline. you mastered swordsmanship very well, and surprises Childe even if he uses his own hydro blades. he almost has a hard time keeping up with your blows and your consistent attacks, due to how skilled and how fast you adapt in battle.
if you have a breathing technique similar to Giyuu's, he might think that it was a hydro vision, due to your sword being included in your hydro infused attacks. but he realized this was not the case when you showed him almost all your water breathing forms, especially the 11th one (it was like his whale attack). you were extremely overpowered and even if Childe has all his 3 forms, he knew he can't be better than you in battle, and he constantly praises you after each one.
overall, a pretty good relationship. even if both of you were polar opposites, you work well together. both of you specialize in hydro-related attacks, and sometimes, you give each other advice on how to handle things. Childe does not worry about you in his line of work, knowing that you could absolutely destroy every enemy in your path.

Humans are Space Orcs story where humans are known for our storytelling and acting abilities. While these talents are somewhat respected, thereâs a major stigma against humans because weâre also the best liars.
âHumans donât actually feel anything at all, they just mimic emotions to trick others into believing themâ
âNever trust a human. They lie like the rest of us breathâ
âHumans spend so much of their lives acting, itâs impossible to tell when theyâre being truthfulâ
âIn human culture, great respect is awarded to âactorsâ who are able to mimic other persons and emotions with startling accuracyâ
âSome âactorsâ are able to âperformâ hundreds of unique charactersâ
âActing is so ubiquitous in the human culture that many consider it polite to lieâ
âSarcasm is a common, casual game played between humans, where one human says something untrue and the other human must guess what truth they are thinking. Humans unable to perform this ritual are often ostracized by their peersâ
âIf you see a human crying, do not immediately assume they are hurt. Humans have been known to use their âactingâ abilities to trick unsuspecting travelers into giving up an unreasonable number of belongingsâ
âAll interstellar travelers are required to read up on popular âscamsâ or âconsâ performed by humans in the region they are traveling toâ
Let there be lightÂ

Thanks, I didnât know that
Shinobu never really put love first, it was always an afterthought. Even when her older sister Kanae would gush about the cute and polite men she had encountered that day, Shinobu couldnât really see the big deal. Sure, she could appreciate a handsome face, but she couldnât exactly see herself being attracted to one. So while Kanae went on and on, Shinobu would quietly hum in acknowledgment and busy herself with other tasks. It wouldnât be until years later that Shinobu was forced to face her confusing relationship with what she was attracted to. You had gotten injured, landing yourself a week stay at the infirmary with Shinobu as your doctor. You were kind, reserved but talkative, your smile made her heart thump wildly in her chest. For the first time, Shinobu thinks she finally understands the reason Kanae would gush about this feeling⌠the feeling of attraction. She nearly cried from relief after leaving your room, after having that realization. For years it lingered in her mind, what if there was something wrong with her? Why couldnât she feel attracted to the men her sister gushed about? Turns out, she was focusing her attention on the wrong people. She was attracted to women this whole time. She took on her new found realization with pride, making advances with you slowly to see if you would reciprocate. When you did? All bets were off, Shinobu made you hers, there and then in that infirmary. Already addicted to the high of being in love with you.
Wesk snarled as he dabbed at the openly bleeding wound across his forehead. The shrapnel had obviously done damage to his face and eye. No matter what he did, the canid just couldn't see out of it.
At least he'd retrieved the human from the slaver camp. This was meant to have been a silent break in, snatch and run. So much for that plan...
Wesk had cased the tiny outpost for several days. All their comings and goings. Knowing where the guards were, how they patrolled, which ones took their job seriously and which ones liked to sit on the hidden chair behind the depleted uranium rod holders.
Chained avians, damaged chintians by the crate load. All more than enough evidence with recordings to count as a payday per head for each slaver Wesk removed with his high powered rifle.
It was only when the human appeared through Wesk's scope that his plans had changed so suddenly. The canid recalled blinking several times just to confirm the bounty hunter was indeed, seeing, what he was seeing.
Gone from merely picking them off one by one, now there was a hostage to rescue. One that Wesk had successfully pulled off, if not messily.
The human, a grubby but still feisty thing, was glancing around the den that Wesk had been using as a base. It was embedded into the side of the cliff that overlooked the outpost nestled and hidden in the valley.
Wesk held what amounted to a medical stapler to his forehead and pinched the flesh closed.
"They're coming..." The human quietly warned.
Wesk dropped the stapler and nearly bowled the tiny creature over as he tried to focus through his scope.
But he couldn't see through it. Aberrations in his vision caused it to swim and blind him to the magnified images of his scope.
"Dammit, I can't see! We jave to run." Wesk decoded and span away from the rifle to quickly grab his bug out bag.
The crack of gunfire caused the canid to throw himself down onto all fours and spin round, fully expecting to launch himself at a threat.
Only it was the human that had shouldered the deployed rifle and was now peering through its scope with her finger on the trigger.
It was far too large for her and was not calibrated for one if her kind!
"Hey! You're giving away our pos-"
"One down."
The canid blinked as he watched the human breathe out and squeeze the trigger again. The whole device lurched into her shoulder which took the blow.
"Second down."
"But you need... you need a predator's eyes for that. You're a.."
"Eyes on the front mate. My eyes are on the front."
Some doodles of the Smiling Banker Man.
I find myself thinking about Kokushibo and his family a lot. His wife and children, I mean.
Him abandoning them was wrong, but at the same time, I can't entirely blame him. It was clearly an arranged marriage and one that he wasn't happy in. Even though he described it as "peaceful", he also followed that up with "boring." For someone like Kokushibo, who's entire passion is swordsmanship and improving himself, I can see how that would ultimately lead to a feeling of discontent and listlessness.
However; my sympathy also extends naturally to his wife and children. Just like him, they were forced into a situation they also had little choice in. Kokushibo's wife was arranged to him, just as he was to her. The children didn't ask to be born. In the panel depicting Kokushibo leaving, it's easy to tell that they did love him. His wife looks devastated while his eldest tries to run after him, reaching out to grab his leg or his hand to keep him from leaving.
I see many discussions surrounding Kokushibo and his feelings towards his family, but ultimately I feel the situation is more complicated than one or the other. I don't think he hated them, nor do I think he truly loved them. He felt shackled, perhaps even resentful of his circumstances, but he did ultimately express regret at having abandoned them.
Kokushibo likely had more complicated feelings, perhaps more than he understood or was willing to admit. Having two children with a woman, one who was visibly devastated by his departure, and having his eldest child try to stop him from leaving seems to me like a pretty good indicator that, while he was with them, Kokushibo was a fairly good husband and father.
They loved him. I think Kokushibo had at least some fondness for them, too. Not enough to stay, not enough to consider his wife his "true love", but enough to treat them kindly while he was with them and to feel regret for his actions upon his death.
I do find myself wondering how his wife and children coped after his death. Financially they were probably fine, but emotionally is another thing. His wife probably had to live with the knowledge that the man she loved, or at least tried to love, didn't return the feelings. At least, not enough to prevent the final outcome.
His eldest would grow up with bittersweet memories and confused feelings. He would remember the excitement he'd felt when he was small and his father came back from his most recent mission, or the memories of Kokushibo holding him or promising to teach him how to wield a sword, all of that muddied by the pain and resentment of being left behind, of hearing his mother crying in despair.
His youngest would forever have a void in his heart. Never having had memories of his father, but longing to have known him and subsequently feeling guilty for longing for the man who abandoned them. Did they ever ask their mother or elder brother, or were they too scared to prod at old wounds?
Did they ever fully pick up the pieces? Did Kokushibo ever think of them, as a Slayer or as a Demon? I suppose we'll never know.
