I think Mic's the kind of guy to be very into lung health. He needs to have crazy lung capacity to use his quirk to the fullest, so he's not taking any risks. Not only that, his voice is a huge part of his identity as a hero, so he's definitely gonna make efforts to preserve it.

He's actually never smoked in his life, not even as a teenager. He takes pride in that fact. He holds his breath when he passes a smoker, and if he ever ends up with a delinquent student, they better PRAY he doesn't catch them with any form of vape on school grounds — unless they want a lecture on why vaping is harmful to their and their peers' health.

Not only that, he's got air purifiers in every room of his house, and he's checking the AQI on the daily. If there comes a day where it's less than optimal, he's wearing a mask, branding be damned !

He doesn't burn incense in his house, nor candles. He doesn't even use aerosol air fresheners. He's very firm on these decisions. He's typically able to tolerate these things when visiting others, but if it really starts to bother him — i.e., he can feel his airways beginning to hurt — he'll put on a mask.
