Superstition in A/B/O headcanons

There is a belief that if Betas have a high interest in sex, they take Alpha/Omega’s mates.

There was a superstition that eating slick which Omegas make while in the heat increases fertility.

People are superstitious about broken canine. If your canine is broken, you will be dead soon.

The lucky animal in most countries is the wolf.

In addition to the superstition that taking a picture takes away your soul, if you put your scent on your picture, your body changes with the person in the picture.

People with the scent of flower blooming in winter are expected to live very healthy.

There is a saying that the flower language of a flower with the same scent as the person's scent shows the person's character.

Do you think changing rooms and bathrooms are segregated as “alpha” “beta” “omega” or do you think they will be all together? I have seen lots of places just have everything all together. Would omegas feel comfortable changing with stranger Alphas around?

Hey! So everyone’s omegaverse is different, but for me at least places tend to be all together. It would probably be too difficult for store owners and schools to keep things separated by alpha beta and omega. The only time I would think they would be separated would be if one of the dynamics is in danger if near the others.

I would say that omegas and maybe even betas will feel some sort of discomfort or fear of being in such a vulnerable position around the stronger dynamic. One place I think of that is all together but the dynamics may be uncomfortable is a school locker room especially around the time that the teens begin their first heats and ruts.

Its so sad that I can’t read omegaverse anymore because of my Very Specific Version of it in my mind and if it goes against it it immediately takes me out of it.

Omegaverse Worldbuilding: Beta’s Akashi

An Akashi much like the Kagune from Tokyo Ghoul are extra appendages that are located on a persons back. All dynamics have them but they are different depending on which Dynamic you are. Kazashi

Today we’ll be talking about Beta’s Akashi called the Kazashi (meaning “multi limb”).

The Kazashi are 4 snake like tentacles that are extremely flexible and elastic. They can also stretch to great distances are strong enough to lift an entire car off the ground and hold it in midair.

Betas have evolved this way to because through the history of the dynamics Betas have always been the ones who had to multitask and manage many things at a time. Also to keep other dynamics at bay and restrain them if need be. Betas are the strategists of the pack, and in very early years were pack leaders due to their intelligence, their discovery of fire, and being the first dynamic to create and utilize tools. Due to having to manage the pack Betas were given an Akashi that allowed them to do many tasks at the same time.

A special skill of the Kazashi is its ability to break its 4 tentacles into multiple smaller tentacles. They may not be as strong as 4 big tentacles but to complete smaller tasks it provides Betas with much convenience.

The Structure of Pack 1-A

I saw @omega-multiverse​‘s post on formal pack structures here, and it got me thinking about what Class 1-A’s structure would be as a pack, so here we are:

Some parts of this chart are a little confusing so let me explain what’s going on.

Because the pack is so large, it’s been broken down into four sub-packs, with Todoroki, Kirishima, Shoji, and Satou as each sub-pack’s head alphas. This was mainly done to keep order. Thanks to the alphan natural instinct to lead, it would’ve been near impossible for one or two head alphas to keep the other six or five alphas of the pack in line; the pack would’ve collapsed within weeks.

Iida and Yaoyorozu are the head male alpha and head female alpha of the pack. Each sub-pack’s alpha is underneath one of them, while they are on equal standing with one another. They consult each other on pack-wide decisions, and while they have the power to make decisions for anyone in their sub-packs, they normally consult each other on those decisions as well.

For an example of how the structure of power works, take this scenario; Kaminari has received a courting gift from Shinsou, and it has to be decided if Shinsou is a good enough candidate to mate into the pack if the courting is allowed. Because Kaminari is in Kirishima’s sub-pack, it is first Kirishima’s decision. He will consult Kaminari, Sero, Bakugou, Ashido, and Jirou, and then make a decision. If he decides Shinsou isn’t good enough, the courting ends there. If he decides Shinsou is, the decision goes to the head alphas.

If Kaminari was trying to mate with someone in one of Iida’s sub-packs, let’s say Midoriya, the decision would be all Iida’s, as both Kaminari and Midoriya are under him. But because Shinsou is an outsider trying to mate into the pack, the decision must be made by Iida and Yaoyorozu unanimously.

(This is the completely logical progression of this scenerio, but in reality the decision would be mainly left up to Kaminari and Kirishima, Iida, and Yaoyorozu would just agree with his verdict because they’d all think he was the authority on decisions about his own relationships).

As you may have noticed, Jirou is in a special position. Despite being Yaoyorozu’s mate, she’s in Kirishima’s sub-pack. As Yaoyorozu’s alpha mate, Jirou is the third most powerful alpha in the pack, putting her unfairly above the other four alphas. To balance it out, she’s in Kirishima’s sub-pack. This makes it so that while she’s the most powerful alpha under Momo, she’s the third most powerful alpha under Iida. This puts her above Shoji and Satou, but below Todoroki and Kirishima. 2 - 2 = 0, making her relatively on par with every alpha in the pack besides Iida and Yaoyorozu.

Something I've seen under-discussed is the fact that in an Omegaverse setting, names would probably be sorted not just as male/female but as alpha/beta/omega as well. Names would be more dynamic, as names commonly go from masculine/feminine to neutral in our world, but they would stay generally consistent.

Here's what gender I think each of the top 100 American baby names of 2025 would be, sorted by vibes and vibes alone. The names in bold are names that I 100% think would be used only for that dynamic, and would seem weird on any of the others.

Akashi (“red limb”)

An Akashi much like the Kagune from Tokyo Ghoul are extra appendages that are located on a persons back.

Alpha’s Bukishi (“weapon limb”)

A Bukishi is a tail like appendage that can be molded and shaped into anything the Alpha desires at will (spear, sword, hammer, armour, fist, shield, axe). It is a short range Akashi and is ejected at the lower back (I know it is not in the image but pretend that it is). Evolved that way in order to protect their pack. Their Akashi are the biggest, heaviest and most sturdy which is why the Alphas are as tall, big, and strong as they are. Usually are on the frontlines in battles.

Secret techniques: the Four Gears:

A technique passed down by Alphas that uses the Akashi in 4 unique ways.

Gear 1: Standard weaponry (one handed kagune combat)

Gear 2: Warrior (two-handed kagune combat).

Gear 3: Knight (suit of amour combat)

Gear 4: Sussano

The hardest to master and after use the Alpha will be unable to use their Akashi for 24-hours. Their muscles will also be sore.
