i hope in mystreet season 7 that when the gang comes home, they find laurance has become a meif'wa.

they ask what happened and all he answers is "arby's."

and they ask for clarification on what he means and he simply responds with, "we have the meats."

I don't see enough people talking about blind/partially blind Laurance. I've kept partial blindness in my re-write, because I think it's more interesting than having him just be entirely 'cured', but I still think that his sight returning is an interesting moment in the plot, that I've kept for... Reasons.

But another interesting aspect to this is that afterward, he would have to completely re-learn how to fight. Because being even half blind is a MAJOR disadvantage if you don't have training around it.

And I already think his fighting style would be bizarre by Ru'anian standards, because his first teacher was Ungrth.

Though luckily, the fact that he's had to re-teach himself a lot of techniques because of disability combined with the fact that he doesn't fight 'normally' to begin with means that a lot of the people he's fighting don't figure out what the actual fuck he's doing fast enough to counter it.
