Rewatching Minecraft Diaries from the beginning because I just finished watching it again. The cycle repeats.
This is such a cool idea (also it connects my interest in minecraft diaries and outlander) like a minecraft diaries outlander au lol, where aphmau goes for a little stroll in the woods and touches a cool rock thing and boom, time travel. no memory loss just pretending to not be from the future lol

grew up in Nashville before moving to the city pdh is located in then he went to college in Spain then he moved to wherever Mystreet is (still haven’t decided but its the USA).
has a masters degree in engineering, and has a great paying job which makes it easier for him to travel a lot, he always takes Gene and his friends/family with him though, he hatessss travelling alone
ages gracefully currently he’s 34 in my rewrite and he still looks 24 same goes to gene (but Mystreet seasons 1 - 3 takes place in their early 20’s and mid 20’s; which is the past I know it’s confusing but so is my head so yeah. If ur wondering seasons 4 - 6 don’t exist and never will be canon to me :))
pretty masculine but still uses makeup and “women’s” perfume / skin care doesn’t care tho
cooks really well but he’s not the best because Laurence is and no one else can compete
when he was dating nana he learned Japanese for her and can speak around 80% of it, basically he can hold up a long conversation he can also speak other languages:

French 65% Spanish (Mexican dialect cuz he’s Mexican)
(Spain dialect, he learned the European dialect first then worked his way up to Mexican dialect, he can switch between dialects easily)
he can also understand some Portuguese :)

really calm and chill (unlike his canon version) opposite to Travis who’s extremely chaotic and messy
long hair and refuses to cut it
Eventually he does dye his hair back to black in his 30s after feeling like he damaged it (thankfully he didn’t and won’t be balding like dilfte 😇)

Moved on “quickly” from Nicole because they already were unhappy and distant before breaking up, for months he thought they’d break up the next day so he spent that time wallowing and grieving their relationship until she broke the news to him and left him alone, then he moved on with Nana 2 months later. Which isn’t even quick if we’re being historically accurate.
limits drinking and refuses drinking around any kids, not that he’d go crazy and hurt anyone but still he’s extremely cautious.
Dilfte is probably the only dad who wants his kids to surpass him in the series 💀 he’s very proud of them no matter what though

Event: Angstpril 2025 ; hosted by @chaos-company Prompt: Day 5 ALTERNATE—Major Injury Fandom: Arcane Ship: Silco x Vander | Vanco Rating: M Tags: MCD, anti-Vander. No, seriously. Bad guy Vander. Vulnerable Silco. Canon Divergence.
Silco looked at the drawing he made of him and Vander, smiling down softly at their colours melding into each other. It was one of their better days—coming up with their Blister & Bedrock mantra. A vow to create a safe space for all the children, and their children. But, those days started getting fewer in between.
When Felicia died, so did the goodness between him and Vander, until one day.
Vander was on something that Silco couldn’t identify, at the end, he could just have started hating Silco. As if it was only Silco’s job to keep Felicia safe. All he knew was that Vander blamed him. And one day. Silco decided to fight back.
He decided to stand up for himself, to say that it wasn’t only on Silco and that it wasn’t right for Vander to keep fucking blaming him and reminding Silco of everything that they had lost.
He very quickly realised he made the wrong choice when Vander pushed him up face first against the wall and ground his head into the jutting brick. He tried to close his eyes but he could feel the pricks of the brick against his face before he could fully manage it. He felt something wet roll down his face, but he knew he couldn’t be crying—the other option seemed too harrowing to accept.
Vander pressed his pelvis into Silco’s back, and he could feel his entire body get crushed against the wall. It stuck through his clothes, and tore the more sensitive fabrics, and Vander just pushed his head further into the wall before leaning closer.
“Where do you get off telling me it’s my fault? Telling ME that I had to do MORE? You’re just a sniveling goddamn brat that didn’t get enough attention in this godforsaken place. You’d be nothing without me.” Silco could hear the sneer in Vander’s voice, and it broke small parts of him that he wasn’t sure had existed anymore. The abandoned boy inside of him cried out in pain and fear.
“I…didn..I didn’t say. You..” He couldn’t find his voice. Couldn’t keep it even.
“YES YOU DID! My fault that Felicia died? God,” Vander’s chuckle was hollow, “I loved her. I would never have let anything happen to her.” There was a sick satisfaction in Silco’s chest. Confirmation on something that he had suspected for years. That Vander only started dating Silco to get closer to Felicia, and since she died. Vander didn’t care about him anymore.
Silco knew that Vander’s temper was short, and that it snapped because the next moment his face was being crushed by the wall. Vander held Silco’s hair in a tight grip and started smashing his head against it.
Silco couldn’t feel the pain anymore, but he felt a sharp burning in his abdomen, but he couldn’t place if it was a blade or not. He could start to see little orbs of light floating in his vision. Looking like specks of dust but in a rainbow of colours, and he almost gasped at the beauty.
All in all. He had an extremely good life. He had morals and he was at the forefront of a revolution. Two little girls who he could hold when they were sad, and sometimes help them to feel better. His vision went black, and he could feel his breathing shallow out while his body was being used like a ragdoll for frustration.
It’s enough that it’d been good.
It had to be enough.
An Alchemist comes to Phoenix Drop
The village of Phoenix Drop is one that is not so large but so small. A village with many characters that lead their own lives connecting and spreading across to one another like a spiders Web. The center is a lady, her name being Aphmau, the lord of this village. But now a new thread has come into the web, walking along the cobblestone path through the greenery of the forest to the entrance with oak plank walls up high surrounding the area. This is our story begins, with a blonde hair teen with bright sunny eyes. And a satchel at their side. With a white and red coat swaying in the wind, a new character has come in. An Alchemist has come to Phoenix Drop.
/sry I haven’t been here in a bit but this is kinda what I was talking about a few post ago. The rest of the alchemist series will most likely be in headcanons or short stories based in the middle(?) of season 1 of mcd. I hope I can make more of these/
In MCD I feel like Enki would have pointy ears and they would move depending on the emotion he is feeling. Like a cat or a dog ears do.
I'm gonna say it. MCD Aphmau was a much better parent then DSMP Philza. She was a leader while also being put through so much crap, and her children still stayed first and foremost. Hand those traumatized kids over to her 😤✋
I feel like Kul'zak is a pear guy. No, I don't really know what that means, nor is that slang for anything. I just feel like he would really enjoy pears. That's all I have to say.

mcd!aphmau may be an incredibly good person and a massive pacifist with more wisdom than anger but. i think she should be allowed to tell people to eat shit and fuck off. you’d have to push her pretty far to get her to do it but she should still tell people to eat shit and fuck off. i think she’s more annoyed with people than she shows
In my mind, MCD!Aphmau and Zane have a very special unique relationship in that Zane is the only person on earth that Aphmau hates more than anything. Like, this is a woman born from the mercy of Christ. And she fucking hates his guts so bad. He’s done far too much damage to everyone she’s loved for her to ever see him as more than pure evil. She is a woman of redemption and even i think she would see a Zane redemption arc as utterly impossible to ever achieve. She has a “kill on sight” policy that ONLY applies to him and NO ONE ELSE. Her and Zane could go back and forth bickering and telling each other “fuck you” over and over again. Even Shad earns more sympathy and mercy and empathetic understanding from Aphmau than Zane does. Aphmau would sooner befriend The Shadow Lord himself than EVER side with Zane.
And on Zane’s side of things, Aphmau is special because no one has ever thwarted him as much as her. He absolutely underestimated her at the beginning, thinking she’s just some random peasant girl in a shitty old town that no one’s ever heard of. And then she turns out to be his enemy nm. 1. The arch nemesis. I very much picture their dynamic in my head as a constant chess match going on between Zane and Aphmau. Zane is normally the king of chess, he gets everything he wants and the whole world cowers before him, but Aphmau has never cowered before in her life and she is most certainly not going to start now. She doesn’t quit. He can back her into a corner, he can take away her loved ones, he can put her in impossible dilemmas and threaten the lives of everyone she cares about with certain doom, all scenarios that would normally crush the average opponent and get them to cave under their own fear and beg him for mercy. But Aphmau doesn’t. She keeps fucking going and she never stops, she just can’t be held down, no matter what he tries. And in the end, he loses. They end up in the Irene dimension and he loses.
There’s something to be said that the High Priest of the Church of Irene’s worst nemesis is Irene herself. The very woman he’s supposed to worship with utter devotion, but once he actually meets the object of his religious faith, he REFUSES TO. He HATES her. He has met his own God and has decided he’d rather punch her square in the face than pledge himself to her. No one hates Aphmau more than Zane, and no one hates Zane more than Aphmau.

Okay so I'm taking this for my rewrite. Basically, Zane married some Lord for a village I made up because I refuse to rewatch the series. Because of this when Zane becomes a Shadow Knight he's tied to Orion(the Lord). Orion, who is a Fae creature that I added specifically because Fuck It, is already basically immortal unless killed. So these two are stuck together, Zane slowly losing his edges, softening over the years as he stands beside the unholy pacifist. Orion slowly letting his too sharp edges peak through the gentle exterior.
When Janus, the last of the Jury of 9 to die, passes they both sort of cling to each other. Every century that passes changes them. Zane goes from MCD!High Priest Zane to PDH!Zane, letting himself be pushed around because he refuses to fight back in fear of his own power.
Orion, manipulative and pacifistic but willing to fight for his people, makes himself sharper as Zane softens. He becomes colder, crueler even. PDH!Orion is basically Zane's shield throughout PDH and basically is fending off attempts at being inducted into the Shadow Knights.
The Shadow Knights don't get why Zane makes them so uncomfortable or why Orion is so attached.
Guys, I'm in a sort of... mess. I've had so many cool ideas, but now they're starting to interfere with my actual plot that I have planned out for my mcd rewrite.
Here's the deal. My shadow knight lore is that the souls of dead guards killed in the nether are turned into shadow knights via the nether's dark energy. So essentially, my shadow knights are made out of a mist/energy type substance that forms into their body. This allows shadow knights that are in control of their bodies (shadow knights that have broken their guard bond by killing their lord) or shadow knights that completely lose themselves (think young SK that are engulfed by rage or bloodlust) to transform into monsters not unlike the hellish beasts from the nether.
This is also why they are able to be immortal. Once they've broken their guard bond, the dark energy wrapping around their soul corrupts the soul completely. So if they get badly hurt, their body fades into a mist-like substance again and gravitates to the nearest nether portal so they can heal.
But if a shadow knight hasn't broken their guard bond yet, if they are badly hurt, their body will fade into mist and go back to the nether, but it's unable to bring the soul with it, allowing the soul to pass on naturally like it was supposed to when the shadow knight first died.
So, if a shadow knight with an unbroken guard bond (Laurance) never gets hurt badly enough for his body to fade away, then he'll just be immortal anyway. It's not full-proof, he can still be killed. But he doesn't age, doesn't really need food or water, can't be killed by the elements, can't get sick, etc. He isn't human anymore, he's a creature from the nether.
Also, Irene is just immortal. The other divine warriors (excluding Shad) reincarnate, but she doesn't. This is why she got so numb to emotions and wanted to get rid of her memories and go into a deep slumber in the first place.
Aphmau isn't a reincarnation. It's Irene's body that doesn't have any memories and forms it's own identity. So she still is immortal. Especially when she gets the relic at the end of season 1, Aphmau is no different from Irene. She just lacks experience and skill with her abilities.
So now that we've established that Aphmau and Laurance are immortal and will never age, we run into a problem. If I wanted just the two of them to be end-game, it would be perfect. But I also love Garroth. I want the three of them to be together.
But having old man Garroth next to young Aphmau and Laurance doesn't feel right!!!!
So I'm trying desperately to think of a solution. If I take away Aphmau and Laurance's immortality, I would have to completely change the story. Especially with Aphmau, because her existence depends on Irene living so long and losing touch with her humanity.
I also really like the idea of them being immortal.
I could also make Garroth immortal, but how? Even if he gets a divine relic, it won't work. He's set to reincarnate, not live forever. And making him a shadow knight feels wrong.
...
Okay, what about this. I let the three of them be a happy trio for a while, and then Garroth dies suddenly. What if he dies protecting Aphmau from some sort of horrible threat? Laurance is losing his mind because he could have taken the blow, not Garroth. But as he's dying, Garroth tells Laurance that someone has to stay with Aphmau for the coming centuries, and he was never meant to live that long.
I could also have some build up before that of Aphmau refusing to come to terms with her immortality. Having panic attacks because as all her friends age, she isn't. Having nightmares about the day everyone will die except her. And Laurance is her only comfort because he won't age either.
What's the verdict on this line of thought?
Absolutely. This man could’ve been POPULAR and he stared at his brother and decided ‘No, I will NOT be doing that. No thanks.’ and made people leave him alone under threat of freshman meanness. Frankly? I wouldn’t wanna be friends with a rude freshman, freshmen are men, I was a freshman last year and we were mean!
Btw if you portray Zane as socially inept or anxious you’re going against his character and should label it OOC because that man’s charisma is off the fucking charts and chooses to be alone. People flock to him he just hates them.
I fear no one is going to get this because it is a hungarian book we had to read in... I don't even know what grade. 3rd or 4th, maybe? It's called "A Pál utcai fiúk" ("The boys of Pál Street", written 1906), and it's about a group of kids who find a big, abandoned... field? I think? in the city of Budapest, on Pál street, and make it their own, and turn it into their HQ. They become friends, or more accurately, form a club, and have strict rules to follow. If I remember correctly, (I literally haven't read this book in seven years) there is also a rival club of boys, who they are trying to sabotage. I cannot for the life of me remember the plot, but I do know there was this one kid, young and scrawny and small, who was constantly trying to prove himself. Some things happened, which led the boys to believe he betrayed them, and was a traitor - not true, of course - and as punishment, they wrote his name into their rulebook with lowercase latters, the lowest and most humiliating thing a member of the club could be punished with, and they kicked him out. (Ah yeas, I remember, his name was Nemecsek I think!)
Meanwhile, however, in an earlier adventure, Nemecsek fell into a cold lake on a winter night, already a bit down with the cold. After he was kicked out, the boys ignore him completely, and shun their friend out - so they don't realise in time that the illness got serious. Nemecsek got pneumonia, i think, which at the time was incredibly dangerous, especially for a frail little boy like him.
Needless to say, he dies, with none of his friends there, his mother bawling on his chest, still believing his only friends hate him. When the boys hear about this, they are shook, of course, and immidiately forgive him and feel completely fucking horrible, but it's too little too late. They honor him by not only rewrite his name with the correct -capital letters, but by writing it in ALL capital letters.
I bawled my eyes out. I was such a little kid at the time, and i loved reading and getting invested in stories, and this fucking broke me. I finished the book at like 1 am one evening, which at the time was very late for little me, and my brother heard me literally sobbing and had to comfort me. First encounter with MCD. I didn't even think it was real. I just kept reading, because I was like "what do you mean? Books ALWAYS have a good ending please this has to be a joke - " it was not. Fucking. Broke me.
