I always love posting my sketchbooks because even if they’re all just jumbles of sometimes good doodles splattered across a page- It’s fun to show off and document the end of an “era” yk? Uh oh Fordsie, your parents are acting awfully strange… The second installment of the 3 Buck Stan AU and our six fingered munchkin comes into play. Wonder what will come of that lol… I have a good idea on what will come next in this series/au, although I’ll likely be slow to post due to procrastinating- yk how it is lol. But yeah… next segment will probably get back to Stan and Mx Lottie’s nonsense as we finally get into the swing of things. It’s gonna be great, trust.

So, yep, got my "few days of satisfaction", so namedropping the title, at the same time making a masterpost and tags for existing parts - and back to working on...

The Three Ford Problem.

(I once mentioned "As loud as you can play" - that was the same idea, as in Musical Theory it is basically FFF - triple Forte. But the story wouldn't go in Musical Theory at all, so.... Now it's double play on Sherlock Holmes AND science terminology).

Quick summary: My take on Backupsmore timeline AU. Ford, almost ready to graduate from BMU, gets the call from Stan, Stan goes to visit him and... well, that's the story. Of feelings, building and rebuilding relationships and slowly setting the scene for... Heh, who knows what for?

Sentient Mystery Shack, who is really biased towards Stan, so when Ford tells Stan he has to give it back after the summer it’s on sight.

Ford keeps tripping over nothing, nothing is where it's supposed to be and somehow he keeps running into closets when he tries to go outside.

But the worst part, the WORST part is that Ford's lightbulb just won't. Work. No matter what he does it keeps flickering and exploding.

Ford is spiraling. 

There is no reason why it shoudln’t work. All his trial runs work perfectly. He’s already checked the Shacks wiring three times and relearned this dimensions science from the ground up. 

Nothing works.

The Rift? Bill? The impending apocalypse? Eating? Sleep? Who cares about that. 

WHY. WONT. THE. LIGHTBULB. WORK???

It doesn’t help that Stan keeps laughing at him.

“Then you do it!” Ford eventually snaps at Stan.

Stan shrugs and with a little song under his breath screws his own lightbulb in. It works perfectly.

Stanford screams.

Idk guys- Something tells me our friend AXOLOTL doesn’t have a lot of experience in convincing small children to follow them into mysterious wormholes. Sure, Stan happens to be a sad little kid, but he’s a sad little kid WITHOUT A DEATH WISH! What could and Lottie possibly be planning…

Oh wow I actually posted. Had a bit of art block- And if there’s something I know, it’s to not FORCE yourself to draw if you don’t have to. If your art is feeling like a chore- TAKE A BREAK. It’s supposed to be fun lol. But yeah. WOOPIE! Waddea know, another cliffhanger!
