Seeking for validation proof because I was told by someone who's aiming to be a professional writer that hobbyist creators who do stuff for free to the internet are "just entertainers" and we should be happy and motivated with any attention we get, whether that's just likes or if we ever get reblogs or/and comments with it. I think that comments and feedback/sharing is much more important than just likes, but she didn't believe me and told me I'm being greedy and "whining for attention".
