We've seen a lot of GIFs of the new Captain America: Brave New World film, and seen people saying they're excited for the film. While we can ultimately not be in control of your personal media consumption, we will say in no uncertain terms this film is a BDS boycott target, and this blog will not be complicit in Zionist propaganda.

And no, pirating but watching as usual and making fan content as usual is not boycotting. This movie cannot be allowed to exist in any space outside of one exclusively criticising it for it's pro-genocide, pro-Israeli stance in a time where Israel is murdering Palestinians en masse.

And in case it needs to be said, Anthony Mackie is fully complicit and proactive in the Zionist propaganda of this movie. He is not an innocent party in this film's creation, he is an active participant. Like Chris Evans before him, he is a Zionist, and should be criticised as such.

We will not reblog material from users who are creating content for this film from now on, and we certainly will not be reblogging anything from this movie that is not discussions of its explicit Zionism and of the boycott efforts organised by Palestinian groups.

A movie is not more important than people's lives. Your feelings about a fictional character is not worth facilitating and promoting Israeli propaganda. And the actors involved in this film should not be allowed to work without being reminded of them working with a woman who chose to be an IDF soldier despite being exempt, of creating propaganda for the IDF and Mossad. None of them should ever be allowed to recover from this. Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, Liv Tyler, Harrison Ford, Tim Blake Nelson and everyone else who chose to work with Shira Haas are all facilitators of genocide, and should never be allowed to be remembered for anything else but.

UPDATE - RUBA AND IYAD (VETTED)

A lot of you will know that I have been trying to get more eyes on Iyad's fundraiser and encourage donations for the past few months. Now I want you to pay attention to this too:

Some of you may know Ruba from her previous fundraising attempts @rubashabansblog (now shadowbanned). Iyad and Ruba are neighbors who live close to each other in the tents. They are like family to each other. Both of them have run into major trouble both with GoFundMe and Tumblr (and in Ruba's case GoGetFunding as well) and have had to restart fundraising from 0 multiple times.

Iyad's family lost a total of 11k due to GFM deleting his fundraiser, Ruba's family lost a total of 27k due to GFM withholding funds. (overview of Ruba's troubles with fundraising here)

Ruba was recently injured badly and had to be taken to the hospital. Treatment was expensive and since they couldn't possess their funds from gfm, they weren't able to pay for it themselves. Iyad took Ruba to the hospital, helped her, and payed for her treatment. Since Ruba's family has no other way to access their raised funds, her family and Iyad's family are now sharing this same fundraiser:

Some bloggers were less than pleased with my most recent posts where I talked about how Palestine has become a momentary trend for many, and accused me of trying to "guilt trip". They even predicted that these posts wouldn't bring in any sustained support for Siraj Abudayeh ( @siraj2024 ) and advised me to instead keep it to the point. Well alright then, let's keep it short and get to the point:

Siraj Abudayeh is a journalist who is fundraising to survive and rebuild in Gaza as he has no plans to evacuate

Recently he became the sole provider of FIVE FAMILIES- both his own and that of his parents and married siblings, after they all fled to him to escape the recent IOF attacks. 

As he is now fundraising to bear the cost of all 23 family members, he is even more desperate to finish his campaign. 

What the family needs most now is access to clean drinking  water. With 10 children ( Siraj's sons and their cousins) to take care of and with the polio epidemic spreading in camps, this is imperative. 

He has requested us to help him buy a submersible water generator and network tools. This is costly but with water treating plants and other facilities being completely destroyed, this is the only long term solution for now.

For 11 months Siraj has hesitated to buy a water generator. He was afraid  that he wouldn't be able to manage it while also making sure that his family had something to eat. But since there are more children (all between 6 and 12 years of age) to take care of now, he cannot put this off anymore. The settler state has already  unchilded them- they risk their lives and walk long distances to look for drinkable water to carry back in heavy pails, when they instead should have been working on their homeworks or playing. Siraj wants them to at least be relatively safe from having to take such risks to survive. 

Siraj needs to reach 70k by THURSDAY, that is within 3 days, so that he can start the process of making a purchase. You said that I do not need to write scathing posts to have your attention, so I am here now requesting you to act upon Siraj’s plea for help. 

He is currently only at $65,393 CAD . That is 4.6k away from our next short term goal. Boost and donate and help him access clean water for the children.

How was she supposed to get over her feelings of being near you, or seeing your smile or hearing your laugh. The pain she felt from holding herself back from the urge to kissing you was horrible. All she could ever think about was you and she was becoming crazy.

“Dear, are you alright?” Violet asked her daughter who was lost in her thoughts, standing still at the window as rain poured down on the ground. Eloise snapped out of it and grabbed the book that was now in her lap back up and gave a reassuring smile.

“No need to worry, it’s just a beautiful day.” A mother knows much about her children and violet knew her daughter well. Eloise was often to push away when she was going through things. But she could push her to talk about it, so she just smiled and nodded her head.

Just as the sun rises and breakfast was done, the routine of visiting you for morning walks was the thing that woke her up. Her head went fussy when you grabbed ahold of her arm and her heart spiked like crazy.

“There isn’t much my mama has been telling me lately. Each gentleman walking up to door is all the same and non have half the wits they think themselves to have.” rolling your eyes annoyingly, Eloise laughs at your remark.

“Thank the heavens I have no callers, the one thing whistledown gave me was keeping them away.” you glance at her, there was still spite in her voice.

“It’s their lose anyway, you’re a Bridgerton. Pretty and smart sounds like a amazing catch.” you giggle. her cheeks flush red and look away at the compliment you gave her.

Pretty? You think she’s pretty and smart.

“Might I ask you something?” Her mouth speaks on its own before she could stop herself. you humming in agreement and focus on the ground as you walk. ears ready to hear.

could you ever love her? the lump in her throat tighten as her stomach dropped. all she wanted to do was confess or give you a hint. why was it so hard? she shouldn’t be afraid of it. but looking at you and the way the sun cased it’s golden light on you, the beautiful smile on your lips. she couldn’t find the courage.

“Purple?” the excuse didn’t work out as she wanted. you turn your head in confusion to what she meant.

she was a fool. “Purple or Blue? A dress for me tonight.”

“Purple, I like that color on you.”
