Day 5

Ye, I didn't do the other 2 days bc I was drained out and didn't have any ideas 😔

So today's theme is: Binoculars

So here is Fritz using some binoculars he found somewhere

King Miraculous Ladybug Animation

I finally finished this sequence let's gooooo

Fun fact: I have not done a fully color animation like since 2019 or 2020. Also with this one I was experimenting with a lot of colors and overall messing with the pallets to give it a more moody and unique look! :D

For the context of this animation, Chat Noir found out about who his father was and is very pissed off at ladybug 🐞

Time to yap lol:

For colors, I used more purples on Marisue to tie it with Hawk Moth and to represent villainy. Although she had good intentions, she still should not have lied to protect her "boyfriend." There is also a part where her outline is yellow, and it's to tie back to Chromobug from the "London" special. Which is the special where she lied to everyone.

For chat noir, I used whites and blues in some parts to tie to Chat Blanc, which is to show Ladybug's fear.

As much as I don't like Marisue, I can't deny that she has a reason to fear Chat Noir being angry, especially at her.

I also didn't add purple for when Chat Noir was on screen since I knew it could tie back to Lila (the new holder of the butterfly miraculous) which to others could see it as Chat Noir being possessed by a Akuma, and I didn't want to show it like that, so like I said, I used blues, and whites, but also yellows, greens, and blacks.

Besides the drawings and colors, it was not the most difficult thing to do. It was editing the camera movement.

Since I wanted the camera to move with the music in the background to hit the beats I wanted, I had to go back and forth to make sure the camera movements were just right.

Also for the sketch like look was a personal design choice since I overall like drawing more sketch like renders than the clean looks that people normally do when fully animating smth.

For song choice, the song is called King by The Amazing Devil (PLS GO LISTEN TO THEIR SONGS I BEG YOU PLEASE). I chose this song since whenever I listened to it, I imagined Chat noir discovering the truth and starts to enter the dark side and starts fighting her or smth. I should make another sequence of the song since I have some fun visual ideas I wanna do that I didn't do in the animation :33

ALSO GUYS THEY ARE SO UNDERATTED ANIMATIC/ANIMATION WISE I REALLY WANNA SEE MORE PEOPLE USE THE SONGS IN THEIR ANIMATICS/ANIMATIONS BECAUSE THEY'RE SO GOOD AHHHHH

It took me around 2-3 days to finish within a spam of 2 weeks since I had school 🦖

Anyways sorry for rambling, I'm really proud of how this came out lmao 😭
