"Oooh your in troooouble!" Dina snickers while transferring the bacon to her plate, "I put the clock in Peter's room so he'd get up, but then he put it here" she told erik "do you want eggs? I'm making some for me and peter" She asked cracking eggs onto the pan and making the shells disappear.

"sorry dad I was a bit sloppy cause I was tired, I got stuck with doing gym class with the younger kids" Peter tried to defend himself as he took his bagels out of the toaster and put cream cheese on both "really? You can run through the whole mansion twice without breaking a sweat, but playing dodgeball with ten year olds puts you outta commission?" Dina asked

"yes, now egg please" Peter said and dina snapped her fingers and her henna light up causing two of the eggs to appear on Peter's bagels "thank you" he said sitting down and chowing down on his bagels

Dina then turned to her dad and took the silver key that he offered "thank you baba"

Magneto stands at the edge of the training grounds, his imposing figure casting a long shadow. The air hums with a quiet intensity as he watches Dina practice, his expression unreadable. With a deep breath, he steps forward, his cape billowing slightly in the breeze.

"Dina," he calls out, his voice firm yet gentle.

As she turns to face him, he approaches with measured steps, his eyes studying their face closely. "I am Magneto," he begins, his tone carrying the weight of his name. "I've come to speak with you about something of great importance."

He pauses, searching for the right words. "I know this may come as a shock, but I am your father. I have watched you from afar, knowing that one day this moment would come."

Magneto's gaze softens, a rare vulnerability showing through. "I understand if you have questions, or if you feel anger or confusion. But know that I am here now, and I want to be a part of your life, to help you understand your abilities and your heritage."

He extends a hand, a tentative yet hopeful gesture. "Will you allow me the chance to explain, to show you the truth of who we are?"

After magneto finishes speaking dina nods trying to hold back tears, many questions ran through her head "how are you my father? I very distinctly remember having a father I looked like growing up" she looked up at him expecting an explanation, did her mother commit infidelity which she despised... or was she adopted by the parents who raised her? Hard to tell.

Dina knows her genetic makeup due to the access to the files sinister made of her, egyptian and palestinian was what the file and her parents said, now the German in her DNA data makes sense

How do you think Kurt would go about courting someone with a child? The child is not related by blood but the two claim each other as family.

I'll make a headcanon post for this, just because it may be a bit easier to narrow it down! <3

Kurt would absolutely embrace the child as his own, without a doubt. Family means everything to him, seeing as his own mother never had anything to do with him.

Kurt wouldn't rush things. He understands the importance of the child feeling comfortable and secure. He'd focus on building a genuine friendship with them first. If the child ever got around to seeing him as a father figure, Kurt would be absolutely ecstatic.

He'd definitely treat the child's parental figure (his s/o) with the utmost respect in the relationship, setting a good example of what love should be.

He'd absolutely spoil the kid. He'd take the time to learn about the their hobbies. If they loved comic books? He might teleport them to a comic book store with a hidden back room full of rare collectibles. Does the child enjoy sports? He could teleport them to a world-class training facility for a fun afternoon (with all safety measures in place, of course) and with their parent's permission.

He'd stop at nothing to keep the both of you safe, even if that meant putting his own life on the line. You two are his top priority no matter what.

He'd give his partner a break. He'd take the child on fun excursions to the movies or the park. Anything to spend time with them and give you a much needed break.

He'd definitely give in to the child's requests. Even if that meant letting the child play dress up with him as the beautiful princess or letting the child put makeup on him. Kurt would not object if it made them happy.

Despite differences, Kurt would definitely try to show the kid that appearances are skin deep and what truly matters comes from inside, instilling self worth in them and to love themselves.

He wouldn't try to replace the child's other parent. Instead, he'd offer his support and assistance, helping out with chores, homework, or simply being a reliable and fun presence in the child's life.

Dina's attention was caught by the question after getting lost in her father's life story of tragedy and she nodded trying to come up with a well worded answer. cuts up the chicken in her musakhan

"I really just want the normalcy I was denied" dina admitted after she finished chewing, the question was one she didn't expect so she just came up with an honest answer on the spot. "I finally have the freedom and relationships that make me want to keep going every day; even though I could loose either at any given time that doesn't make them lest special to me"

"Though I'll admit living at a school that's gets blown up so much you'd wonder why people keep sending their kids there.... doesn't make much sense" she chuckled "but I guess if the classroom blows up in the first 15 minutes of class we get to leave" she started giggling at her own dark joke

"I also want to get better at doing more grand things with my powers cause sinister really held me back, but I am doing pretty good considering i was able to make no one in the restaurant think our conversation is anything but normal" she reveals before manifesting a straw in her drink and taking a sip.
