regulus wanted to be james. to have sirius' undivided attention like that, to have such a codependent relationship which he could trust to hold. to be carefree and laugh with an abundance of friends like james potter the popular, attractive quidditch king did.
james wanted to be sirius. obviously, not literally - he appreciated his family being as loving as they were and wouldn't want for a second to be in an abusive household like him but... he wanted a little brother. he wanted someone who could actually care about him and take away some of his loneliness. but more than anything he wanted to be loved unconditionally in the way remus and sirius did.
but, arguably the saddest, sirius wanted to be regulus. to have their mother actually love him, or care about him to some extent. to be in slytherin and maybe have people tolerate him more as a black. to just generally have kept to himself more, as regulus did, would have meant so many of sirius' mistakes and regrets never even happened.
so yeah.
regulus wanted to be james. james wanted to be sirius. and sirius wanted to be regulus. of course, each boy loved the other, whom he envied. deeply. but maybe it was tainted with a strong sense of jealousy.
wolfstar are definitely the kind of couple to go grocery shopping where remus is trying so hard to just stick to their grocery list, while sirius is throwing in anything and everything that looks even remotely interesting. remus tries, but can’t even tell him no because sirius is so genuinely excited and adorable

I DONT CARE LET ME LEAVE MORE. THE AUTHORS NEED TO KNOW MY LOVE FOR THEIR FIC
My headcanon is that Remus has learnt how to braid so he can keep doing Sirius' hair up when it's hot and he complains at Quidditch in the summer that his long hair annoys him. And of course Remus always has a scrunchie for Sirius (unlike Sirius, who always loses them)
friendly reminder that sirius chased his own tail and jumped at pigeons as padfoot because it made harry laugh
Remus: *stands up and all of his joints make horrifying noises*
Sirius, falling to his knees: rail me rail me rail me rail me
If the marauders knew what an iPhone was they would definitely ask Sirius questions by saying „hey siri“
Remus: *drinks tea and immediately burns his tongue*
Sirius: Do you need me to kiss it better? Because I will.

You should write the most niche, indulgent fiction that appeals to you specifically, because it will be much more artistically authentic and valuable than corporate slop that has been focus tested to death to appeal to the widest audience possible.
Write for yourself and you will always be making authentic art that has an uncompromised vision, and you will gain an audience that appreciates that.
Firstly, when you get this, you have to answer with 5 things you like about yourself, publicly. Then, send this ask to 10 of your favorite followers (non-negotiable, positivity is cool)!!
Hmm... I like my curls quite a lot! I care for them meticulously and they're part of my personality atp (Sirius kinnie through and through). I can write and draw passably (it's a love-hate-relationship), I'm pretty confident, although THAT was a long journey, and I've been told that I give good advice. I also play the violin heh.
