STAN TWINS BONDING IDEAAAA

OK SO. I was watching the movie WALL-E with my little sister a few nights ago, and I thought: What if the Stan twins watched it?

Obviously Mabel probably would make them watch it bc its a romance and she loves those, but it would also be relatively new in the GF timeline (the movie came out in 2008 so it would only be 5-ish years old in 2013)

HOWEVER.

The end of the movie end with EVE and WALL-E finally getting together, but not before EVE has to fix WALL-E. And what happens after that?

WALL-E HAS NO MEMORIES.

So I was thinking that the Stans would get sorta emotional at that part because like. They kinda had to go through the same thing? I mean, OBVIOUSLY THEY ARE NOT A COUPLE (do NOT reblog and tag as a ship or so help me), but the concept is similar.

Hi! I was wondering how STCMO! Ford would react to/ deal with a Frankenstan AU, specifically @trekkerac 's Ghost Stan AU. Would he try to help Ford revive Stan or just... watch from afar? Sorry if you've already answered an ask like this :)

Augh I love that AU!

Considering Bill is very much a prominent figure and Stan is already dead when he gets there, Watchdog would probably avoid that dimension. It wouldn't be until he kept getting a notification for Frankenstan that Watchdog would swallow down his fear and investigate. So you can imagine his surprise and horror when he sees a dead Stan walking around. Of course, he'd scan Stan to confirm that he's present and it's not just an empty vessel that's being piloted by Bill.

Still, Watchdog wouldn't be able to do much to help considering that there are some rules to his running about. Some dimensions Watchdog cannot alter until their "canon" has come to pass. It's the dimensions where the canon had been knocked off course that Watchdog can interact with, setting the dimension on a path of his choosing. But the people who most influence the timeline (Stan and Ford) need to shift the balance just enough that Watchdog can access the dimension and do what he does best.

ok ok more stan twin headcanons. this time it’s how they recover from being overstimulated for an extended period of time

ford:

-paces around his room

-listens to music (mostly soundtracks)

-fidgets with all of the random stuff in his room. trinkets and things

-sometimes writes/draws in his journal

-maybe even watches a comfort show

-mostly non-verbal but if you’re close to him (family) he’s more than willing to just sit there and listen to you talk for a while.

-also takes off his glasses during this time. doesn’t want to have to take in all of details in his vision at once.

-tries to focus on just little things at a time. it slowly wears off but it’s still effective and he starts talking again pretty quick.

stan:

-THE VOID.

-no lights

-no noise

-no fidgets

-only laying on the floor

-only staring at the ceiling

-if you even think of coming near him you’ll get clobbered (not really but he REALLY wants to be alone)

-entirely nonverbal

-basically puts himself in a sensory deprivation tank and it works like a factory reset button. he’s fine like 10 minutes later.
