Okay but the way Beth just fucking LIGHTS up when she hears all her boys??? I could died a thousand deaths and nothing would be as perfect as her reaction to the support of her disfunctional family.
Okay before I share this please realize changes like this is VERY normal this early in production.
That being said it is now:
6x03: The Devil You Know
6x04: Animal Instincts

6x04: Evil

[image description: two large gifs of eddie diaz and evan buckley from season 5 episode 18 of 9-1-1. the gifs are colored with a soft pink overlay and the text has a white background.
gif 1: eddie stares at his repaired bedroom wall, bracing his hands against it. the text reads, “i’m going to be better -” “for myself.”
gif 2: buck sits on the edge of his dining table, looking up and smiling after taylor leaves the apartment. the text reads, “a clean slate…” “yeah. just not together.”

- It’s really good to see you. - It’s good to see you.
This scene!! MY GOD IT IS SO BEAUTIFUL! Like the fact that he looks like he’s rising instead of falling! The glass shattering when he jumps. The music. That little smile at the end! Mannn this movie is a masterpiece! But this scene?! CHILLS literal chills!
Leap of faith
Ed and Mustang’s relationship is really funny because Ed thinks they’re in an equally-matched battle of wills and it’s a matter of time until his inevitable victory and Mustang thinks that it’s an unfair contest and also that he’s the winner and the truth of it is that both of them are losers because one of them is a thirty year old man in a years long feud with a teenager and the other one is a teenager whose second biggest preoccupation in life is getting one over on his boss

the thing about the way that eddie talks is that he doesn’t leave room for doubt or misinterpretation when it comes to telling buck exactly what role he has in the diaz boys’ lives. “there’s no one else I trust more with my son.” “no one else will fight for my son as hard as you.” “that’s what I want for him.”
it’s not “I trust you” or “I appreciate how much you love my son”, no. eddie has told Buck over and over again that he’s his number one.
