Cloak and dagger are my favourite duo and I’m so glad they are getting more recognition now with being included in Marvel Rivals!
COUNTDOWN TO MARVEL RIVALS
2 - Cloak & Dagger
they got that ND swag
these shirts man omg pls i love em so much
I love the idea of Buck getting a St Christopher especially if Eddie or Chris get it for him. It would be very symbolic of the threes dynamics and devotion.
He fidgets with it all the fucking time. Especially the first day he has it.
It's tucked into his shirt when he walks into the firehouse. During any downtime he can be seen with his hand by his neck, running his fingers over the chain as he reads something on his phone or talks to someone.
He fingers it through his shirt as they drive back to the station. Eddie smiles softly as he watches, feeling the weight of his own necklace on his chest.
He holds it between his fingers, sliding it back and forth across the chain as everyone tries to get some rest in the bunkroom. The quiet brrrrr-brrrrr-brrrrr of it sliding across the ball chain cuts through the otherwise silent bunkroom. He tucks it back into his shirt when he hears a very pointed sshhh! from Hen’s bed.
He’s making breakfast near the end of a 24. He’s got three different pans on the stove and an intense focus as he cooks and plates. He’s not even aware of the medallion between his teeth until he sits down with the rest of his team to eat. He lets it fall, finally giving everyone a chance to see what he had been fidgeting with the past few shifts.
top 3 pavitr prabhakar moments:
"and this is where the british stole all of our stuff!"
"now let me guess you're gonna ask me about saffron and cardamom and naan bread which is the same as saying bread bread which is the same as saying CHAI TEA >:(" "oh i love chai tea" "NO"
"well that was another easy adventure for spider-ma---" [everything explodes]
Did anyone else notice the ‘listening’ motif in this movie?!
Like miles is constantly asking his parents to listen, so is Gwen with her dad.
It’s like neither of them feel heard or listened to.
I’m not entirely sure how it plays into the movies larger message of writing your own story and growing up, and one’s relationship with their parents. But it defo connects.
I would just like to thank across the spiderverse for further confirming my belief that one cannot be Spider-Man without being at least a little gay or trans
Jamie dyslexic, flappy hands, jumping up and down, i don't know I don't know I don't know, tiny shorts, comfortable clothing, hands in shirt/sleeves, dissociation depression anxiety, tongue thing, not picking up on social cues, can't sit "normally" (curled up on the bench, sitting on the floor, etc), explains his feelings in ways a lot of people think are funny or weird but are actually very accurate and the only way he knows how to describe them, needs to be constantly fidgeting and moving around chewing on hoodie string messing with his mom's pant leg, exaggerated facial expressions, sensory issues Tartt, my beloved
Mate me to. I was happy stimming at his hops but also really wanted to help him feel better.
The autism in Jamie Tartt in todays episode was showing!
The stimming when he was upset. The flapping his hands. Not knowing how he’s feeling or why. The chewing on his hoodie strings. The need for comfort from people he trusts. All of it.
It’s just very clear this episode. And I kinda love it. It just furthers my head cannon.
Jamie Tartt neurodivergent CONFIRMED this episode with that breakdown because I too want to just move my body around when I’m too emotionally overwhelmed and ALSO don’t have any idea how to articulate what I’m feeling or why
It's about the posters. It's about pouring the two coffees into one cup. It's about the two bottles of champagne shared between the three of them. It's about comfort after an injury. It's about who you bring home. It's about who you let around your niece. It's about trying. It's about who you trust at your worst, with your worst. It's about growing and becoming better. It's about accountability. It's about learning you deserve to be better. It's about the people who will hold you. It's about love. It's about triangles being the strongest shape.

netflix daredevil is so good to me bc even tho matt does has heightened senses, he’s very human. no super speed, no super strength, no super healing. he goes out every single night and bleeds for his city. and he’s not the only one. it’s claire working in one of the most dangerous hospitals. its ben urich spending decades writing exposes. it’s karen standing up against union allied even tho it put a mark on her head. it’s foggy walking into a biker gang bar in search of the truth & constantly putting his career and safety on the line for the little guy. it’s brett risking his job and his life by being a clean cop. daredevil is a collection of small glimmers of hope and strength emerging in response to fear
I think it might have been better for him if i was the one who got shot.
everyone's like wehhhhh why doesn't doctor house gets suuuueeed! like my man. literally every patient he sees is someone that's been trying to find a diagnosis for ages. i could live with a little medical malpractice if it were coming from someone ready to break into my home to look for allergens and not simply half heartedly listen to me before suggesting I lose weight and take ages of back and forth arguing to order a single test
according to jensen, here dean was thinking:
You want to know your future? I know your future. It's covered in thick black ooze.
NOVEMBER 5TH IN SUPERNATURAL HISTORY [ i n s p ]
Okay so I’ve been watching Rookie, and I wanna talk about how Tim and Lucy’s relationship changed after season 1 finale where Tim got exposed to a disease.
Like it changed more noticeably after Lucy’s kidnapping but it changed here too just more subtly.
“May I?” “You may.”
i can't stop thinking about photographer buck so...
It’s mostly a joke, when Eddie first mentions photography to him. Buck's editing a photo on Lightroom on his phone between calls, a photo of Eddie and Chris at the beach.
It's beautiful and Eddie loves it. Buck took it without them even noticing, the photo being even more special that way. Eddie is laughing at something Chris said, they're both wet from playing on the ocean and they have sand on their arms, hands and shoulders. The sun shining down and making the both of them look golden. The rays of sunshine forming almost a halo around them— the waves at the back making the picture even more breathtaking.
Eddie's half joking, half serious, when he tells Buck to buy a fancy camera to take pictures with.
He didn't think Buck would actually listen to him.
Next thing he knows, Buck's instagram becomes full of digitized film pictures of the 118, their family barbeques at the Grant-Nash's house. Pictures of Chris and Eddie at the beach, of Jee playing at the park, of Maddie laughing at one of Chim's jokes. A lot of pictures of Eddie, too.
Pictures of Eddie, of him rolling his eyes with a hand held out and half covering his face. A picture of Eddie mid-way through a laugh, an easy smile on his face.
And he swears, never before a camera has made his stomach do back-flips the way it does when Buck is trying to take a picture of him.
“I swear, I’ll break that thing if you don’t get that out of my face,” he snaps at him. They're in Eddie's kitchen and he's trying to follow a recipe Linda sent him last week, Buck being an enormous distraction and not helpful at all.
"I like capturing people in crisis, Eddie." Buck smirks, all smug and teasing. Eddie kinda hates him a little bit.
Except for the part where he doesn't hate him at all.
Buck grins, bright and unapologetic and Eddie loves him. So much he aches with it.
"Yeah, okay. Whatever." Eddie rolls his eyes, trying to suppress the fond smile that it's already forming on his face.
Later, he'll see the picture Buck takes. Eddie will be covered in flour, it'll be everywhere. In his arms, his clothes, his cheeks. The kitchen around him a mess of ingredients and half ass attempts at a meal. Eddie looking down with a small, shy smile. The warm, almost orange glow of the kitchen light making him look all soft and golden. Later, he'll see that picture and will think oh.
Oh.
He sees me the same way I see him.
Oh.
It doesn't take a long time after they get together for Geralt to realize what kind of power he has over Jaskier.
Jaskier: *is about to do something stupid that will probably get both of them injured or killed*
Geralt: *putting an arm over Jaskier’s waist* / *grabbing Jaskier’s hand and kissing it* / *stretching so his shirt rises, exposing his abs* / *giving Jaskier a suggestive look*
Jaskier: *totally forgets whatever he was about to do, focusing entirely on Geralt*
i’m right where you left me (thinking about how they shot eddie in front of buck and literally sprayed buck with his best friends blood and then had him desperately try and save his best friends life and how in that moment buck probably thought he had lost eddie and how in that moment when he thought he was dying eddie must have been glad at least that the last thing he ever saw was buck)
If you and your partner practice frequent, non-sexual consent, your relationship will be healthier and easier.
“Are you comfortable with me ranting about my day for a few minutes?”
“Oh, this is your poetry? Would it be okay if I read it?”
“Do you mind if I use your phone for a few minutes?”
“Wow, your meal looks awesome. Could I try some?”
It will save a lot of grief, especially in a developing relationship. Eventually, with consistent “yes’s” and “no’s” you can figure out more permanent boundaries and guidelines.
“I need to ask before ranting about my day or taking their food, but my partner is okay with me using their phone whenever. However, my partner does not like me reading their poetry unless they offer first.”

For more information, I recommend checking out aceweek.org or acesandaros.org ! You can also read up on ace history through the Asexual Manifesto by Lisa Orlando !

The more I think about it, Buck making not one but two jokes about jerking off when talking to Hen about becoming a sperm donor? The more it becomes one of the most casually heartbreaking Buck scenes we've ever witnessed.
The way Buck will use his body to deflect from the vast well of grief and pain that he cannot bear to feel. (And a clever writing choice to have Hen be drunk and also navigating her own crisis, because I bet a sober Hen would have clocked what was going on.)
That he didn't even allow himself to contemplate the ramifications — beyond jerking off in a cup — of giving away a part of himself. Because that's all he is, right? Just DNA, just body parts, just a body. Best he can hope is for his parts to be useful. He can be good at his job and he can take care of Chris if Eddie dies and he can use his body to help an old friend have a family, something Buck's heart desperately wants, but doesn't believe he'll ever get to have.
But he can't think about any of that. So it's just dick jokes. Fucking brutal, 911.
We’re not heroes. We’re from Finchley.
