Thinking Of A Peter Parker In Gotham Au Where He Gets Surprise Adopted By Jason Because Jason Couldn't

It was only supposed to be a simple mission. Red Robin and Nightwing were sent to investigate some magical ruins that might have a lead on one of thier shared cases. Kon had practically begged to come along since he and Tim hadn't seen eachother in a while. Nightwing didn't see a problem with it so off they went.

It was later that night when they were asleep in thier tents (Timm was forced to sleep via the power of kons puppy dog eyes) that something strange happened.

Phantom wobbled a bit in flight. He didn't know where or when he was. He had just escaped his parents after they saw Vlad transform and in a fit of rage, Vlad outed Danny too.

Vlad was killed pretty quickly. But Danny? They tried to "fix" Danny. It was only thanks to Jazz freeing him that he could bolt into the Ghost Zone and disappear. And bolt he did. He went so far so fast that he didn't even notice when he re-entered the living realms and just kept going.

Not wanting to make his situation worse, he decided to bed down for the night. His wounds weren't exactly healed but they were closed and that was what really mattered. He phased the blood out of his clothes as he silently approached a camp. Thier fire was out, properly drenched too. Danny had a thought to swipe some food but decided not to. Not out of morality, desperate times and all that, but because he physically couldn't muster up the energy to do anything more than curl up on the grass and pass out from exhaustion.

Needless to say when Tim wakes up the next morning and sees what appears to be a younger version of himself curled up outside he freaks out. He sneakily snags a sample and compared it to his own DNA and, suprise! Its a match. Aside from the obvious marks of cloning in his genetic structure and this odd unknown element sticking to it he was a perfect match for Tim Drake Wayne.

Nightwing woke up to find Tim standing over his unconscious mini and muttering about him being a dad. Dick was glad he packed that expensive coffee. They were all going to need it.

Kon was just excited to be an uncle.

Green Arrow had a new child scientist villain. Who needs glasses?

Danny was already with the many Blob Ghosts working for him (think of them as Minions of Despicable Me). This new place is a super funny vacation place! He should think ghostwriter about it. True, his eyes were hurt by the portal, but that would be gone in a few years. But who cares about it? With just his genius and no powers as a human, he can show he is a genius! That was how Danny, without knowing it, became a wonderful child who was just having chaotic fun in the new world. It's like a game for him; it's not like he would have problems.

Batman has the Joker.

Superman has Lex Luthor.

Wonder Woman has the cheetah.

But Green Arrow! Green Arrow has a child scientist! with a tragic childhood who does musicals to explain his evil plans.

Just for the poor comedy and Oliver trying to hide it from the other heroes out of embarrassment. Of being defeated by a child and not being able to capture him. ++ Danny looked at Oliver Queen without his green Arrow mask. "An ordinary civilian with a goat?" Oliver saw as he put on his hood. Danny:"An ordinary civilian dressed up as a Green Arrow?" Oliver puts on the mask. Danny: "Ah! Green ARROW! " Green Arrow gave a tired sigh. Black Canary:" When we finally are able to capture him, The first thing we will do is send him to an ophthalmologist." Danny:" Since you are here, I wil tell you about my trash-inator!" Oliver:" So It creates trash." Danny:" NO! Man, are you evil? It collects all the trash in the whole city and teleports it away." Black Canary:" That is a pretty good indicator. You could do much goo..." Danny:" Yes, then into the Bat Cave all the trash of the Star city will go. I was paid by Red Hood to do that." Oliver:" NOO!!"

++ So because Oliver covered it up until now, Danny has now become a world-wide problem. Oliver really didn't want to say he lost a child or explain it. Danny with his Shrink Ray:" Tonight we steal the Legion of Doom HQ/The Hall of Justice!" All the Blob Ghost:" YAYY!"

And yes, Danny stole the Legion of Doom HQ/The Hall of Justice as both Heroes and Villian fought each other in a great battle.

That was the moment Oliver had to explain the problem that he had covered up.

Halloween prompts no. 23

Au where when danny left the portal his friends noticed his white hasmat suit was missing from his human form but both his cloths and suit remained on his ghost form, puzzling them. They never found out what happened to it, but decided it didn't matter.

A large jewel was on display at one of the highest security museums in Gotham, one said to be cursed and causes terrible misfortune to anyone who dares touch it. But Selina Kyle was no coward and had nine lives to back her up, meow~

The notorious cat-burglar managed to fight off Batman long enough to grab the jewel, but the moment she opened her mouth to taunt him a large green portal opened up above them and something fell out of it before it snapped shut as suddenly as it appeared.

They both stared in shock at the form of a fourteen year old boy lying unconscious on the floor between them. Catwoman made a run for it while Batman called an ambulance. The boy wasn't breathing. After doing CPR the boy began to breath again but did not wake up. He took a blood sample in hopes of tracking down any family members this kid may have had and watching over him as he was loaded into the vehicle.

What he never could have guessed was that the child was his. Well, his and Selinas. The only real problem was that Selina had no memory of being pregnant and wasn't missing any time. She also showed no signs of mental tampering but the blood sample held no indication of cloning or genetic engineering. Hmm.

Stranger still the kid would flatline multiple times throughout the day and night without any clear cause and his heart would randomly start beating again several minutes later. The amount of times his death had been "called" was unheard of. No one knew what to make of it.

Still, when he told the family they were confused and intrigued. They all wanted to go meet thier brother even if he wasn't awake. Damian seemed a bit off, but was reassured by the knowledge this kid was about a year younger than him.

19 year old Phantom woke up strapped to a table in a lab in another dimension. He hadn't been to his home dimension in years for various reasons he really didn't want to discuss and spent most of his time in the Infinite Realms exploring with Ellie.

Danny casually phased out of his restraints and began wondering around. He heard the sounds of combat several floors down and figured that was why there was no one bothering him at the moment. It wasn't long before he came across a room filled with literal infants in hospital cribs and the only thing Danny could think was oh ancients, I got cloned again.

Needless to say he made several duplicates of himself and picked up all five children, cooing at them until they settled. Before making a portal back to the GZ Danny created a virus out of ghost lightning (something Technus taught him) and infected the computers to erase all data on it, regardless of wheat that data was.

By the time the Young Justice team burst in lead by Kon the information was already half destroyed and the clones that were made of each of them and the mysterious pit creature were gone.

By the time Tim managed to stop the virus there wasn't much left on the computers that was useful. They got a tiny bit more information on the pit creature, basically just 2 pictures of it. One of it sleeping in a talk filled with Lazarus water and one of it asleep restraints to a metal table. Other than that it was noted that its blood was a much much more potent version of the Lazarus Pit and was capable of bringing inanimate objects to life and at times giving them sentience.

They did get some camera footage of Phantom waking up, and everything that happened after, including the portal he made.

Kon was distraught that his little clone child was gone.

Five years later Danny was none the wiser that most of the kids weren't his biologically. Not that it would have mattered much to him anyway. Danny had no idea why his daughters hair was blond. (Cassies clone) He didn't know many people from his extended family due to his parents being disowned long before he and Jazz were born so he just assumed it skipped a generation or two. Besides, she and one of her brothers (Dannys clone) had the same icy blue eyes as him. One seemed to have the same auburn hair as dannys mother and was ridiculously fast (Barts clone) and the biggest one (Kons clone) loved sunlight and danny made extra sure to bring him out to sunny areas often after a health scare early on. He already learned out to shoot lasers from his eyes and Dannys only concern was that the lasers were red instead of pink or green, which was unusual.

The smallest and smartest of the pack (Tim's clone) was very clingy and affectionate. He was almost always with dannys clone either playing together or being menaces to society. There was rarely an in-between.

It was on one of thier little adventures (Danny looks away for two seconds and the whole lot of them are gone) that they wondered back in to thier home dimension and got noticed pretty quickly due to Kons clone very obviously having kryptonian superpowers.

Here's were the problems start.

Halloween prompts no. 11

Something happens where Lazarus pits are opening up all over the world and no one knows whats going on or how to stop it.

Robin and Red Robin find a boy at a Lazarus Pit and watch from the shadows as the boy raises a hand and his eyes glow the same as those who carry the pit madness, the only difference was the sharp white light of his pupils. Within moments the Lazarus Pit seems to crumple in on itself but in reverse. The stones rising from within the pit and the glowing waters receding until there was no hint a pit was there in the first place.

Damian rushes in with his katana despite his brother telling him to stop and demands the boy explain. Instead he vanishes into thin air. The birds fight as the boy makes his unseen escape.

This continues with Lazarus Pits opening and just as mysteriously closing and the batfam/Justice League enter a race against the League of Assasins, the League of Shadows and the Chaos Lords, as well as many other factions who want to capture this child and learn his secrets.

After all, its clear that this boy knows far more about Lazarus than anyone has a right to, and perhaps even whats going on.

Danny keeps getting saved and saving these strange people. Mostly these ones in red black and yellow. Sometimes purple. Also they have muscles...Ancients. Sam had always joked that a good heart and muscles made him swoon, but he never knew he was this bad. How dare he. Getting back on track, he enters into a pseudo partnership with one of them as they work together to avoid Danny being captured and using weapons made from blood blossom plants to fight boss battles against the monsters the currupted Lazarus Pits spawn (or "Pit Bosses" as Jason calls them) Danny immediately closes the pit after the monster had been defeated and turned into goo.

Danny never explains himself. Who he is (other than his first name), whats happening, how is he connected to these events, how he's closing the pits, what are those things, nothing. Cue batfam member using thier detective training and gathering clues to discover the truth.

At the end of the journey they work together to fight an Ancient. A truly ancient being from Lazarus itself seeking to murder the prince and usurp his throne by drowning this world in the toxic energy of Lazarus and devouring the souls of all that passed, gaining the power necessary to rule.

They beat him of course and Danny slays him once and for all with a spear made from the stems and thorny vines of the blood blossom plant. Later, while everyone else is celebrating, Danny tries to sneak away and the batfam member follows him to a bus stop near the party. They can still faintly hear the people as they stand there under the streetlight.

"Where you really planning to leave without saying goodbye?"

"It would probably be for the best."

"And why is that?"

Cue love confession that tuggs at readers heartstrings and Danny confessing back only for Danny to reveal his Phantom form and tell them it could never work as Danny was a spirit of Lazarus, the prince himself, and it could never work between them as Danny had died years ago and left the living world and all his connections to it behind.

Phantom couldn't sustain himself in the living realms without the power of the Lazarus Pits everywhere as he would fade if he didn't return to his own reality. The batfam member couldn't come to Lazarus because the place was toxic to the living and they could never survive there.

They had to say goodbye.

A portal opens up behind Danny, making him seem to glow all the more and imprinting a scene of ethereal beauty into the batfam members mind forever. Then he was gone and they were left alone and hollow with the sounds of others joy not too far away.

Dick comes by soon after to ask what that light was only to see his little sibling staring blankly ahead and silently crying. Dick bundles them into his arms and they start sobbing, letting loose the most soul shattering sound big bird had ever heard.

The end.

Or is it?

Most of the people involved had been exposed to high levels of ecto radiation off and on throughout this adventure, and the batfam member can't help but think of what could have been. Couldn't help but think of the future they could have had together, the dumb quips Danny would make, the way his brow would furrow whenever he was worried about someone, the cute way he'd turn invisible when startled bad enough or-or!

The batfam watch uncomfortably as one of thier own falls apart, but its just heartbreak right? Little do they know the true essence of Lazarus isn't just life or death.

It's obsession

Jason was acting strange.

Bruce was worried. It had started when the batfam investigated the hideout of a new gang in Gotham. They had attacked Jason earlier that week with strange weapons, so Batman, Nightwing and Red Hood followed them to a warehouse. They saw the men in white suits with the weapons, several vans and some sort of powersource they called a core. Batman and Nightwing were making a plan when one of the men activated the machine housing the core.

Suddenly Red Hood had gone ballistic! He attacked them recklessly, with much more force than neccesary. Nightwing had to sto him from beating one of them to death! Batman was furious. They left the men for commisioner Gordon and took some evidence to the cave. When they arrived, Jason looked shaken. Bruce wanted to scold him, but the look on Jason's face made him pause. He needed to focus on the case, but he knew he couldn't bring Jason along. So he 'benched' Jason. Thats what the Robins called it, anyway. But someone needed to guard the evidence, they had no idea what this power core even was.

He expected Jason to protest. To insult him to complain. But when Bruce told Jason to look after the core, he instead looked suprised. Really? Jason had asked. Then Jason had told Bruce he could count on him. Red flag number 1. This had confused Bruce, but if it kept Jason from following then it was fine.

Then Jason had started carrying the core everywhere. He held it in his hand, close to his chest. He stayed in the manor, wich was red flag number 2. Damian had caught him talking to the thing numerous times. Alfred had heard Jason in the library, reading a children's book out loud. Tim noticed whenever they discussed the gang of men in white suits that Jason would leave, instead of listening. Dick had even caught Jason singing softly to it! Too many red flags to count.

Bruce was worried about him. He was starting to worry about mind control! But when he had tried to confront Jason, he had cut him off. Jason told Bruce that he knew he had messed up at the warehouse, that he had gone too far. So he was really happy that Bruce had trusted him with this. After that Bruce had been too stunned to say anything about it. But they knew the problem had to be adressed. During dinner, the whole family where going to discuss this matter with Jason.

That was before the core transformed into a glowing, white haired child.

Give me demon twins with a complicated relationship. no more Damian and Danny who have a semi-healthy relationship.

Give me younger brother Danny who is overshadowed by Damian.

Give me a Danny who doesn't know Bruce Wayne is his father because he could never meet his mother's expectations.

Give me Damian who refuses to tell him because Danny needs to earn it.

Give me a Damian who sees Danny as weak because he's more in tune with his emotions, and who absolutely hates him for it.

Give me a Damian who when tasked by grandfather to prune the weak branches of the bloodline he does so with no hesitation.

Give me a Danny who fucking fears Damian and knows that Damian will kill him on the orders of Ras.

Give me a Danny who doesn't fight back because he knows that he can never beat Damian, who accepts his fate.

Give me a Danny who's happy that it was Damian his older brother who gets to kill him.

Give me a Danny who tells Damian that "it had to be you."

Give me demon twins with a complicated relationship that even after Danny was put in the Lazarus pits and sent to bumbfuck Illinois and Damian was sent to his father. Danny still fears Damian, and Damian while no longer hating Danny for his preserved weakness resents him for not fighting back and just letting him kill him.

Give me a Danny who's relationship with Damian colors, or at least tint the relationship he has with Jazz.

Give me a Danny who does have a personality of his own and just does what is expected from him because he doesn't want the Fentons to throw him away as the Al Ghuls did.

Give me a Damian who realized that Danny was all the goodness in his family, that would have fit in better with father's side of the family better than him because Danny was the better person.

Give me a Damian who ends up idolizing the memory of Danny and who he could have been.

Give me demon twins with a complicated relationship that when they reunite, Danny freaks the fuck out and Damian just freezes.

A young villian who claims to be in love with one of the bats uses a magical cursed item/some kind of freaky tech to blast said bat and make them fall in love with them.

Things don't go as planned as Phantom is thrown into the mix by a ghost he had been trying to fight discretely in Gotham.

The bat falls in love with Phantom.

Problem is that the bat immediately goes full yandere/psyco and Phantom freaks out and flees. Danny can't run or hide forever but by the ancients, he's gonna try.

As Good as Good Gets (DP X DC Snippet)

Richard "Dick" Grayson is the golden child. In the eyes of the public, and in the eyes of the league. Dick is a sweet, caring son, a man who went from being a sidekick to being a hero. The pipeline from Robin to Nightwing had many people applauding his dedication to keeping Gotham safe.

No one knew the full story, not truly. No one but Bruce Wayne himself. And maybe a certain butler. Many don't know that Dick only became Robin to stop him from hunting down and killing the man who killed his parents.

No one really knows about the harsh fights and arguments he has had with Bruce. The times when Dick would find himself cut off from the Wayne name for a week or so. No one knows that the first person Dick warmed up to was Alfred. Having been bribed with cookies.

Things weren't always this good, trusting, happy relationship between Bruce and Dick. It had been a rough ride, a complicated one. But that was okay, because it got better.

Dick stopped being so moody and angsty. He grew up, he learned, and he changed. He became an older brother, found people that needed him. Needed him in a way that the citizens of Gotham didn't need him.

His brothers like to call him annoying. A goody two shoes who Bruce trusted more than everyone else. They couldn't fathom how someone like Dick could be so stupid and bubbly at all times.

All times, except when shit hits the fans. Despite the name calling, despite coining Dick as the stupid Wayne. They all knew better. They knew that when it mattered, Dick Grayson always pulled through. He was a force to be reckoned with when needed.

The whole Wayne family was a force to be reckoned with when called for. It didn't have to be under the guise of costumes and vigilante acts. Whether he was Officer Grayson or Nightwing, Dick was a man with his morals and values.

One night on patrol as Officer Grayson, Dick found someone who needed that force. A force willing to protect and care for the innocent. The hurt. The damaged, yet still good.

It started like any other night. A call of shots fired by an empty warehouse. There was no sighting or knowledge of any rouges being there, so Dick took the call. Told the team he'll contact them if it seems more than just a civilian incident.

The warehouse was dark, reeked of copper and oil. It didn't take long for Dick to find the trail. The liquid he found looked like the person had been dragged before walking. There was a clear struggle, even with the mess and emptiness that was the warehouse.

That wasn't Dick's biggest concern. The concern lay in just how much blood there was. Too much for any normal person to lose and still manage to stumble through the warehouse.

It wasn't just blood. It wasn't that much, but Dick could spot the strangeness in the liquid. The mixed in green that had an eerily similar color and glow as a certain pit.

Without thinking, Dick followed the trail. Barely remembering to make contact with his family. Give them an update on what he found. Words telling him to stay put for backup went in one ear and out the other.

Something in Dick's gut was telling him he couldn't wait. He needed to find the source. Whoever was currently bleeding out in this warehouse. He silenced the comm, moving further through the dimly lit building.

Then Dick found it. Or more so, he found him. It was just a boy. A boy that reminded Dick too much of the youngest Wayne. A boy sat against a wall, looking pale and weak.

Red and green coated the front of the boy's shirt, arms wrapped tightly around his middle. An attempt to stem the bleeding. A puddle had already started to form beneath the boy, and Dick moved without thinking once again.

He quickly found himself kneeling beside the boy, hands carefully reaching out. Before Dick even touched him, the boy flinched. Eyelids suddenly opened, wide and terrified blue eyes landed on Dick's.

In just that one look, Dick knew what he had to do. The haunting, terrified, and pained look in the boy's eyes told Dick everything he needed to know. The boy was in danger. Someone had hurt this kid, and it was clear it wasn't the first time.

The boy struggled weakly against Dick's touch, terrified whimpers, and barely coherent pleas spilled from the kid's lips. It had Dick's heart aching, clear as day the poor kid has been through hell and back.

It took a lot of reassurance, gentle touches, and promises of help before the kid let Dick take a look at the bleeding wound. A promise on Dick's soul had been the final thing that earned him any semblance of trust. A strange promise, but Dick was willing to make it.

That concern turned to pure anger the moment Dick managed to pull the sticky shirt away from the wound. The sight of a Y-incision cut perfectly into the skin, stitches tight on the skin, but blood still leaking heavily from the wound.

It didn't take long for Dick to realize why. Despite the perfect surgical care of the wound, a good couple of stitches had broken. Leaving gaping spots for that red and green liquid to pour out of.

The boy was deathly silent, tears streaking down his cheek as wide blue eyes stayed trained on Dick. In that moment, Dick knew he had to help. Had to get the kid to safety, patch him up, and find out what kind of monster would do this.

It didn't matter if the kid was human or not. It didn't matter if the kid had special abilities or not. No one, absolutely no one, deserved to be vivisected.

The kid was shrouded in mystery, but that mystery only seemed to grow and become clearer when Bruce had entered the scene. The boy had tensed, eyes flashing a bright glowing green.

Lazarus pit green.

It set a pit of dread in Dick's gut. His mind brings forward memories of Jason. Jason, after his revival, after his dip in that cursed pit. The same flash that his brother would get if he got too angry. Too emotional.

As much as Dick wanted to focus on finding who did this, if it had any connection to Ra's al Ghul. He couldn't. Not when the kid tried to get up, to pull away as Bruce and the others made their way closer.

Right now, Dick only cared about making sure the boy was okay. Fixing those stitches, getting him a meal, and a warm bed.

He needed to get this kid someplace where he felt safe and secure. Comfortable and protected. Dick wasn't sure why. Maybe it was the promise he had made, but he wasn't letting anyone get to the kid.

That included his family. As strange as it seemed, Dick put himself between the others and the kid. Shooting them all a glare that they had only ever seen a handful of times.

Dick lifted the poor boy up in his arms, cradling the crying child close as he led the way out of the warehouse. Ignoring the questions or confusion coming from Bruce and the others. As Dick walked, feeling the trembling boy clinging to him, he made a rather obvious realization.

Maybe the eldest son really was more like Bruce than he expected. Just a few short moments the the boy, a boy that Dick didn't know his name, and he was ready to pull out adoption papers. To give the boy a safety he so desperately needs.

Give him the chance that Bruce had given him all those years ago.
