Garp is the funniest character of One Piece because he's a marine and yet he had a revolutionary son and then three grandsons who are basically: A communist, an arsonist, and an anarchist. The four of them definitely say "fuck the Marines" on a daily basis but would probably show up to a family dinner as if nothing happened

“How the hell did you block that with a shield?!” They asked, somehow confused at the concept of what a shield is supposed to do.

Shichibukai Ace AU
Doflamingo to Ace : Excuse me? Who made you the boss of the group?
Kuma : You did.
Crocodile : It was you.
Mihawk : You said "Ace should be boss."
Hancock : And then you said "let's vote" and it was unanimous.
Jinbe : And then you made him this little plaque that said "Boss of Us" And you put little sparkles on it.
Doflamingo : Valid points, all.
Ace with his "Boss of Us" plaque : "Join the shichibukai it will be good," they were saying.
Ace: Do you truly think so little of me?
Dadan: Ace, I thought the world of you.
What I expected from Prime: each version of Amy falling in love with Sonic all over again.
What it appears we're actually getting: Sonic falling for Amy more and more with each version of her he meets.
One thing that I keep forgetting, that makes me absolutely feral every time I remember it, is who Merlin is in Arthur's POV.
We, as an audience, know how capable, powerful and trustworthy Merlin is. It's so obvious to us and we know how much he deservers Arthur's trust and respect.
We go "Ha ha, Arthur is so oblivious" or "I can't believe Arthur said that to Merlin".
But that's the thing. We keep forgetting how unaware Arthur is of who Merlin actually is.
To Arthur, Merlin is some peasants boy who came out of nowhere. Somebody who acted way above his station. Someone who has no notable skill.
And he STILL trusts Merlin more than anyone else.
He doesn't know he's a powerful sorcerer like we do. To him, he's just some guy. A servant.
And we know that Arthur isn't someone who judges by station, but the sheer amount of trust he places in Merlin is absolutely beautiful.
Merlin knew about the destiny. Arthur didn't. And he was still so helplessly devoted to Merlin.
