There’s a running theme in the series where the Forgers repeat back impactful words that was said to them to other people. So imagine post-reveal, Yor gets told about all of Twilight’s deeds: how he lied, cheated and manipulated others. But instead of getting angry, she repeats back his words from this scene:
Twilight hears this and he cries.
I’ll cry too because what he said here meant so much to Yor. For the first time, there’s someone who understands her and her sacrifices. These words made her choose him.
Ace doesn’t know who his dad is Prompt Request
Can someone PLEASE make a marinford arc Fic where Ace doesn’t know who his dad is (maybe he even thinks him and luffy share the same dad?)
And then when Sengoku is talking about Ace’s birth and his father Ace starts arguing with him. (Because he thinks that it’s ridiculous and doesn’t believe it)
One thing that I keep forgetting, that makes me absolutely feral every time I remember it, is who Merlin is in Arthur's POV.
We, as an audience, know how capable, powerful and trustworthy Merlin is. It's so obvious to us and we know how much he deservers Arthur's trust and respect.
We go "Ha ha, Arthur is so oblivious" or "I can't believe Arthur said that to Merlin".
But that's the thing. We keep forgetting how unaware Arthur is of who Merlin actually is.
To Arthur, Merlin is some peasants boy who came out of nowhere. Somebody who acted way above his station. Someone who has no notable skill.
And he STILL trusts Merlin more than anyone else.
He doesn't know he's a powerful sorcerer like we do. To him, he's just some guy. A servant.
And we know that Arthur isn't someone who judges by station, but the sheer amount of trust he places in Merlin is absolutely beautiful.
Merlin knew about the destiny. Arthur didn't. And he was still so helplessly devoted to Merlin.
I read somewhere that Luffy is so keen on being friends with Law because Law is the first person in his life to ever approach him first. In every other relationship, it was Luffy asking, or demanding, to be friends first.
And I haven't been the same ever since.
I enjoyed the Prime!Sonamy moments so much that I made a compilation.
Watch to your hearts content! 🩷💙

“How the hell did you block that with a shield?!” They asked, somehow confused at the concept of what a shield is supposed to do.
