Prompt #65

“You can’t be serious right? You want to fight me just because I took down your favorite bakery shop?!” The villain exclaimed in disbelief, their jaw wide open.

The hero didn’t falter, frowning with their eyebrows and lips. “It had the best banana bread! You can’t just do that and not expect me to come find your ass!” The hero said, defensively.

The villain couldn’t help but find it cute, as they let out a laugh. “How about I promise to buy you the best bakery shop in the world?”

The hero took a step forward. “It doesn’t matter. I want the one that you destroyed.”

“I didn’t know.” The villain sighed, feeling like a helpless parent that had thrown an old toy of their child away, and now the child wanted it back.

The hero jabbed their finger to the villain’s chest, squinting their eyes. “You pay the owner to build it back, and I won’t fight you.” They demanded, staring daggers into the villain’s eyes.

“Fine.” The villain mumbled, after thinking for a second.

“Fine?” The hero questioned, not being able to believe the villain’s words.

The villain nodded. “Yes, fine.”

“You promise?” The hero asked, smiling slightly, as their hand smoothed over the villain’s chest.

“Yes, I promise, hero.” The villain smiled reluctantly as well.

And they indeed did help the owner rebuild the shop, an even bigger one just to see that gleaming smile on the hero’s face when they suggested it.

Oh, and they also had many dates in the shop.

Prompt #35

"Well, what do you think?" The villain asked as the hero looked at himself in the mirror with an unsettling frown permanently attached to his eyebrows.

"Are you sure no one will recognize me at the party? You know, this is a very important mission, right?" The hero spoke, spinning his body a little and then moving closer to check his face.

"I'm sure no one will recognize you. I've been dressing you up for 3 hours now, so I know how important it is, babe." The villain retorted, his hands gesturing in the air between them. He decided that if the mission went downhill, it wouldn't be his fault. It would be the hero's fault, with the way he's still frowning like a baby, unknowingly ruining his makeup. He sighed and shifted his feet towards the other man.

"Just relax, would ya? You can always call me for backup." The villain kissed the hero to calm down his nerves. The hero kissed back hungrily. His heart jumped with nervousness. "Okay, okay. Let's not get carried away." The villain laughed, and the hero's cheeks stained with red.

"Thank you." The hero murmured, and the villain grinned.

Prompt #74

By @writingpromptsworld

“You’ll always be here to fight me, right?” The villain asks, pinning the hero to the wall, keeping an arm under their neck to keep them there firmly.

The hero grunted, leaning their head back to the rough bricks. They smirked slightly. “Why? Scared I’ll choose some other villain over you?”

“Shut up.” The villain said, pressing harder. The hero groaned, their hands moving to the villain’s waist.

They kept the smug grin on their face. “It’s okay, you can admit it. You like me, or dare I say, prefer me.”

And that was all it took for the villain to break. They leaned forward and smashed their lips with the hero’s, and the hero let out a laugh, pulling the villain closer.

Snippet #8

"Well, well, well. Look who's here, everyone. My favorite villain." The supervillain said, coming forward. His eyes were wide with excitement, his voice even more. He opened his arms to hug the villain, but the villain swatted them away sternly. And, the supervillain frowned.

"I heard you have my boyfriend locked up." The villain spat, scowling. The supervillain perked his eyebrows, smirking.

"I didn't know Hero was your boyfriend." The supervillain laughed, somewhat delighted. He turned around and started walking. The villain followed, still scowling.

"Let him go, or else..." The villain began, a dangerous tone to his voice. The supervillain stopped in his tracks and spun around.

"Or else?"

"Or else, you won't see the rising sun tomorrow." The villain growled, and yanked the supervillain by his collar, pressing him against the nearest wall. The supervillain shook his head, smiling dumbly.

"You see, I mean no harm to your boyfriend or you, for that matter. Now, let me go." He demanded sternly. The villain didn't even budge.

"First of all, tell him where he is. I do not care if you meant any harm or not, you have him tied up regardless. That's a crime in my book, no one is allowed to touch him but me." The villain hurled and dug his fingers into the supervillain's neck. The supervillain wrapped his hand around the other's wrist and forced him to let him go.

"Fine, fine. We've known each other for years now, and you still act like I'm a threat." The supervillain grumbled, moving to straighten his shirt. The villain just scoffed. "Follow me."

When they reached the end of the corridor, the supervillain glanced at the villain. "I don't have him tied up, just so you know." An almost hurt expression caressed his features, and the villain wanted to laugh. When the villain opened the door, he saw the hero sitting in a lavish chair, drinking wine from a fancy cup, and laughing at something the supervillain's sidekick was saying. He frowned. The hero looked him up and down and stood up.

"I thought you were fucking kidnapped!" The villain exclaimed, going to the hero, and hugging him tightly. The hero, stunned, hugged him back.

"No, the supervillain wanted to hang out. Who told you I was kidnapped?" The hero asked, his eyes going to the supervillain, who shrugged in return.

"Your sidekick!" The villain cried, and the hero laughed.

"Oh, he was just joking, babe." The hero kissed him.

"I'm going to kill that bastard." The villain said, embarrassingly.

Snippet #4

The villain’s sidekick hissed as he was thrown to the ground by the hero, pinning his wrists above his head. The villain grinned, coming out from the shadows that hid him. “What? Can’t even take that?” He said, still smiling. The sidekick scowled, trying to escape the hero’s tight grip on his wrists. The hero chuckled.

“Get off of me!” The sidekick cried, groaning. Getting pinned by the villain daily was another thing, getting pinned by the hero was another. It awakens something inside him, unlike when he was with the villain. He’d gotten used to the villain doing that every time on their training grounds. He was baffled at how he managed to always get under the villain. The hero huffed, standing up. The villain came forward and offered a hand. He swatted away, frowning.

“Aww come on, you weren’t that bad. Just need to improvise a little more, and you will be the one pinning me to the ground.” The hero said, winking. The villain nodded in agreement, moving close to the hero to give him a gentle punch on his shoulder.

“Yeah, definitely. I still remember our sessions. I can teach him our ways.” The villain murmured, his voice low. He licked his lips, gazing at the hero.

Meanwhile, the sidekick blushed furiously. ‘Was the hero even aware of what he was saying at this point? He must be, he thought. ‘And what the heck was the villain talking about?’ His head pondered on and on.

“You just need a bit more training with me, and you’ll be ready to take on both of us.” The villain turned towards him, his eyes glinting with mischief. The sidekick knew that glint, the glint that made him almost fall to his knees. The villain was flirting with him and, he just wanted to run away. Because he knew, it wasn’t real. That both the hero and the villain were just being playful. But, god did he wish it was true. He knew he was a sidekick that didn’t matter. The sidekick that the world didn’t care for, not even bat an eye over. He sighed, getting up.

OMG THERE WERE SO MANY ERRORS IM SORRY IM NEVER USING GRAMMARLY AGAIN

Prompt #82

By @writingpromptsworld

The villain swore they could smell the hero's very prominent cologne in the dark office, and they had to resist the urge and not take every little thing away with them.

But no, they were on a mission. And they needed to focus, or else the supervillain would-

"You're the recruit, aren't you?" Someone spoke up, the voice was deep and smooth. They sounded amused.

The vilian froze, in the process of sniffing the hero's coat that hung on the chair behind their desk. They look up, alerted. And take out their gun. The person walked closer, and their face glowed under the moonlight. The village's eyes widened when they saw who it was.

The hero grinned. "Relax. I'm in no mood to fight."

The vilian's heart beat wildly in their chest. They didn't lower the gun, scared and in awe at the same time. The hero was even more good-looking in person as if that was possible. They gulped, and when the hero didn't come closer, they lowered the gun slowly.

The hero's grin only broadened. "Care to tell me why you were sniffing around my coat?" The villain's face immediately went scarlet, their heart dropping in their stomach. '

"Uhh…" They started. "I was searching…for potential information about your- next mission?" They really hadn't meant for it to come out as a question, but it did anyway and they cursed under their breath.

"And what is this crucial information you would find in there?" The hero played along, cocking their head to the side.

The villain opened their mouth and closed it, not sure how to tell the hero they were…curious. Well, curious is putting it lightly, they were obsessed, really. "Good question." They said, a second later.

The hero looked more entertained by the minute. They took a few more steps that brought them right in front of the villain, meeting their eyes. The hero's eyes were gray, like the moon, and glowing with mirth.

The cvilian checked out the hero before they could stop themself, their mouth drying at the sight.

The hero chuckled, "You're terrible at keeping a blank face. A really bad quality for a civilian if I say so myself."

Okay. That's it. Everything they had read about the hero was wrong. The hero wasn't stoic and ruthless as listed in their 'bio', they were something worse: flirty and dangerously good-looking.

Prompt #71

By @writingpromptsworld

When the hero finishes their training for the day, and comes home, they do not expect to see the villain sitting in the middle of their room, with a presumably champagne glass in their hand.

However, what was more strange was the fact that the villain had decorated the whole place for the hero’s happy birthday. But the decorations weren’t normal like balloons, banners, and…. Other decorations.

There were knives, and other weapons hanging around the room vaguely, yet somehow fashionably. There was a cake in the middle with the hero’s name, painted red, their name in a black font. And the villain sat, grinning.

The hero stood still for a second, taking it all in slowly. If it was anyone in the hero’s space, they would have been shocked. Horrified, perhaps. But the hero, the hero barely blinked an eye at it. They sighed. “Is this the birthday party I get for working hard all day?” They asked, setting down their backpack.

The villain chuckled. “If that was your way of saying ‘thank you’, I regret to inform you it's not the best way.” The hero perked an eyebrow, before sitting down opposite the villain.

“And why would I be thanking you for this?” The hero asked, motioning around the room in a ‘what the heck is this?’ tone.

The villain pouted, their full lips crunching into a perfect circle. “Now that’s not very nice. I worked very hard to find all of your hidden guns, and even the knives! Gosh the knives! Why do you not have a knife holder?” They mused, their brows frowning in concentration as if this was a serious thing they took great interest in.

The hero pursued their lips. They hadn’t eaten much all day, and the cake(however bloody it was designed to look) appeared as delicious as water in a dessert. Their stomach growled, and they glanced at the villain. The villain smiled sweetly.

“Let’s cut the cake! Happy birthday, my hero.” The ‘my’ was really unnecessary, the hero thought but let it go anyway.

They leaned forward and blew off the candles. The candles were all black. “Thank you.” They mumbled, feeling uneasy yet a sick kind of affection towards the villain for remembering their birthday and even throwing a party. No one had done it, not even their closest so-called colleagues.

They put on a smile. Not forced, but genuine. The villain smiled just as genuinely back. The hero devoured the cake, it was a chocolate cake, their favorite. And while eating, the villain spoke up. “Just because I did all this doesn’t mean I’m going soft on you during our fights, just so you know.” They licked their lips, a flirtatious grin spreading across their cream kissed lips.

The hero rolled their eyes with a smile. “Yeah, yeah. You’re a big baddie, who doesn’t have a heart and has a stone cold persona. Blah blah blah.”

The villain laughed, gazing at them with love filled eyes. The hero couldn’t ask for more for their birthday.

Snippet #9

The hero screamed in agony as the blood oozed out of his body, and into the pool of liquid beside him. His voice echoed in the empty vast sky, and then nothing. An anguished silence. And then, a thud. He fell on his back, the villain going out of his vision for a second.

As if on cue, or maybe it was just mocking him, it started raining. Heavy droplets made his eyes so heavy, he fought to open them. The villain stayed where he was, a knife dripping blood mixed with the rain, onto the wet ground. The hero's breathing slowed.

"Why." He choked, his body nearly tearing itself apart by the force it took to say that. He shivered, the coldness of the raindrops getting to him. He tried inhaling. His lungs hurt, and his heart more. The villain dropped to his knees, his eyes filling with tears. He bawled. The hero's ears rang with the noise.

"I love you, but...but I couldn't. I couldn't be better for you. Loving me comes with a price." The villain rasped, he dropped the knife and walked to the lying figure. His gaze crossed with the hero's as he continued, "This is the price." The hero's heart clenched. He had failed. Failed to change the villain. Failed to save him. Failed to save himself. Failed himself. He breathed out last time, before his body gave up.

(Not me listening to "Stalker's Tango" by Autoheart while writing this. The song goes perfectly with it though)

Prompt #55

“Tch, stop being a coward and fight me, villain!” The hero grunted, their hands bound by ropes behind their back. Their legs also covered with ropes that they struggled to get out of.

“Hmmmm.” The villain started, standing up and walking slowly to where the hero was splayed on the ground. “You shouldn’t speak like that to a person who has full control over your life right now. They could take it any time they wished.”

The hero scoffed, a dirty noise in the air. And, looked up with a glare. “What you gonna do? Kill me with your silly little knife or strangle me to death? Pathetic.”

The villain frowned, and then chuckled. Their expression settling back to a calm one. They bent down to hero’s level. “Well, well, well. Aren’t you being a brat? Do I need to teach you how to talk to me?”

The hero half snorted and half laughed. “Oh, you’re going to teach me manners? The great scary villain? Gods have blessed me.”

The villain sighed. “Hero, the reason you’re here-no, we are here is because of you. You had a plan to kill me. But upon entering my secret hide-out, you find yourself instantly boomed into a trap. How very sad.”

The hero stared at him, speechless, because apparently that was true. They did indeed fall into a trap like a fucking kid who didn't know any better. They should've known about it. Predicted it. But, the bubbling excitement. The thrillness of it all had made their brain go frenzy. Never thinking about the possible obstacles of it all. They stayed silent.

The villain smiled, a mischievous smile. "With that said, I wouldn't mind teaching you some manners. If you don't mind, of course." The hero blushed at the implications, immediately going red in the face.

It was going to be long before they actually got out of that place.

Prompt #78

@writingpromptsworld

“So…you lost the bet.” The villain mused, smirking what seemed to be tremendous amount of satisfaction.

The hero frowned. They didn’t even know what the villain was talking about. “What bet?” They asked.

“The bet that said that neither of us would ever fight each other again. But here we are.” The villain explained, nodding.

“Well, then you’ve lost the bet too. You’re here, aren’t you.”

“Oh, no no no. I’m just here to inform you that you’ve lost the bet.” The villain said hurriedly.

The hero stood puzzled for a moment. And then they smiled. “In that case, I’m also here to inform you that you’ve lost the bet.”

The villain pouted. Adorable, the hero thought. “You can’t use my reasoning against me.”

The hero tittered, almost fondly. They took a step forward, the hand raising to stroke the villain’s cheek.

“You’re adorable.” They said. The villain blushed, glaring at them half-heartedly.

“I still won the bet.” The villain insisted.

“Mhmm you did.” The hero responded.

When the hero later asked the villain-their head lying on hero’s lap- what was the prize for winning the bet, the villain realized they had forgotten to decide on the prize.
