Sometimes I remember the sheer scale of evolutionary alterations that coelacanths have muscled their way through

the weight of eons of change and incremental improvement on a cellular level that have been concealed under, to what our eyes, an ossified limb configuration that’s remained stagnant in its antiquity.

So I can seek comfort in my own improvements, even if nothing hints to it from the outside

The gentleman and gentlewoman that date back all the way from 2007 may rise again! To think it’s been 10 years since the Professor’s initial release!

There is only ONE thing I love as much as this whole series... And she’s a real person. ♡(.◜ω◝.)♡ AND THAT’S SAYING SOMETHING. (｡’▽’｡) !!!

The beloved Akira Tago ((puzzle master/creator)) passed away in March, but they revived the spirit with someone new! ((Kuniaki Iwanami!)) I can’t wait to see what the whole team will create!

And what’s even better was that this was announced just today! Level 5 ((my favourite game studio)) also released a TONNE of information about some other really great series of theirs like Yokai Watch and Inazuma!

3 years since the professor last played a role in a game, 4 years since he starred in his own ((final)) game, and 10 years since his fist release back on the DS. Truly, it is a time to be alive.

I think I finally understand the meme “community” now. We’re all different people; different levels of screwed over, different backgrounds. But I feel as though we all have the same thing in common: we just want to make people laugh. Even if it’s with our edgy, satirical BS.

Humour is really all some of us have, y’know? Memes are really nothing to take seriously at all. But, like, why do some of us invest so much time into it? These inside jokes that are plastered all over every meme page/blog/site on most social media outlets sort of instill this sense of mutual understanding with one another. 

It resembles the feeling when someone shares the same sense of humour as you. It’s much easier to become friends with them then. I think that behind every “Edgy Memelord”is just a lonely kid that wants a friend to laugh with. And what better way to find a mate than within a community based on jokes and shitty humour?

i finished my mermay challenge!! a little late but this is my first finished challenge so i’m pretty proud and happy with the effort put in :) i hope you all enjoyed seeing all the merms!!
