I’ve been working on some goretober stuff and I figured I’d go and not post like each day but wait till like the end of the week just to do it. I typically do inktober but as many people have seen, the prompt list kinda sucks so I went with another list (since I haven’t done goretober in a long time). Not tons of hardcore gore I’ve been trying to just use my characters to really show their story. I hope that you’re able to get what’s going on in each drawing.

Bc yk astronomy can get pretty boring when it’s just lecture after lecture (I do like the class a lot but man it’s boring and I have it first thing in the morning so yk I go night night in the class if I don’t keep myself occupied).

I finally got myself to do all their ref sheets tho other than the fathers. I haven’t decided if I’m going to do those yet bc they’re important but not enough to where I NEED to do a ref for them yk. So I haven’t decided that yet.

Don’t mind my rambling tho, it’s very messy and there’s a lot going on lol…😬

The two siblings that have an insane mental health list😀👍

These are my two guys that I’ve actually had for a while and like just the other day decided that they were siblings.

On the left is Sunset she’s an animus sandwing who attends JM. She is squishing her bff Firestorm, a skywing, in the drawing on the bottom lol.

On the right is Chili, he’s a sky/sand firescales, who just loves to go around hurting people for money it’s great honestly.

They share the same mother, a sandwing named Adenium, who works in the market selling little trinkets to make ends meet. Her two kids don’t know they’re related, Chili hasn’t talked to her (and his father) in a very long time and Sunset is very low contact with her as her mother likes to use her magic to spice up the items she sells.

Now. Take your talons, rip open your stomach, and show everyone what you're really like inside. Pour out your life on this stage.

Making Qibli piss yellow should be a crime. Make him a nice and warm brownish yellow to compliment his personality. Give him a nice dark brown sail. Give him some cute freckles which some people forget he canonically has for some reason and give him a dashing smile. Quit making my handsome man the color of bright unhealthy piss.

Dear GOD did I go I bit crazy on the lighting, but I think it came out very nicely.

I though it was time I should post something more backstory related about some of my characters, and I was listening to this song about a week ago and the gears started turning in my head and then I started mischievously laughing and rubbing my hands together. I love Cyperus and Cygnus sm and their dynamic with each other. I haven’t seen anyone else do something like twin big wings and I think that it has so much potential.

Anyways, if you have any questions about them or any of the other crew mates about backstory’s, or just in general, I would be happy to answer them!

what if and hear me out here… Ruby is timid because @teethwitheyes101-blog was right about their head cannon and people look down on her for having the “weak fire” coloring? and so hear me out on this next one BUT. (scroll past the next picture)

tourmaline has one of the stronger fire colors in scale indications that teeth with eyes has supplied us with, so that’s why she was the stronger daughter who was hold and brave, because also scarlet has the scale colors right in the middle of ruby and tourmaline, btw !!SPOILERS FOR ESCAPING PERIL!!, so closer to the end of the book when it’s discovered that Ruby is actually tourmaline with a spell over her earring maybe just maybe it was so that way none of Scarlets kids would be brave enough to challenge her? because if tourmaline had stronger fire than Scarlet, Scarlet would be aware of the fact tourmaline would have much more strength than Scarlet did, so she killed the original Ruby and then the spell on the earring made “Ruby” believe she had never been any other dragon but Ruby, that way Scarlet did not have to die from her stronger daughter before she got the chance to be queen for the rest of her life and “Ruby” thought she was too weak to challenge her mom, so she lived obediently, then we break into the point when scarlet and “Ruby” are about to fight over who gets to be queen “Ruby” isn’t willing to do assuming she would never win, but as SOON as she gets to be Tourmaline again she’s confident in her strength and beats Scarlet resulting in the evil queens death, just think about it! Scarlet had an animus at the time when she had that earring made and she had two daughters one of which could have very well been able to kill her! and scarlet had already shown a willing to kill her kids, so with her last two kids what if she was so power hungry that she decided to off her weakest of the two then make the strong one believe she was weak rather than just having someone kill Tourmaline for her? also clearly Scarlet has a way powerful ego so she most likely would literally never been willing to hire an assassin rather than do the dirty work herself! also! she would want to kill her much stronger daughter while making a spectacle of it, she would want everyone to see it, but she couldn’t do that if she had a definite disadvantage! so as a summary, scarlet totally killed the real ruby because she was weak, made tourmaline (who is much stronger fire) believe that she WAS ruby for her whole life so that scarlet could be queen even longer!

this is long and possibly a yap sesh BUT i was looking for cool WOF aus to read through and teeth with eyes’ art came up making me think of the leaked pictures of the escaping peril graphic novel and how Ruby is darker in color than everyone imagined which gave me this whole thing that ive typed out :3 tbh i was originally looking for motivation to write my own AU but then this happened 😅 but this is so much more fun bro

I love Darkstalker and I love his "fall" from grace. Particularly since I don't every think he was good and just got worst as time went on. He's a man incapable of self-reflection and growth and was always destined to become a monster.

I hate winter, I do NOT care about his trauma, it does NOT excuse him being an absolute wet tea towel. I don't want to hear it's because of his trauma because I do NOT care, he doesn't need to take it out on other people.

Drawn traditionally then edited digitally a bit. Time to ramble because out of all the WOF characters i relate to Qibli the most. We both grew up in unstable enviroments wanting nothing more than a sense of control and having a strong sense of justice in an unjust world over which we again have no control. We both always want to Do More and Be More and try and try and try and are extremely critical over our every failure. We know what needs to be done but just can't do it. If only we had more power perhaps we could do more good. Then DarkStalker is the opposide side of the same coin. He has the same sense of justice and desire for control except he WAS born with that power. This scene is so important because Qibli is offered the power he'd always dreamed of but here comes into play what distinquishes the two of them. Qibli realizes that the real issue is the power itself. Power corrupts, as the WOF story states time and time again. Qibli realizes that no single dragon should have this much power and declines DarkStalkers offer.

My characters in boxes!!!!!! I thought it would be a fun little thing after I saw a post @vulturegardens had made with their own characters (literally love their art style it’s super cool btw).

Tobi and Kalypso are in the same universe (basically a mix of avatar and genshin impact and made it fantasy with powers), they’re are very much found family, they grew up together as neighbors and went on every adventure together.

Taipan and Neptune are in my little wof world, I’ve talked about them before on my account, they’re partners and help their little group save the world from destruction!

Kass is another world saver (he’s basically my version of Link from Loz) he tries saving the world as a teen, fails which costs him an arm, then tries again three years later and wins.

Liam is royalty in another modern/fantasy world I have, it’s really random and literally serves no purpose and has no big planned out plot so far, but him and his family have been characters of mine for a while.

Karmen is my apocalypse character, I literally have a whole sketchbook dedicated to her and the lore of her world, I haven’t worked on it in a while but I plan on doing a lot more and posting more about her and her little buddy.

Sam is a Spider-Man character I’ve had for literally years and I’ve finally gone into her story and design just pretty recently so basically I love her.

Crow is pretty much an unofficial persona, I just wanted to play around with his design and see what I could do with a silky cowboy robot guy!
