A character I’ve had for a while but couldn’t decide on a name for. Meet Primrose!
Since he was young, Prim held contempt for those that did dark magic. He couldn’t help it, he was raised by a very religious family that said those who did dark magic were spawn of Satan himself. And, well, nothing he saw could really counter that logic. All the dark magic users who were strung up in the town square were ones that had harmed people. So, he adopted the logic that dark magic users were bad.
So, he started hunting them. When he was old enough, Primrose became a big game hunter. And the target? Dark magic users. He’d kill them without hesitation. Without remorse. And, well, it was fine for a while.
Until he met Sabres. Sabres became close to Primrose, the two becoming almost like siblings. But Sabres.... Sabres held a desire close to his heart. A dark want to save those destined for hell. It was a good cause, in his mind. Souls that couldn’t quite make it into the demanding standards of heaven would be saved.
Sabres began dabbling in dark magic behind Prim’s back. He found a method of saving souls until he found a way to sneak them into the holy world- putting their souls in a neutral state to where he could store them. And he found his first test subjects.
Primrose was one of the first Sabres tested his magic on. Prim had killed before, but was a good man! He should go to heaven. Primrose fought for his life, and won. But.... found himself changed.
The magic damage he’d sustained made him basically ageless. And..... well.... Sabres was Primrose’s friend. How could Sabres betray Prim like that? How could Prim go on hunting when he now knew that.... not all dark magic users were bad. Or, at least, weren’t bad before the dark magic.
Primrose has stopped hunting. For now. He looks for answers on his conflicted feelings instead. And mourns his friend.
Extra info:
Primrose is an elf.
Primrose is greyromantic asexual. He very rarely ever feels romantic attraction- but has felt it once or twice. Once for someone close to him and once for someone he’d met none too long before the feelings developed.
Is Sabres dead?
Primrose is based off the peace master from adventure time. And also Covah lol.
Primrose has been bitten by a few vampires.
Prim has a huge burn scar over his right eye. Despite this, he can see fine out of it. But prefers to cover it up.
Some require an explanation for why we make the things we make. Why rules must break, and for whose sake!
Of course you got the answers! Cause you ain't the one that's in my position.

I thought it would be fun to draw @ask-whitepearl-and-steven ‘s Steven and my personal gem oc Dolomite interacting! A small drabble to go with this under the cut
Steven hummed to himself while holding tight onto the fidgeting Sea Glass. The crystal gems thought perhaps Adventurine had fled into the nearby woods for the hiding space, so the gems were all camping here for a few days to look for her.
Currently, Steven had been told to stay put while the gems handled a noise that was likely to belong to a corrupted gem nearby. He knew he could fight, but would rather not fight if not necessary. So, he sat against the tree. Waiting for the gems to return.
Dolomite returned before the other gems, parting the brush with frustration - sticks in her perfect hair and scuffs over her suit. "I hate foliage."
"Dolomite!" Steven called to his room mate and.... friend? Dolomite was hard to read, being so quiet and staring at him quietly a lot. She said she knew White Diamond before he was.... this. But never said much about the before. Said that she preferred to keep those sorts of things private. Steven considered her a friend, even if she was hard to talk to sometimes. She had saved him so much, it was hard not to. "Are you okay?"
"You look like shit!" Sea Glass barked with a wide grin.
"Sea Glass!" Steven squawked, "where did you learn-"
"Amethyst!" Sea Glass grinned up at Steven diabolically.
"Of course," Steven sighed exasperatedly. Dolomite had brushed herself off at this point, thrown her cane to the side, and went to sit..... But instead twisted herself so she could sit upside down against a tree. Letting her legs fall forward to the ground in front of herself and folding her two sets of arms in front of her stomach.
Steven smiled slightly at the silliness of the formal gem sitting so oddly. "I wanna do that!" CG wrangled herself out of Steven's arms and sat next to Dolomite, maneuvering so she could sit on her head as well. But, she quickly fell over with an "oof!"
Dolomite took a deep breath. In through her mouth. Out through her nose. "What are you even doing?" Steven chuckled lightly as CG tried to maneuver herself to sit on her head again. Not like she had any blood, so it wouldn't hurt her to do so.
Dolomite's eyes flicked over to Steven, before speaking tiredly, "I'm letting the light in my form rush to my gem. It gives me a little more energy to deal with this.... foliage. It can be done standing but...." Dolomite shrugged, "I thought this would be comfortable," there was a pause and a wrinkling of her nose, "It isn't."
Steven laughed before pausing. Her gem, huh.... "Hey, Dolomite-" Steven looked her up and down. He'd never seen it before. Was it rude to ask? "Where is your gem?"
Dolomite blinked a moment. She let herself fall to the side, before writing her posture to be sitting up. She stared off into the trees. Steven sweated, seeing her distant expression. "I'm sorry- Is it rude to ask-"
"No." Dolomite interrupted, one arm moving to help CG sit on her head with support. She watched CG's happy smile for a moment as she sat oddly. "For most gems, where our gems are is a statement." She motioned with another arm, "You have a big heart, you're nurturing and kind-" She leaned forward and tapped his gem gently, "You favor thinking things through more than others. All gems wear them loudly and openly, to absorb light and to show how they may stand out from the thousands of other gems out there. But-" She looked away for a moment, "I..... Not even you have seen my gems."
"Yeah, I haven't," Steven tilted his head, "That's why I asked where-"
"I'm sorry." Dolomite shook her head, "I meant..... Not even White saw them. Before."
Oh. Steven swallowed. CG fell to the side again. She looked between the two before crawling back to Steven’s lap. Ignoring the serious conversation. "I kept it a secret. Keep it a secret." Dolomite did not meet Steven's eyes, looking distantly. "I don't know why. Maybe some part of me likes the air of mystery. Not even the Diamonds knew! Surely, that made me special. Made me stand out. Maybe that's what attracted her to me in the first place. My confidence to show that I was special. Like her. She never said why she kept me. She just.... did." Dolomite played with her hair for a moment. watching the white strands curl between her fingers. "Sometimes I think I was lucky. That she didn't make an example out of me. That she saw my bright-eyed loyalty to show her our new form, and eventually made me her right hand when Yellow made the position. Instead of making me her puppet."
"Dolomite, I-" Steven started, leaning forward a comforting hand. His brows furrowed a second. "Wait, 'our'?"
Dolomite smiled at Steven tiredly, “Steven- It thought you realized by now. The two eyes on one side, the four arms-” She chuckled before motioning to herself, “I’m a fusion.”
Steven stared at her in shock, before shouting so loud he would find he scared off the corrupted gem monster later-
do u have any dnd ocs?
I do! I'd draw them but I'm currently very ill (not covid) and sitting up makes it worse. So, just a list for now! I don't actually have any current games I'm in but I would use any of these if I was in one.
Korppi - Kenku - Warlock - They/Them
A kenku born without the ability to mimic, they were a quiet messenger who could only really make bird noises. However, an accident left them making an unwanted deal with their patron. Now, they adventure with the goal of finishing their end of the bargain in order to go back to their normal life.
Risks - Changeling? - Bard - He/They
Risks, as far as anyone is aware, is a normal- if overtly flamboyant bard from the college of eloquence. However, Risks is anything but normal. After hearing a big bad planned to dominate and eventually destroy the world, a diety of chaos thought; "Well. If the world is destroyed, there will be no more chaos." And so, they crafted a more mortal looking shell in order to help their adventuring party to save the world. In their own, chaotic way. They personally just want to make sure this party actually survives to save the world. The chaos that happens along the way is just bonus. No one has any idea Risks is truly a diety capable of doing so much more than the limited effort they actually put forth.
Axel - Bugbear - Fighter - He/Him
A mysterious homeless gentleman who seems to worship axes. Very gruff and never really talking much gentleman. He doesn't seem bright at first, but actually can be quite smart. A mostly joke character based on this post.
Firbolg - Firbolg - Paladin - He/Him
An indentured servant to a spoiled brat of an elf since his youth, Firbolg swore duty to his liege and is constantly babysitting him. His liege has ordered him to escort the party to another city. Shenanigans ensue and this has turned into a huge quest. On the way, the party slowly chips away at the servitude and loyalty Firbolg has held strong his entire life....
Goblin - Goblin - ? - He/They/It
Goblin is a little Goblin who can only say "Goblin!" Not very bright. A mostly joke character. Never decided on what class he should be.
Qroo - Aarakocra/Gnome hybrid - Wizard - He/Him
His mother was a vulture based Aarakocra. His father, a Gnome. What did Qroo come out as? A pigeon. It's tough being so small in a big person's world, especially in his pursuit of magical knowledge. But, he makes due. He's a very dapper, very polite, and very gentlemanly. It's all only proper.
FHLLFASYKKC WIFE!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR DRAWING HER HOLY GEEZ!! ;;
trying to break out of artblock with my friends ocs
@yaboy-robin
I’m rewatching Reunited and I noticed something.
Sapphire startles and hides her eye to prevent herself looking at Ruby-
before Ruby walks in.
Meaning she knew Ruby was about to walk in, by using her future vision.
She saw Ruby.
Now, in (American) popular culture, it is bad luck to see the bride before the wedding. We see later that Ruby is considered the bride by her wearing the wedding dress and walking down the aisle like a traditional (American) bride (sorta):
Now, what bad luck could this have brought? What misfortune happened later that Sapphire did not foresee because she was so distracted by Ruby and the wedding?
The Diamonds arrive.
That’s bad luck if I’ve ever heard it.
Meet Mystic Chaos Emerald Diamond Quartz (not a part of my oc au I don't think but. hoo boy I love them. I based them off of a dnd oc I'm never gonna use and actually haven't designed yet).
A long time ago, Pink Diamond was the youngest Diamond, trying desperately to show the others she was ready for a colony. She took a desperate, inadvisable step.
She created Mystic "Chaos Emerald" Diamond "Quartz" (the names in quotations added by Mystic themselves later, a desperate bid to show that she was no longer the youngest Diamond and thus deserved a colony. And, to show she was powerful and responsible enough to handle one as well.
None of this went according to plan. Pink got into massive trouble for crafting a new diamond without permission (something that it was thought only White could do until then). And, there was now a new diamond that none of the others were ready for or sure what to do with.
It didn't help that Mystic was.... not very willing to follow the rules. They are, as the name they chose implies, very chaotic. They are very whim-based, and don't really do things they should. Rather, they enjoy having fun and seeing the results of the chaos they caused to happen.
The only reason that the diamonds did not punish this diamond as they did Pink is well.... Mystic is powerful. They have a future vision beyond that of a Sapphire, and their aura seemed to be a mix of Blue Diamond's sadness aura and a new anxiety/fear-inducing aura that stopped even the most powerful gems in their tracks.
So, the diamonds generally leave Mystic to their own devices. Even Pink doesn't visit them for the reminder they pose of her poor attempt to get a colony. So, Mystic plays on their own, occasionally visiting court gatherings of the other diamonds for fun and to annoy the other diamonds. Mystic doesn't really have their own court, having not really thought of making her own gems yet. So, no one's sure what type of gems they can make.
Mystic is a head taller than Pink Diamond, and uses they/them pronouns majorly but is fine if a gem slips up and uses she/her pronouns.
A squared display That remembers when! That leads the way To live in “Then”! (But why live it again?) Those children- The men-! Mm, never again! Is it to change, Bend, Shift the way things were? To turn the mystery To a history you prefer? To take it back? The film to black? The shot to blur? Or-?
Who cares what happened after?
You ever like. Quietly think about how many fucking soldier and fighting based gems that gem society has. And they've only had one war. like what do those soldiers do. before and after the war. I mean a soldier can be more than a fighter of course. But homeworld has shown they're very narrow minded and liberal with making gems with purposes that other gems could do fine (stares directly at obsidian and larimar). so what. does homeworld have them DO.
Gee, you should really look where you're going, Sinny! (^:
Redundantly evil,
Nauseatingly foul,
Contemptibly vile,
And so vexatious!
