You ever like. Quietly think about how many fucking soldier and fighting based gems that gem society has. And they've only had one war. like what do those soldiers do. before and after the war. I mean a soldier can be more than a fighter of course. But homeworld has shown they're very narrow minded and liberal with making gems with purposes that other gems could do fine (stares directly at obsidian and larimar). so what. does homeworld have them DO.
My soooon!!! ❤❤❤❤ I adore how he turned out in your style!! Thank you again so much for drawing him!!
EXP Mini Commission for @yaboy-robin !
A very quick test comic for Hybrid High! This would be in the second "chapter" (if you count the prologue as a chapter), when Percy would first meet Cyraeni!
BOSS; Ubris - God Deity of Time Fortune and Fate Species: DEITY Gender: REDACTED; please refer to Boss in the third person. Sexuality: Greyromantic Asexual
Boss is the deity of time. Creator of all Arglwydd Amsers, and revered and followed by them like a God they know exists. Fabled deity in ancient times.
Boss is a bit of a know it all, knowing everything that might, will, and has happened in our and other universes. Boss is the one who sends all Arglwydd Amsers to their missions. And, sometimes.... Their death. Boss may not like it, but it is fate. Woven into all of their very souls. It must be followed to the letter.
Boss has a hard time making and keeping connections. Knowing the ending to all life tends to do that. Boss's friends and loved ones are few and far between. Once upon a time, there was a timeline where Boss fell for and chose Gwendolyn as Boss's own king. But.... That is not the path this universe took. Even if Boss regrets what happened between them, Boss stands by it. For, it was what fate commanded.
Look! I did a guest update for me friend! Bonus Nova in the bg
art and bg character done by @yaboy-robin
The Element swap au version of Celestia! I decided to redesign her and Luna for this au cause I could.
Many legends and myths are had about the pony who ruled Equestria alone for 1000 years. It was bound to happen, as many generation are had in that time. And no pony really got close to her in that time.
No pony alive other than Luna and the Princess Consort (to be designed) know what the face and cutie mark of the reigning deity looks like. This is because many legends prevailed in ancient times that said that looking upon her golden visage would blind a pony. For, they could not stand to see anything more after seeing such beauty. And, well, she just got used to it after the years. It’s second habit now. As for the cutie mark, no pony knows why she hides it other than Luna and the Princess Consort.... It’s a sun, right?
(story under the cut :3c)
Simone took a deep breath of forest air. It'd been.... so long. She knew this instinctively. Somewhere, in her core, she knew time had passed. She knew Ella had abandoned her. Pity. The girl had shown so much potential. A natural with a blade. That was the past now, though. New potential was to be had with this next wielder! This- This-
Simone looked around in confusion. Where was her new wielder?
A whimper came from the ground.
Simone looked and frowned in worry. A very, very young boy was there. He was no older than ten. No- younger. He was dirty, his braid a mess. Staring up at Simone in pure fear. Her blade laid discarded to the side. He must have been trying to play with it.
Simone bent down to be eye level with the boy. This.... This was her new wielder? It had to be a joke. Surely, the curse wouldn't hit someone so..... so young. So innocent.
The boy scooted away from her, whimpering louder. Thudding against a tree behind him. No, no- he could see her. It had to be.... He had to be affected by the power of her curse.
God, why couldn't she have been more specific in her final moments? Only those willing could wield her! Then she wouldn't have so many failures under her belt. No CHILDREN! She didn't want to bring this child into all of this. She was thinking of rejecting this child. She could do that, she knew. She'd only done it once or twice. When those with too much evil in their hearts (but not enough to kill) tried to wield her. But....
"Don't-" The child- a drow, now that she looked better- tried scooting away more. He couldn't. "Don't hurt me."
That hurt to hear. Had someone whose soul was evil laid a hand on this child? That made Simone's heart grow with anger. How dare they! How dare they hurt someone so innocent- so new. So- So-
Like her.
She'd been hurt by evil at a young age too. A bit older than him, maybe, but that didn't matter. How was she to know that this child didn't have the potential to be a justice monger like her? Maybe in a few years.....
Simone smiled warmly at the boy and rose, dusting her dress off, "Oh, no no, my child. I would never hurt you. Please, tell me, what is a boy like yourself doing here? In this abandoned place?" Curiosity pricked at the back of her mind. What had gotten this boy so scared of an adult hurting him?
The child looked over to the side before pointing, "I fell."
Simone looked over. In the distance, a short cliff with a village atop it. Ahh. He must live there. He wouldn't be returning. She wouldn't bring him somewhere he obviously felt unsafe.
She looked back at him and smiled, "Could you tell me your name, darling?"
The boy shifted uncomfortably, "You first."
Simone smiled, putting a hand to her chest "I am Simone." The child must have a reason to be so uncomfortable with sharing his name first. Perhaps there had been fae nearby at one time. "Your turn."
The boy hesitated before speaking quietly, "Quynn."
Simone internally noted his discomfort at the name. Maybe something could be done about that. "Well, Quynn-" She frowned and bent down slightly. Serious now. "Where are your parents?" She had to see their souls. Only the evil could hurt someone so new to the world-
The boy shifted uncomfortably and looked down. He then looked at her defensively and spouted (quickly, like ripping a bandage off), "What's it to you?!"
Simone approached him carefully and offered a hand to help him up. "Well, child, if you had, hypothetically, a situation where you didn't want to go home.... I could take you with me."
He looked at her hand in curiosity before looking up at her with stars in his eyes. "Really? You're not just saying that? This isn't a trick or somethin?"
She chuckled warmly, "Quynn, I promise I would never trick you. No matter how long we decide to stay together, I will never trick you." She then frowned at him seriously, "But I will warn you, the path I walk is dangerous. You may be hurt, but never by me."
The boy hesitated a moment before taking her hand quickly. "Good enough."
Simone smiled. She always wanted to be a mother.
-
Simone shakily tried to get up. This couldn't be it- She couldn't lose. Not now- Not-
Not to Covah.
She looked at the boy she'd raised from seven. How had it come to this? He was so ruined. So hurt- She'd broken her promise. She was so terrible for hurting him so- But she couldn't think of this now. She had to fight to survive, for the first time in two thousand years.
Covah approached her carefully, dropping his sword. The rapier he'd hidden from her. Gotten to fight her. "Mother, please," He begged as he offered a hand to her. To help her up. "I don't want to fight you."
"Funny," She spit venomously, "You sure seemed eager to do that when we got up here."
Covah flinched before shaking his head, "Mother- please- it doesn't have to be like this." He smiled and motioned to the horizon. "We can leave here, together! We can start anew. Rid the world of evil without death. I don't know how but- but we can do it! We can change, you can change. You don't have to-" He frowned to her and flicked his eyes away uncomfortably, "We don't have to hurt anyone anymore. Hurt each other." He bent down to his knee. The one she'd ripped from him so brutally. "Please, mother, give this a chance."
Simone looked up to her son sadly. He sure had grown up, hadn't he? She was proud, despite everything. Despite the betrayal. Despite- Despite-
Her eyes caught the scar on his face. She..... She had done that. She saw how Covah flinched away from her now. She... She was no better than evil, was she? The ones she condemned. Who was she, to say it was wrong but turn around and do it herself?
A hypocrite, that's what.
God, Covah was right.
Maybe.... Maybe Covah's future would be better without her. He'd be better without her.
That's all she wanted. Was her son to be happy. And he wouldn't be happy so long as she was there. He'd be uncomfortable around her, forever.
She smiled bitterly, sadly up to her son. Her baby Covah. It would be okay. So long as he was happy. That's what all mothers wanted, in the end, right?
"I'm sorry, Covah." She lunged at his throat.
Covah grabbed her nearby sword quickly and flung it into the volcano.
It'd be okay. So long as he was happy.....
A totally for-fun fan fusion of the lovely @ask-whitepearl-and-steven ‘s Sea Glass and Moissanite; Merlinite! A devious, plotting pirate snake lady. If you haven’t read their comic, go do it! It’s super good.
A couple hypothetical previous regens for B*tch Crystal and Brimstone!
Can you tell which one I put more effort into.
IIIIIII AMMMMM- Making believe I'm sailing on the sea!
IIIIIII AMMMMM- Making believe I'm captain of the Pea!
I'm sailing across the water and I'll dock right on the shore!
A new uncorrupted baby for my oc au. This little lady is what the uncorrupted form of the lovely Fairy Quartz looks like.
She was born labeled to be shattered due to her massive gemstone keeping her from really picking herself up off the ground or moving anywhere. Yeah, see that massive boulder she's perched atop? That's her gem.
However, a Crystal Gem spy managed to sneak her gem off the chopping block and to freedom.
Fairy Quartz wanted to join the fight for freedom but didn't have much to offer with her condition. Rose Quartz promised she'd hide Fairy away, somewhere safe, and come back for her once the war was over. Of course, Rose'd visit- not wanting to leave the little gem alone, but Fairy'd stay put until the war was over. Not that she had much of a choice, she couldn't move on her own.
Fairy Quartz spent the war hidden away in the desert, where there were no plans for building yet. She still felt lonely and angry at being seen as so weak. But, there wasn't much she could do about it-
Until the corrupting light hit.
She became a massive beast, definitely able to move this massive boulder of a gemstone now. Her corrupted form took her anger of being seen as weaker on the desert she saw and on anything that happened to pass by the beast. She was uncorrupted with the other gems and given a solid cane to help row herself along the ground. Now, she could be with other gems and finally start to figure out what she wanted for herself. And, she could even defend herself with the massive swordtail she had leftover as a corruption scar. She eventually dreams of becoming a captain of her own ship!
oh my gosh Zipper is so fucking CUTE. it says she's an unknown hybrid- why is that?
Zipper is an orphan. She was forfeited by an unidentified individual to a hospital, and scooped up by the system shortly after. They all thought maybe she was just a Nycter (a batfolk); but tests showed she had plenty of other races in there. It's highly likely her bio parents were hybrids themselves.
Some of the races in her blood include: Nycter, Cartoon, Gnome, and Triton
