It started off as a joke.

No really, it was something that Jason felt the Bats would laugh about, while also helping out some street kids along the way.

He put out a job for the kids of Crime Alley, anyone who could pickpocket the entire Wayne family would get all necessities paid for them by Red Hood until they turned 18.

Most kids that saw the challenge would think it was a joke.

Most kids that believed it was real would think it wasn't even worth trying.

Most kids that tried would be caught immediately, and subsequently get a meal paid for by their Wayne of choice and suddenly have some doors opened for them, because Jason knew his family and knew they had a soft spot for kids.

Except the one thing he didn't account for was Danny Fenton, who most certainly was not most kids.

The same can NOT be said for Ale. They have a few regrets. Sort of tying into the scars thing I sent in your ask, they'd never regret their scars! They don't like them/feel conflicted about them, sure. But the reasons they have those scars is something they'll never regret; hell, if asked if they'd do it over again, they would no hesitation.

( the scars in question; Ale has two scars on their back from saving Ageha when they first met. Its how Ageha got introduced to the Novana and what eventually led to her joining.

The other is the scar on their forehead; the bullet they took for Hayato during the Vongola Hunts, the one that should have been their 'Point' but somehow managed to survive, and made the two of them even closer. )

I love this piece. There is so much lore hidden in it and it just looks fire in general 😌🤌 (eheh fire get it--)

The lore in question ties to the colored hands 👁️👁️

The red hands around her neck is her storm flames, and her want to lash back at the world in anger for her life but her words keep getting stuck in her throat and she can't protect herself.

The purple ones are her cloud flames reminding her she can't claim anything as hers because everything gets taken away from her, and she has to live while knowing it can all be taken away at any moment.

And the indigo ones are for her mist flames keeping her mind occupied to ignore how bad everything gets, constantly living in her head and creating illusions to bring herself a bit of joy when she sleeps.

She's my little fucked up babygirl and I love her I swear 🫶

Also been trying to write down her existential crisis, it's going well ! She has no idea who she is anymore 😌

How about 'darkness and light'?

Hiii thx for this bc this is such a perfect theme choice for her actually--

When you see the ship of Kyoko and Ageha, Darkness and light/Sun and Moon is deff something that pops out ! Gloomy and dark Ageha and sunny and hopeful Kyoko !

But my headcanon is that actually, each of them considers the other the light to their darkness ☝️

Ageha lowkey has depression at the start, and slowly heals from it the longer she spends with Kyoko breaking down the walls she built around her heart ! Kyoko is literally her light in the way that she shines bright from her optimism and love, and the fact she never gives up on her. Meanwhile she considers herself a very boring and unlovable person with not a lot of talent.

On the other side, Kyoko considers Ageha her light in the sense that before her, her life was very monotone. Just smiling and be pretty, have boys fall at her feet and more boring thing. But then Ageha appeared and she saw more fun things, and could finally break out of the mold of the "perfect pretty girl" she ended up fitting in. But she thinks that she herself is actually a bit of a liar in a sense since her school persona is more or less a mask for her now, and Ageha is getting her to be more truthful to herself !

(yes I know it was just supposed to be Ageha but listen it fits well with the theme so u get ship knowledge--)

do you have any tips for drawing side profiles of the face? specifically in a more stylized/simplified manner

idk this is how I draw them. I think the best way to simplify stuff is breaking down the shapes and going from there, so like circles and triangles ish
