“okay okay, Brett I got another one… ” you giggled slightly , you are currently at your boyfriend’s place cuddling in his bed.

“Are you a tower…?” you started, he gave you an amused look. “Because Eiffel for you” you finished. He shook his head.

You were throwing lame pickup lines at him.

“Are you hot or its just the holy spirit burning inside you? ” you turned around.

“Babe, we are already dating” he chuckled.

“So? ” you got top of him straddling him.

“I’m gonna punch you…. ” you smirked. “yeah…? ” he raised his eyebrow curiously.

“— in your lips with my lips, softly cause I love you” you leaned forward.

You squealed when you felt his fingers against your ribcage.

“oh my– ha ha ” you tried to get away from his grip.

“Brett, STOP ” you laughed more. He grinned tickling you more. You rolled over making both of you fell to the floor.

He pinned you down preventing your escape. “you are such a dork” he kissed your nose.

“You still love me though” you grinned still laughing.

“Of course, you are adorkable ” he kissed your lips. You both stayed there for few minutes.

“Babe, I got another one… ” you looked at him making him chuckle.

The other day I watched a little boy get knocked to the ground by an older kid who was running by. He burst into tears as his mother hurried over.

“Here’s a bandaid for ya,” I said, producing one from my vest pocket.

“Oh, he’s not bleeding, thank you though!”

I lowered my voice and leaned in. “Kids think bandaids are health magic,” I said. “Ask him where it hurts and exploit that placebo effect.”

She did just that, and instantly the kid stopped crying and thanked her. “I’ll have to remember that,” she said.
